This honestly makes me upset to have to do this. I've had relatively good experiences here but this last time was absolutely awful. The lady who did my brows today was neither of the normal two I see/have done my brows before. She rushed and took no consideration of my face shape or brow symmetry. They start in two different spots on my face and are going in completely different angles. I understand "sisters not twins" but these looked like adopted siblings. First time here on June 20th. The salon itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a soothing ambiance, which immediately put me at ease. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable of the trade. I got the full face threading service. What I noticed the most was the attention to detail. She carefully shaped my eyebrows and meticulously threaded my entire face. I did not get any cuts from the thread. She was very gentle and my face felt very smooth after. So I went in July 16 to get my eyebrows threaded. When I got there, there were two ladies. They asked if I had an appointment and i said no but there was only one lady getting her eyebrows done so the other lady took me in. she took my temperature and then told me to sign in on tablet. I just wanted a eyebrow threading. It was $10, which isn't too bad but i could have gotten to other places for cheaper and better service but i choose this place since i was already there and didn't want to driver up somewhere else. that is on me for staying there but whatever's. i go and sit on chair one and a lady with birthmarks on her body and face asked me if i wanted a clean up only. i never got her name which i regret never asking but she did have birthmarks all over her face and body. She starts doing my eyebrows. She started on my right eyebrow and when she tells me to hold my eyebrows I guess i wasn't holding it right and so she took my hand and fixed it herself. she gave me a mirror and i checked it and it looked fine. (mind you i hardly have any eyebrow hairs so i was growing my eyebrows out and my eyebrows are light) she went on to do my left eyebrow. she was going too fast and as i was about to tell her she was hurting me her thread broke. she gave me the mirror and it didn't look sharp on the tail as the other eyebrow did i asked her if she saw the little hairs she left and if she can take out VERY LITTLE hair and she was shaking her head down the whole time making it seem like she understood what i wanted. she started to fix them and then she gave me the mirror and when i saw my eyebrows i wanted to cry. my left eyebrow she left with a high thin arch and my right one was straight and thicker. i have never written a yelp review but this is the only time where i felt i had to. when i saw my eyebrows i told her that's not what i wanted and that i said very little. i told her she told me she understood what i wanted and would do it for me but it clearly wasn't the case. then she proceeded to tell me if i wanted her to fix my right brow and i told her no i don't want nothing done to my brows anymore. She only looked at me and said not a single word. Till then she asked me if i wanted aloe vera on my eyebrows but at this point i was too mad and i just wanted to leave, so i said no and i go to the register. The lady that did my eyebrows just went to the back as the other lady took my payment. Like i said $10 for a terrible service but i paid the $10 and then asked for my receipt and was told that they don't give receipts!! How does a business not give receipts out?? I told her i needed my receipt and she told me card gives receipts but it is 0.75 cents for using a card. I proceed to tell her i'm not going to pay more for using my card and i wanted a receipt as for evidence i paid $10 cash. so she told me the only thing she can do is write it on a buisness card that i paid $10. The lady who did my eyebrows was no where to be seen so then i asked the lady doing my payment if she can write her name down on the business card as just so i know who took my payment and she didn't want to. So i asked her for her name and her name was Esmi. They had terrible service and terrible workers. Plz save ur money and go elsewhere were they don't mess up ur eyebrows! When i left i got to my car and i also notice the lady who did my brows had cut me when her thread ripped. I'm really disappointed and angry. read more

I have been coming to Ana Threading for a few years now. I recently moved out of the area but continue to drive 20 minutes out of my way to come here. I always leave happy and looking way better than when I walked in. Ana, the owner, is super sweet and the customer service is great. Samina has been doing my brows since she started at this location a few months ago, and she keeps them looking amazing. I get so many compliments on her work. She is only at this location on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so I plan accordingly. Eyebrows are $8, but you always get good work done, and they have an awesome rewards program. After 9, you get 1 free...and periodically get a 25% off text. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows! I am a loyal customer and will continue to be for years to come. read more

My wife comes here for eye brow threading. She was yelled at by the owner for coming in @ 7:45PM. They close at 8:00PM. They are very rude and unprofessional communicating with customers. Threading in hawaii is rare and expensive so I always try and find places on the mainland. I was a little apprehensive about this place after reading the reviews, but Esme (short gal with glasses) did a great job with my eye brows and especially with my upper lips. I went in this month of January. I was very dissatisfied . They have a short girl that did not know how to trim eyebrows. She kept stopping and asking her coworker for answers . I also guided her in the result and had to ask her to trim around more. I come here because I love the service but ever since Samina started working here, she is the reason I come. She is here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
