We ordered Thanksgiving dinner from them. Everything was terrific. Easy to heat up with specific directions. All the food - turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, apple pies, and gravy - tasted great. Extremely nice people - we will definitely order from them again.

I know that I have reviewed Emily's Catering Group before but had to give Rick and his crew a shout out for another incredible food experience. I am usually spoiled by my Wife's incredible cooking on Thanksgiving but it didn't make sense to do all of that cooking for 1 this year (she doesn't eat Meat) and it was just the 2 of us. Rick Kerzner at Emily's Catering Group provided an masterful Classic Turkey Dinner for me and my In-Laws . After following the easy reheat instructions, The turkey was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection with incredible flavor, the green beans and dinner roll were as fresh as could be. The stuffing, mashed and sweet potatoes were spectacular. Then to top it off was an apple pie with the nicest crust and filling. If you don't have plans to to hold an event any time soon but still would like to experience the best catered food in New England, Emily's has been thinking outside the box during these crazy COVID times by offering "Carry Away Food" Specials as well as intimate dinners in their tasting room. I highly recommend that you give them a call!

I just can't say enough wonderful things about Emily's Catering Group. Cheryl was wonderful to work with. She came up with a great menu for my mother's Garden Tea Party surprise party. The appetizers were amazing and the grilled chicken with salsa and orzo salad were delightful. The staff were very professional and exceeded our expectations. The whole night was wonderful and will be talked about for a long time. I would highly recommend them and I'm looking for an excuse to have another party for them to cater.

Veggie wrap. That is grilled cauliflower. So delicious

Again, a not great experience at Nuchies…read more I had to attend a meeting for my service organization. The bar experience was abysmal! A simple order - Johnny Walker Red on the rocks, and a whiskey sour. Bartender looks at me and grabs the bottle of Jack Daniels. I explained, no, Johnny Walker Red. I pointed to the bottle on the shelf. She proceeds to grab a bottle of vodka. Finally, she understands Johnny Walker, and asks which one - "I have two kind." Finally, she pours the correct liquor and moves on to the whiskey sour. First, she fills a collins glass with ice, and grabs the Jack Daniels again. I told her Seagrams. She gave me a blank look, and grabs the bottle of Johnny Red. "No! Seagrams 7." I pointed to the bottle of Seagrams. She gave me a dirty look, and pours it into the glass. "And coke?" she asked. "No. Whiskey Sour. Sour Mix." Another blank expression, and she picked a button at random. My friend took the drink and tasted it. Nothing like a whiskey sour - she put tonic water in it. Buffet food was ok. Green beans were more gray than green, and the shredded carrots mixed in were more white than orange. Other than that, everything else was acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was the lack of attention to the room. The two servers stood at the foot of the buffet table and watched as everyone went through the line. Some people went up to the bar, and they finally had to call the bartender over to make drinks (good luck with that!) It was well into our business part of the meeting (about 45 minutes later) when they started to remove the stacks of empty plates from tables, interrupting the speaker. After that, they broke down the buffet, clanging the chafers as they cleaned them up and carried them out. Usually, this would be done when the room was empty. It was a major distraction. As the meeting dragged on, the servers kept peeking out from where they were hiding, looking at their watches, and shaking their heads. Obviously, they wanted to be someplace else. If I wasn't required to attend these meetings, I would spend my time at a place where I can get my drink order correct, and I don't have to worry about the papers I'm working from falling into my dirty dishes from dinner. I don't know why the experience has changed so much from when I first attended meetings there a couple of years ago. New staff, maybe? Everything seems to be such an effort for the people working the event, and they really seemed miserable. Maybe put on servers who enjoy the job?

Long-time fan, but disappointed with the new Italian combo portions…read more I've been coming here for years and have always loved the Italian combo grinder -- the bread is still fantastic (crusty outside, soft inside, just right), the long hot peppers pack that perfect kick, and the overall flavor profile is still spot-on. The shop looks great after the recent updates under new ownership -- cleaner, brighter, more inviting space. That said, I was really let down on my first visit since the change. The grinder I got for lunch had noticeably less meat than before. What used to be a hearty, well-stacked sandwich with generous layers of cold cuts now felt skimpy on the protein -- probably about half (or less) the amount I was used to. The other components (cheese, veggies, hot sauce) were fine, but the lack of meat made it feel more like a veggie-heavy sub than the satisfying Italian combo I always counted on. Everything else was good -- friendly service, quick prep, fresh ingredients -- so I'm hoping this was just an off day or an adjustment period with the new team. I'd love to see the portions return to their old generous standard, because the foundation here is still strong. 2.5/5 stars from me right now. Still my go-to deli in the area, but I'll be watching to see if the meat comes back in full force. Keep up the great bread and peppers!
