I came here as a walk-in last week and had a good experience! I went in around 2:00pm and was seen immediately as there was no one else in the salon yet. I got my eyebrows and cheeks threaded. I wish I could remember the name of the lovely lady who serviced me but she was as gentle as possible, patient when I needed a small break (my cheeks were so sensitive!) and made quick work of the hair removal so we could be done faster! I enjoyed the soothing aloe they put on my eyebrows because my skin is sooo sensitive to hair removal, my skin was bright red afterwards! That is no fault of the threader though, that's just something my skin does. I will definitely be coming back the next time that I want my eyebrows threaded. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here for several years now. My go to threader is Sara. I have gotten my eyebrows done by other threaders at this location but it has been a hit or miss. I have learned my lesson and have stuck with Sara. She is quick and provides the cleanest threading jobs. read more

Avoid this place at all costs - I couldn't get an appointment with my usual place for a full face threading so I thought why not try something new. Big mistake. The lady (not Sara as someone else had asked for Sara while I was there) was so rough and made me BLEED and didn't even have the decency to say anything. I had to ask her if I am bleeding and she didn't offer any sort of explanation or even apologize. I have threaded my brows for 10 years now. I have never had such bad service. It was horrible and she tried hiding the fact that I was bleeding at first. She didn't even try to apologize or offer me a discount. I will absolutely not be returning. read more

I've been to other Brow Mantra locations; however, this was my first time at the Fullerton location. I came as a walk-in on a Friday afternoon. The shop was pretty empty, so I was seen almost right away. Overall, the service was okay. My eyebrows came out just as expected, but the experience was definitely lackluster compared to other locations. The staff member helping me was efficient but felt very aggressive. It wasn't until the thread had snapped that the pressure was applied differently (and came to the same result). I don't know if perhaps it was due to a small rush as there were two parties waiting after me, but I definitely was hoping the service would be the same at all locations. The care and consideration I've received at other locations do make me want to plan around going elsewhere. Maybe this was a one-time fluke...and since this location is the closest to me, I would definitely come back in a pinch--and maybe take an Advil beforehand! read more

I usually come here and do my eyebrows with Sara but I got them done about 3 months ago and whoever did them did it so painfully that one of my eyebrows is now missing hair bc of how harsh she threaded them and on top of that one of is more rounded then arched and it completely throws my face off .. I've been trying to grow them out and it doesn't seem like it's going to grow anytime soon /: but my girl Sara always does them nice I guess I have to wait a really long time now to see how they grow out read more

Love getting my eyebrows done here! They were able to save my eyebrows! I had horrible super thin eyebrows and Jeena revived them. I've heard Jeena is no longer working there :( but, Sara Is amazing too! They are very detailed and take their time. Jeena And Sara are the best. I went yesterday to get a full face threading. My normal gal isn't there anymore, so Mary was my gal. Well within minutes I should have stopped her. She was so rough. I never experience much pain when I get threading done. Maybe a little on the lip area but yesterday it was 'Ouch' the entire time & my eyes watered nonstop throughout. I asked to touch up my brows & clean them up. When she was all done & gave me a mirror to look at myself I was bummed as my brows were thinner. When I got home and looked in my own mirror I see she missed spots on my cheek & lip. I paid $30 & gave her a generous tip. I wanted to go back today & have her or another gal get the spots that were missed. I decided well, live & learn & from this point on go to another threading place. I plan to go to Sai next time. read more

The first time I came, I was super pleased with how my brows turned out. Every time since, my brows have turned out so crappy. There's no shape whatsoever, and strays left all over my eyelids. I attached a photo. What is this? I have to go home and pluck and shape it myself. I'm upset that I spent my time and money here :/ Pros: fast service, friendly workers, hand sanitizer/lotion massage included, cheap Cons: extreme lack of attention to detail! my brows look really gross :( read more

Brow Mantra in Fullerton is super dope. The waiting area is spacious and clean. But what really sold me about this place is the quality. I can't stress just how important it is that Jeena and only Jeena is allowed to mess with my brows. There were times when I was out of town or out of the country that I couldn't have gone to her so I went elsewhere and I always ended up disappointed. I would very much rather have messed up eyebrows for an entire month than have anyone else touch my eyebrows aside from Jeena. She knows what she's doing, she's professional, and very kind. She has a warm disposition and very welcoming. All the ladies in the shop (the receptionist included) are super nice too. I always leave Brow Mantra satisfied and happy. If you're visiting for the first time, I advise you call to make an appointment. They take walk-ins but sometimes the wait gets to be a bit long. read more

I was not happy when couple months back I found out Gina was no longer working there. Then I found a hidden gem-Mary my new found love. She is amazing and Perfect threader. Five STARS But the downside it the store has raised prices crazily for eyebrows. For this reason I am giving 3 stars. I feel their prices are ridiculous $12 for eyebrow. read more

I really like coming to this place to get my eyebrows done but ever since they reopened the prices here have gone up really high due to the closure of COVID-19. The prices weren't given until the end of service. I paid $34 for lip, eyebrow, and sides and I still decided to tip $4. I don't think I'll be coming back. I don't believe the customer should be paying more due To your shop being closed. read more

Brow Mantra LOCATION: This place is kind of hard to get into! Depending on the direction you're coming from, you have to take a u-turn to get into it (since no lefts can be made). The parking lot is also very limited. However, not too bad, location isn't that much of a problem and inside it is very clean and simple. SERVICE: Not terrible, not good. I got Sara, which I was happy about because so many others recommended her. However, I don't think she did a great job. She made my eyebrows more uneven than they were before (and I do admit they were uneven), instead of evening it out or just telling me I need to grow certain parts out. Also, Sara is not very friendly. Definitely not rude or mean, but just not friendly... It made the threading experience kind of awkward. The service was very fast I was in and out for $7 with Yelp service (eyebrows are $9 regularly) + $2 tip (not because she did great tho just to be polite). OVERALL: would not return. I'd rather pay $2 more and go to Pure Threading on Euclid with my girl Gita who is awesome and super friendly!! The only reason I came here was because she was fully booked today and needed mine done ASAP before I went out of town :/ PSA Gita used to work here, but doesn't anymore which is why there are other reviews about her on this page read more

Very happy with their service. I checked yelp first to read the reviews lol I was at work and I didn't want to wait until Friday to get my eyebrows done because I know days like those get really busy. So I called before I went on my break to ask about their wait time and the young lady said there wasn't any wait so I went 15 min after and only waited like a minute or two and it was my turn. I love that she gave me some hand sanitizer and she also put some on her hands which was lovely before starting. I also liked that there's one person handling the transactions and not the same lady who did your brows because other places will get cash and then touch someones face after lol. Well as she was doing one eyebrow she showed me on the mirror if that's how I liked it so after I approved she went on and she also kept giving me the mirror which was nice. After I was done when I went to pay I liked that I can add the tip to my credit card and they will take out cash for the person who did my eyebrows and that is a plus for me because I hardly ever carry cash and because I was at work I didn't have time to go to the bank. Anyway, I will be back for sure. Fast service I was back to work on time to clock back in from lunch haha. read more

Seriously horrible. I have been going here for years and since I was in rush I decided to go with someone new. I came in with full eyebrows and was specific in what I wanted since I have never got them done with Sarah, but she was quick as she was in a hurry and left my eyebrows extremely thin. I do not recommend coming here unless you expect to get the opposite of what you asked for. read more

I live in Cypress, but I've been coming here to see Sarah for years so I make the drive. I called hours before to make an appointment at 6. I came in at a respectable time prior to 6, but I was never taken at my apt time. I waited 25 mins, and finally spoke up to have someone else help me because what is the point of an appointment if you're going to be taken as a walk in and wait. read more

Because I liked the design so much, I made a second appointment to give another artist a try. This second appointment was with Ellen. She was sooo rough when it came down to removing the polish and cleaning and cutting the cuticles. One of my cuticles started bleeding a lot and she just used the dust to stop the bleeding but did not apologize once. I let it go. But after getting home, I noticed my cuticles and fingers were so tender and red. I decided to let time heal but it's been a week and my right thumb is still swollen and tender. It's painful to touch. I told the owner and Ellen and after some back and forth, they finally did apologize. However it left kind of a sour taste in my mouth because it just seemed like they brushed it off thinking 10 percent off the next appointment would really make up for the pain I'm having in my finger. Not sure if I will come back. The owner asked me to try another artist but how do I prevent this from happening a third time?

The woman who helped me was focused and gentle. I was worried about pain or getting small cuts afterward, but thankfully I barely felt any pain and my eyebrows looked great afterward. Once she finished, she asked if I wanted aloe vera applied, which I appreciated. She gently rubbed aloe on my eyebrows and even gave me a mini massage around the area, which was super relaxing. Those places, even when I would consistently get wax, never had the consistent workers. I decided to try Sea Spa which is just a 5 minute drive fr my house here in GG! And i am so happy that I decided to do so. Nancy did my Brazilian and was very detail oriented and quick. She used the hot wax and paper method with small sections. I appreciate the small sections she did! The salon it self was very inviting, beautiful, and relaxing. They offer other services like body and scalp massages, mani and pedis, and even lash extensions and semi permanent makeup. Cannot wait to schedule my next session!
