Terrible Mother's Day brunch buffet. Woman who seemed to be the manager/running the event was extremely rude. When I booked my reservation I was under the impression there was no specific fix menu/Mother's Day event. There was ONE post on Instagram which I missed (my fault of course), and I checked the website multiple times and didn't see anything about it. Again I take responsibility for this, as it was my mistake, but upon asking the woman in the red velvet jacket for menus, she said in a very snappy tone - we don't do menus until 4 it's a buffet. When I shared with her that I didn't know this, she again in a very nasty manner said "we've been advertising it since Easter". How about some customer service? An "aw I'm sorry for your confusion - we posted it to the Instagram" or just sharing with me that it was online and telling me what we can do and explaining it KINDLY, would've gone a long way. On top of this attitude filled interaction, the food was cold. I've been here before and was looking forward to dining here but I was met with extreme disappointment and a very bad experience. Had such a fun time at brunch here. I love when menus think outside of the box and have other food options than the traditional brunch items. To start, my friend and I shared some pool party drink. It was sooooo good. The pic doesn't do the size of it justice. Skip the slab bacon as an appetizer. It's like regular slices of bacon thrown on a plate and you're charged like $12 for it. VERY disappointing. We also had the breakfast pretzel. Really cute idea, but only get this if you're more than 2 people... it's huge and has sausage and potatoes inside of a pretzel. For our entrees we had the cannoli French toast which was really good, and the huevos rancheros. Also good. For dessert we had the stuffed churros with the dipping sauces. They were insanely good. Service was super nice, but super slow. We were there over two hours. I think it's because there were quite a few large party tables, but it was around 30-45 mins just for appetizers to come out. I am going to give 4 stars, because all in all we had a very decent experience despite the restaurant as a whole being a complete shit show...and I say this kindly because we look forward to returning on a calmer night and sitting outdoors or at the bar. And I truly believe our waiter was doing his best..and i totally am aware of the labor shortage and supply chain issues. I am not in the food industry, but even as a novice I can attempt to sum up some of the inherent concerns..one may very well be the manager since there are numerous Yelp complaints that remain unchanged and unanswered..and I know there is one because my waiter had to bring the incorrect bill to them (a few errors and inconsistant menu prices as well) But if you consider some suggestions as a way to increase revenue and customer satisfaction..., who can argue. And I get that they must be doing something right to be filled most nights, but so was Caio Baby.... The priority would be getting the table's drink order on board immedietly upon seating, as they will be consumned while reviewing the extensive and interesting menu and a second round very soon after..folks are thirsty !! What a $$$ waste to miss out on our table of 6 eager for a cocktail and ready for another after placing the food order. That leaves an opportunity for a 3rd round later on. We had to almost beg for our drink order to be placed, 15 min after arrival...that's 11 min too long, IMO... The wait staff ( hard to identify since all seem to be in black t shirts) seem to be doing way too much...unnecessarily running around. The frenetic pace along with the dim lighting and loud music is not a desirable dining experience for us. And the servers seemed to have tables all over the place, not grouped in one area or district..what ??? They seemed to have plenty of staff, so it did not appear to be a shortage. To make matters worse, the bar is located up in the very front and the food seems to come out of the very back creating a system where they staff is hustling from front to back along with the food runners..I personally would be miserable working in this type of disorganization. Here is my suggestion: break the tasks up and have dedicated staff for each. Slow down the frenzy, give better attention to the customer, increase $$$$. A dedicated bar runner..I forgot to mention, the wait staff uses an ipad..why on earth would they have to waste time away from the floor and stand around waiting for their drinks to be made..around a very packed bar..rather, one or two runners would take drinks to the tables..that's their only function (and take glassware back to bar if it's washed up front or drop at back)..drink order placed, they soon appear as if by magic. The food would have dedicated runners..not runners AND also the wait staff helpin...and dedicated bussers. This leaves the wait person to do what they are intended to do..take orders, as many as they can and as fast as folks need to order. Seems simple, perhaps i am wrong but it has to be better than this fiasco. Food was very good. We didn't receive fresh plates for the shared entrees as ours went back after the apps, and none for dessert until we asked, so that was annoying and food got a bit cold. But I was very happy with the food and our choices. Pizzas could have been scored better, the Burrata Bomb was a mess to cut and handle. And get rid of those horrible poly napkins..! Either use paper or invest in a decent absorbable washable napkin..one that doesnt slide right off of the lap. read more

I absolutely love this place. Me and my girl have been here many times and the food and is always delicious and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Looking forward to future visits. Extensive beer list - some unique beers that you won't find elsewhere + your typical bottled ones. Bar staff and food are all great and reasonably priced to my liking. Service is fast. And bartenders are good with remembering what I like as to my order is always particular no matter where I go. They know their taps very well. If u don't like one. They'll be sure to point you in right direction! Great bar to grab a drink or come for a nice dinner. The chef's menu is unique and the food is fantastic! Was very upset with this restaurant since it had such a positive vibe. A lot of the dishes we ordered were lacking in flavor. Our waiter was kind enough to offer suggestions and recommendations since it was our first time going. We ordered 5 different dishes which covered majority of the types on the menu. Fry sampler basket- Came with 3 different types of fries and 3 different dipping sauces. The fries were seasoned and the sauces complimented it well. Tuna Tartare- The tuna pieces were cut too big to scoop and did not contain any passion fruit pearls which it stated it had on the menu. The Sam Remo- This wood fire pizza did not have much flavor even though it contained vodka and pesto sauce. The dough was very bland and was not crisp Wood fire wings- We got the hottest sauce which was Signature 850 mixed with Tuscan garlic parmesan and it was not spicy at all even though it is suppose to be the hottest sauce. The spice level is comparable to regular black pepper which is upsetting Filet Mignon Tower- Asked for medium rare, steak came out rare and was really tough to cut, whole dish was drenched in the red wine reduction causing the potato croquette to be soggy Overall I would not come back to this place because if they cannot get minor things correct such as ingredients and menu correct why would they get other important things correct Food- 3/10 Cleanliness- 8/10 Staff- 8/10 read more

The hostess was rude- (they are the first experience) Then we sat- took over 10min to get greeted and asked what we wanted to drink- (that's okay have us time to look at the menu) As soon as we placed our drinks we also placed our order (which wasn't too crazy) I do hate to share- it took an Hour to receive our food. And when it did come out it was paced out by plate. Meaning one person to 2 min, until the last plate took over 10min. Apparently the kitchen didn't get the entire order. My potatoes were not cooked all the way. I can see our server telling the manager and he looked back at our table and gave a dirty look. (I mean the potatoes were not cooked all the way and I didn't complain- just told the server) Finally we received our last plate- asked for the check for the manager to come up and say- sorry for that (because we inconvenienced him) and take off? I'm concerned if the economy and post covid has made everyone lady and not want to take accountability. They could have at least comped the French toast that was delivered to the table 15min after all other paced out food. Well after giving Prato another shot I'd say it was worth it. The first time fell a little short but we both agreed we'd give it another whirl. Last night we went again and yeah it was worth it. Reservations for two outside. At first they wanted to seat us at a high top next to a fairly large table but we asked kindly to be moved over to the table in the corner. Sure enough we were moved to the corner and at a regular table. What We Ordered: - What The Fig! : me and on the rocks. - Coco Cabana : him, sans toasted coconut rim - Calamari Trio : shared and quite good. Spicy marinara for the win. - Burnt Broccolini Bianco: shared. We both agreed the broccolini could've been a little more burnt and a bit more sausage but pretty solid. We had been here once before for drinks and appetizers, then back for dinner a couple of weeks ago. my review then would have been totally different. The drinks were good and the food terrific. Last night was really disappointing. Though we had no reservation, we we're greeted warmly, asked to wait a reasonable amount of time and we're seated quickly. all good, right? Nope. The table was wet with drink rings, so it clearly had not been cleaned. No biggie, we'd ask them to wipe it down when approached for a drink order. Almost half an hour in, nobody came to the table, nor close enough to ask for our waiter/waitress. While waiting, I watched a busboy "clean" and set another table. He made a halfhearted attempt to spray and wipe the table, missing a wet area and proceeded to set dishes and tableware on the wet and dirty table. After being ignored and seeing the poor cleaning of the tables, we left. We were as unnoticed leaving as we were sitting. Maybe this was just an off night, perhaps we'll try again. If so, and if better, we'll revise our review. read more

Prato is just a reminder of how lucky it is to have a gastropub in your town, which I don't. There were so many options: if you wanted a gourmet meal, check, if you want bar food, check, if you want just great drinks, check. For an appetizer, we opted for the pretzel which was very airy and soft. Nothing that resembles a typical concession stand pretzel which was a great relief. We also opted for boneless wings. I got the small to make room for dinner but the portion was still huge, definitely feeds 2, maybe 3 people. Finally for dinner, I got the burrato bomb pizza. It was a deep dish style pizza but wasn't buttery at all, which again was a great relief. The service was top notch, and had plenty of seating inside and outside. She makes the best drinks, makes incredible recommendations, and is just an all around fantastic bar tender that we always look forward to seeing. I've been here a few times for brunch/bottomless brunch. Their shared drinks are fun and also their bottomless drink options. The breakfast tacos I got this time were pretty mid though and did not have much flavor- just potatoes and scrambled egg in a taco shell. Their breakfast pizza is interesting, but on the saltier side. The fries and potatoes are pretty good. Pretzel is also a nice appetizer. While I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the food we ordered this time, I do like a lot of the other stuff on their menu which I got when I came here previously. Brought to you by the folks of Ciao Baby, this fairly new pizza/tapas/Italian eatery is a really cool place to drop in and grab a drink and an app or two at the bar. This place is really, really laid back. The décor is sort of like a modern Italian-beach house environment. I have visited here many times and always sit at the bar for drinks and pizza or an app. Joe the bartender is awesome and always provides the best service hands down! Prato's strength lies in its pizzas and it should since 850 represents the approximate temperature of wood fire ovens used for pizza. There are 10 or so different types of pizzas to choose from. My favorite is the "Street Fair": hot and sweet sausage, peppers, drizzled with hones which is a unique but awesome flavor. Another notable mention is their refreshing tuna tartare which is dressed with an avocado-lime puree and topped with a mango pico de gallo. We decided to check this place out on a Saturday for a more formal sit down experience and try some of their entrees. That was a big mistake and a very different experience from our usual cool bar vibe. We should have left well enough alone. The dining is area is a very awkward arrangement of metal chairs and tables that overcrowds diners on top of one another. Music was blasting at a decibel way to loud to have a conversation due to poor acoustics. Entrees were underwhelming to say the least and were not cheap ($25-$28) for an extremely casual setting. We had to send an appetizer and entree back (cold and not enjoyable) and eventually got one of our entrees taken off the bill. Management was pleasant and understanding though. Listen, I hate to nitpick, so I'll just finish by saying I would definitely return to sit at the bar for some drinks and a pizza but that's as far it goes. Ciao baby. read more

I revisited this restaurant with two of my girlfriends and forgot how much we all loved it! I ordered their grilled chicken pesto pizza with cauliflower crust and it did not disappoint. Their unique menu creations are all amazing and none of us had anything we didn't LOVE. We split two desserts as well and I only wish we had more room in our stomachs to try more food! I'm quite obsessed with this place. i've only been here a handful of times but every time i was not disappointed. they have an amazing vegan and gluten free variety making it the perfect place to go with a group of friends - there's something for everyone! I've been to both brunch and dinner a few times and maaaan is their brunch amazing. The mimosas are on point and they have some of the best home fries around here (super crispy on the outside and not overly seasoned). they have amazing french fries too (definitely recommend the fry sampler - they have one on each menu!) the drinks are always strong as well and they have a great variety (recommend the hot girl summer). honestly i'd give over 5 stars if i could. Plus everyone has always been so nice. whenever i call to make a reservation they are so sweet and cheery. And any time a server comes to drop something at our table or pick up plates we're done with they're funny or just overall nice. My friends wanted another green tea shot the other night and i said no and the server goes "it's like juice, it's just tea, c'mon" and you know what? he was right so i got the green tea shot and it was amazing. My husband and I shared the thai calamari, wings with sriracha honey, and the drunken burrata pizza.
