He would go back and forth from her hair to mine, gauging her needs accordingly, always keeping careful watch on his time for product sitting, despite all distractions and obstacles. Daniel is absolutely amazing!!! Let me start off my saying this review is crazy overdue. I first saw Daniel back in 2012 when I was back in SF on vacation and needed to have my hair done. I already knew I wanted to go to Regis and ended up booking and appt with him. I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted to do with my hair other than probably highlights and something different. I have curly, frizzy hair that doesn't behave no matter what I do, so doing something different that would still keep it tame is a tall order. Daniel was able to give me the exact color and cut I wanted, without me being able to fully describe it to him. My hair is difficult...that is an understatement. I have very curly hair. I once tried to grow it out to look like Robert Plant and I ended up looking like Bob Ross. My mother owned the local salon that did all the old ladies with perms and blue hair...it was the 80's of course, so everyone assumed she permed my hair! YUK! When I was a kid, I was teased relentlessly for it. Whenever I would get it cut and try to have any length it was never right. Occasionally I would get frustrated and just shave it off for a while. Then I met Daniel and I was finally able to have hair! He knows how to tame the curls and do it in a way that I can keep some length and live on a tropical island without looking like I just stuck my finger in a light socket. The short parts have the best fade I've ever seen without any lines or obvious transitions. The top has a cute curl and without much product I am able to keep it long enough to look great all day and still be good to go for dinner when I get off work.
