TERRIBLE! I came to this place because of the praise "prati" was getting. I don't even know what name of the lady I got was. BUT i went two times and got the same lady (I believe in 2nd chances) and she was at the end last chair both times so I guess that's her section. First of all she's super rough, it hurt like hell. not smooth at all She didn't listen to what I wanted. My eyebrows were left uneven. Very unhappy and a shame I still can't find someone who can get my eyebrows right. read more

I have been going to Prati since January 2015 and I absolutely adore her. She treats her work like an art and that's pretty uncommon to find in a person in the beauty industry. I stumbled into this place because it was close to work and I needed to get my eyebrows threaded for a special occasion. I have work and school all week so I don't have a lot of time to get myself made up. It was empty when I got there and like most people, I was really skeptical about the place and unsure. Prati greeted me with a warm welcome and lead me over to the chair so she can start working on my eyebrows. My pain tolerance is pretty low but Prati made my experience painless! I've had my eyebrows done at other places before and I would get teary eyed because it hurt so bad. Prati knew exactly what she was doing and takes very good care of you. She'll pause every once in awhile to make sure you're okay and to let her know if she's hurting you or not. After she finished threading my eyebrows, she applied aloe vera on it to lessen any pains. I also go to Prati for Brazilian waxing. The first time is always painful but I've gone back to her twice after that and the job is quicker and almost painless now. If it's your first time, she only charges $19.99! I highly recommend this place to everyone! It's very clean, well managed, and Prati is an amazing esthetician. A friend of mine recommended I go to Prati to get my eyebrows threaded so I stopped after work yesterday (3.23.15). I got there around 5p and was seen right away. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded in other places and it is usually painful/irritating but Prati was so gentle and cleaned up my eyebrows very nicely. I have recommended her to more than 6 friends and each of them have made her a regular. I had little tears come out of my eyes because it had been so long and she wiped them away for me haha. She took great care in shaping my eyebrows, and she ends it with a nice little forehead massage. Definitely my new go-to threading shop! I used to go to Jody's Threading in Cerritos, which is good as well, but I've been in the market for a threading shop closer to me. I have passed Prati Eyebrow before driving to the Sprouts or Target or even next door at Ten Ren Tea, but never stopped by. So I decided to come here after I realized my eyebrows were in serious need of some reshaping lol. It was on the way home from work, and superb review on Yelp. I was helped right away and I let her know that the last threading place had thinned one eyebrow more than the other and to keep the width, but just to clean up around the brows. I didn't get her name, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Prati. In any case, she still did a great job. She was very detailed and trimmed the brows afterwards. I also got my upper lip done, and she cleaned ever in the area close to my nose....get those hairs!!! $10 for eyebrows and upper lip. If you haven't tried threading before, just give it a shot. I've been recommending it to all my friends, and each time another one goes, they always rave about how nearly painless, quick, and clean threading is! TLDR: $10 for eyebrows and upper lip. Pretty reasonable prices, very detailed threading work. Right next to Ten Ren tea house in the same plaza as Target. Sova is THE BEST. I'm almost kicking myself in the rear for telling you, but you have to ask for her. Definitely my go to threading place! read more
