She helped us put our ideas, wants, and needs on paper which led to seamless execution. The food at our reception was delicious. Pranzi was even able to create a Vegan meal literally site on scene for someone who had recently changed their food habits. I still get compliments on the food months later. I have no words for how thorough, accommodating, professional, and friendly the staff at our party was. My husband and I used Pranzi to cater and organize our wedding a few weeks ago on Cape Cod at Bourne Farm! From start to end, they were prompt, responsive, professional, understanding and a great partner in helping make my vision come to life. When I walked into the barn and tent on our wedding day, I was truly speechless. It was everything I ever imagined and more, and that was largely because of the hard work the staff at Pranzi put in to help make my ideas a reality. My daughter wanted to have a special dinner with nine friends to celebrate their high school graduation. It has been a challenging senior year, to say the least, and they wanted to do something special. My daughter selected Pranzi knowing that I have never been disappointed with them. Pranzi catered a meal at our home that was outstanding. Delicious, hot and plenty of food. All details were arranged flawlessly between my daughter and their staff. The gentleman who delivered the food could not have been nicer and kept his social distancing as well. We highly recommend Pranzi for catering of any size gathering or celebration. I was driven off the road by a Pranzi driver. It was on the same road as my office building (so I am very familiar with the lanes, traffic lights, etc.). He/she not only turned into my lane/ my car (without using a directional), forcing me to drive in the parking lane, but as i sounded the horn so he/she would stop driving at me, he/she kept cutting across yet another lane forcing me to slam on my brakes or else he/she would have hit me or i would have had to drive on the side walk. The driver then proceeded to drive down the parking lane, which is illegal then after 5 seconds turn back into the driving lane and just continued on driving. It not like the driver had to make a last minute turn, he/she was just driving all over the road/ lanes for no reason. I have it all on video too, which I can share. Pranzi van #6 licence plate 62504 on 12-14-2017 at 7:34 AM I reported the driver to Pranzi using both email and facebook with the video as proof, and they haven't even had the decency to respond let alone apologize. Either the driver was high or stupid but regardless, Pranzi should be drug testing their drivers and having them take a simple IQ tests because at least one of those escaped them. Their management apparently needs some customer service training as well since they have not even responded. If the company can't do something as simple as hire competent drivers, I can even imagine how horrible their service is since that's by far more difficult to perform properly than drive a van. read more

We used Pranzi Tents for my daughter's wedding in September and could not have been more pleased. We asked them to come back for a second site visit before the wedding which they did without hesitation. Their final response was "we're going to get that tent in here, don't worry". It was a 40'x80' tent with cathedral window side panels and it was absolutely beautiful. Clean and bright white. We included a stage and dance floor, round tables, chairs, high tops, farm tables and a bar. All arrived in great condition. We needed to make a few logistical changes on the fly as they set up which they did with a "no problem" approach. Tent raising was fantastic to watch, and the team that came to set up worked together like a fine tuned machine. Tent was lit beautifully, and they even hung my mother's chandelier over the dance floor. Customer service was very accommodating from beginning to end. We actually invited our coordinator to come for cocktails and dancing after dinner! I'm a perfectionist and I can't imagine how anything could have gone more smoothly. Pranzi catered our wedding in 2013. While the food was delicious I was horrified at the service and arrangements that I ordered. I worked with Lisa on my floral arrangements. They were suppose to have bouquets on 1/2 tables and little tea lights and small arrangements on others. I was very surprised to walk in and not see one of the arrange to I ordered but something w lanterns on the tables. While they were not terrible they were not what I ordered. The servers were being looked for on another occasion and were in the back eating our food and drinking our drinks. No wonder we couldn't find anyone. Then while it was towards the end of the night I watched on of the servers rip a drink out of a guest of mines hands and cut her off. While they have the liquor license and the right to cut someone off- they should not have done that in the middle of my wedding reception. This place has forever been tainted to me, and I wouldn't recommend them for anyone's wedding. read more

Pranzi did the catering after my aunt's funeral. They put out a lovely spread and did a great job of replenishing everything promptly without being intrusive, but to me it was more important that they did the little things. They made sure to transfer all of the leftovers to foil pans to make them easier to store. I even saw one of the caterers washing wine glasses that weren't from the catering. Given how difficult funerals can be. it's nice to have good people taking care of those little things. read more

Pranzi did an amazing job with our wedding on 6/3/17. I was an out of state bride, but they worked with me every step of the way to keep things on track. They provided the food,music, and flowers. Everything was beautiful and the DJ kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We also had some guests with dietary restrictions and Pranzi did an amazing job catering for them, and even brought their dessert directly to them which they all appreciated. My mother in law can't eat gluten so she hasn't been able to eat bread rolls in some time but she really loved Pranzi's gluten free versions! Nicole was amazing to work with and kept everything organized and running smoothly throughout the wedding. read more

Pranzi has catered multiple lunches at my office and they are good. The service is prompt the staff is warm and helpful with whatever we need. Their macaroni salad is a crowd pleaser at my office and the salads are always fresh. The only qualm I have is that their sandwiches/wraps tend to be a little plain. It's good to have the classics but it's also nice to have something a little different. Another odd thing but this is caterers in general is the delivery charge. It's always over 20 bucks to deliver a lunch (so a tray of sandwiches, two salads and some drinks) 20 min away. For a large banquet or event I understand but for a simple lunch it ends up racking up the price. Just something to keep in mind. read more

We worked with the Pranzi team on several areas of our wedding. First, we had an initial tasting with them. We decided to go with another vendor, as it wasn't a good fit for us price-wise, the food was only OK compared to the other vendors we tasted, and we didn't get a good feeling from Lisa (initial feeling - not very nice, and doesn't seem like she would give us good customer service). We then used Pranzi for a rental...that was a bit of a mess. We found them to be disorganized, somewhat unresponsive, and not that helpful so our initial uneasy feeling was confirmed. Out of all the vendors we worked with (and there were a lot of them!) we would recommend them all -- seriously ALL of them -- EXCEPT Pranzi because of all the unnecessary stress they caused us. read more

I was referred by a friend to check out Pranzi. I was looking for a caterer for my wedding, and was super excited. To my disbelief upon meeting the owner of the company I was more than disappointed. She was rude, impersonal and rushed me to the point where I wanted to leave anyway. As a new bride to be I left in tears. We had our wedding at Blithewold in Bristol, RI on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. The list of vendor's the venue would allow had about 8 names, all the top caterers in New England, including Pranzi. My now wife and I reached out to every one because we had specific requests about the type of party we wanted to throw. We didn't feel it was too over the top but what we wanted to put together was a unique family style steak house dinner. Pranzi was the only caterer that didn't say no to a single thing we asked. They were excited to work on a more unique reception and walked us through the process from day one. Even as I had my first phone call with Lisa explaining what we had in mind she was already offering up ideas to help round everything out. Not only did they handle the food, which was the best wedding food we and several guests have ever had, but they handled the flowers and day of planning. We had a lot of DIY projects to hand off to them that we wanted displayed throughout the reception and they handled everything perfectly. Nicole, who walked us through our final months and was on site for the actual reception was nothing short of spectacular. For the quality of "product" we thought the price was extremely fair. (Family and friends who guessed at cost were well over) When we asked about a cigar roller and whiskey bar they booked it for us. When we asked for thick cut porterhouse steaks sliced and presented with the bone it came out exactly as you'd expect at Peter Luger's. The only thing I can't give them credit for (I don't think) is the fact that there was supposed to be a tropical storm on our day but somehow it was sunny with a light breeze. I could go on for a long time as to how incredible an experience it was, as could all of our guests because they still are telling us. Pranzi was our wedding venue's exclusive caterer for our wedding this summer. I was told by the venue that they would not have a problem customizing to fit any budget which wasn't necessarily accurate but not Pranzi's fault at all. Being a recent college grad and my husband being in the military Lisa did her best to fit our very limited budget. The food was great, our tasting was a lot of fun and they presented our food beautifully. I had found a cake on Pinterest that I wanted and they duplicated it perfectly. You definitely get what you pay for with Pranzi. My only complaint is that sometimes in the appointments I felt like just a number on their long list of weddings. In my final details appointment I was really excited about the centerpieces I had made myself and all of the work I had put into planning most of the big day myself and I just felt like there could have been a bit more enthusiasm. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pranzi for catering an event. read more

Pranzi hosted an event for the nonprofit, Child & Family. Pranzi provided both the food, the bar, and the staff for the event under a tent in front of its facility. Everything was really good, including the atmosphere. More importantly, Pranzi should be commended for its generosity. I can't thank Lisa enough for being there every step of the way for my wedding in September of last year. And when I mean "every step of the way" I mean, TWO years of planning while supporting me and holding my hand through the most disastrous hotel manager and venue director experience a bride could ever fear before her wedding day. Lisa took the time to meet with me to go over menu options when it was convenient for me while also meeting me in Newport to confront the hotel manager that tried to keep my $1K+ deposit, when I was entitled to it back b/c I cancelled my plans of having my wedding party staying there 11 months prior to our wedding date. It all worked out but I am truly grateful that Lisa was there to help me through it all! In short, the food was amazing, the team was great and the support and patience I received from Lisa and her staff was outstanding. By the time the big day came I wanted Lisa to be there as a guest at the wedding! At the end of it all, I can't say enough about how great Pranzi Catering was. They gave us different food at our wedding than we paid for, insisted that it was the RIGHT food, ignored my emails and calls, and even told us the owner was on vacation when we went in person, which we later found out was untrue. Pranzi did the catering, floral arrangements, favors, decor, and day of event coordination for our wedding at Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island. They did a wonderful job with everything and we enjoyed working with them. Pranzi was one of 5 vendors contracted to supply our venue, and we are so happy with our choice. The biggest factor in our decision was the appeal of the "one stop shopping" vendor-- all the rentals, flowers, and even photo booth all in one place. Separate contracts are made up for catering, rentals, and flowers but you're still paying the final amount to a single vendor, which makes life so much easier. The food was fantastic and we had compliments from many guests about how great everything was, from the hors d'oeuvres to the desserts. The day of coordinator (included) went above and beyond, bringing us food during the cocktail hour and keeping everything running smoothly throughout the night. Our contact person leading up to the wedding was Donna, and she checked in with us on a regular basis, was responsive to emails, had great insight and advice, and was easy to work with. Even though she was not able to be our day of coordinator due to a personal obligation, her attention to detail and documentation made it easy for Amy, the day-of person to run the show without a hitch. We would definitely recommend Pranzi to anyone planning a wedding or any other event. read more

We retained Pranzi Catering for our daughter's wedding in the fall of 2013. Our daughter wanted stations and made her selections. We attended a tasting that went well, selected linens, and signed the contract for both a rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception We had retained Lisa to be our coordinator. The rehearsal dinner was OK, except the linens we ordered were not the ones on the tables. Fortunately, we arrived in time to oversee the changing of the linens to those we had ordered. To our dismay, Lisa introduced us to a new coordinator the day of the wedding. The reception was a disaster. The food stations were not adequately supplied and we were terribly embarrassed that our guests were standing at stations that were empty. Our daughter had a made a request for food items they would like to take with them at the end of the night. Those were not provided. Because much of the food did not get served to our guests, the fridge at the event location was completely filled with the leftover food. Thank heaven we did not use them for flowers! WE contacted Lisa following the disastrous reception and she asked what she could do. She missed her chance. I had not planned to write a review, but after two years, our daughter still comments on her disappointment in the reception. Otherwise the wedding was just beautiful and so much fun. She turned a huge fiasco with another vendor and made our vision into a reality without being asked. I'm simply amazed and beyond thankful I chose Pranzi as our caterer. Your entire staff was completely professional, organized, warm and welcoming and extremely attention to detail. Nicole was there every step of the way and made our day go as smoothly as I could have planned and always there whenever you needed something. Not only did we appreciate Pranzi's services but our guests raved of the quality of the food and genuine caring and compassion all employees portrayed throughout the entire evening. My bridesmaid also brought to my attention her children (our flower girls) were given their own special meal and brought out prior to dinner service which was so sweet and thoughtful.
