My son hired Lise Yeager for a birthday Party for my husband and myself at our home. She and her assistants made this experience, a new one for us, a dream. I would heartily recommend her. The menu was superb, the service exceptional, and the clean-up, immaculate. They left my home spotless. I wished a grabbed a few pictures of them making the food but I did get some of the food. Pictures show the grilled romaine salad with poached pears, walnuts abs farmers cheese with a marvelous dressing, and our dinner of petite filet with tarragon butter and scallops with vegetable napoleons. Lise recently created an outstanding 4-course dinner for my in-laws' 63rd Anniversary. From appetizer to entrée, the meal was absolutely amazing. Her menu was flawless which she personally created for the party. The first course was a salad of mixed greens with crumbled blue cheese, pomegranates, craisins, pecans and a raspberry vinaigrette that was out of this world. The appetizer were petite crab cakes with a spicy remoulade. She out did herself with the incredible entrée consisting of slow braised short ribs in a mushroom red wine demi glaze. The beef literally fell off the bone! Lise also included a loaf of good, crusty bread which she added roasted garlic, butter, olive oil and fresh parsley. I'm so glad we had the bread because we all used it to mop up the tasty red wine demi glaze that accompanied the short ribs. She also included two side dishes which were garlic whipped potatoes and sauté green beans and tomatoes. I can't express how amazing Lise is as a chef. She is impeccable with her culinary skills and is a delight to work with. The whole experience was just wonderful. I really wish I was able to write a better review of this caterer, but I have to honestly say my experience almost derailed my event. I hired Chef Lise to cater a baby shower because I was flying in from out of state and wanted someone who would handle everything about the food. I was paying quite a bit ($40/person for a lunch), but decided it was worth it to not have to worry about the food at all. During our planning discussions, she told me she would bring everything on serving platters so I didn't have to worry about a thing and then would come back the next day to pick up her platters. Well, when she showed up everything was just in to-go containers. When I mentioned that she had said she would handle that part her response was "yea well we have a lot of parties today so they're all being used." She was basically saying that my party was not as important as the others. Not to mention she didn't bother to forewarn me that she would not be keeping her promise and I would need to handle the serving platters myself. I had to scramble around a house that I was just a guest in to find anything that would work. I also had to do quite a bit of the setup myself, which I hadn't budgeted time for. Then, when she was almost finished the beverages she brought were only half a pitcher for 10 people. That's not even enough for everyone to have one glass but her response when I asked if there was more was "I didn't expect this to be a big group of drinkers." For $40 a head, everyone should get AT LEAST one drink. That doesn't make us big drinkers. She did end up going to get one more bottle of wine, which I was grateful for because we definitely would have run out otherwise. To have this experience kick off the shower put a really sour taste in my mouth. I felt like a just wasted a lot of money to get sub-par service. The food itself WAS good, but just be prepared to handle everything else yourself. read more

Her meal was not only delicious but also expertly planned, professionally taught, and cooked to perfection.
