My husband and I like to pamper ourselves when we're on vacation, but we don't like to break the bank--so we headed here for couples massages. It is NOT cheap but it is moderately priced for being Key West and in comparison to the outrageous prices nearby. You walk into a little jungle oasis house decorated in soothing tones and teak wood, with Buddhas abounding and soft tinkling music playing in the background. It's a very calming surrounding. The masseuses seemed very nice and walked us to the room where we'd disrobe and lay on the tables. The quick intake session beforehand was a little odd but helpful in letting them know what parts to massage. We had a full hour massage. My hubby's male masseuse was much more experienced and better than mine was. My masseuse was a little on the rough side for me and she seemed less experienced, but overall--it was relaxing and felt nice for the muscles to be worked on. Found this spa via a google search, and checked it out. It looked pretty good, so we made our appointments. My boyfriend and I got 60 minute deep tissue massages done by John, the owner. His hands and techniques were amazing. I've never had a massage that was so relaxing. He was very professional and definitely a master at what he does. As for the facility itself, it was calming, clean, and cozy. It's situated right off Duval st, which makes it very convenient to get to. The receptionist/manager was very friendly and helpful. We came here on a honeymoon, and I decided to try Prana spa Based on yelp reviews. I'm so happy we did. We booked a 30 minute body scrub followed by 60 minute massage and the couple's room which is located upstairs. The staff Is extremely respectful of your privacy and so friendly. I personally do not like the smell of coconut which is always in the body scrubs, so they made me a custom one without any coconut. Then we went into a Large shower to wash off the scrub. Best massage of my life. Husband and I did a couples massage and we both had an amazing experience. The spa is very cozy, zen, and comfortable. I can't remember their names but the therapists were just lovely, they listened well and were consistent to what we wanted and didn't want in the massage. My therapist checked in with me a few times during the massage and even picked up on when I was cold and needed a blanket and when my neck was a bit strained and I needed the headrest adjusted. It was also very well priced for a tourist hot spot ($280 for couples massage compared to other locations at $340 or $380) and easy to reserve - we got in on the same day. Prana has been my go to relaxation haven since moving here last summer. I am a big fan of deep tissue massage and Prana never fails to deliver. Ahhhh-mazing is all I can say. I've heard how great this place is, but never got the chance to book an appointment. This time, I did. I am SO glad too. I booked an hour massage and guess what? It's actually an hour long! Sally was my therapist and she listened to what I told her and tailored the session to my needs. I've had my fair share of really amazing spa experiences, so I am a pretty tough sell in this area. I go out of my way to find different, off the beaten path types of places for a massage or spa day. My massage was very thorough and my therapist seemed to really know what he was doing. I liked the yoga/buddha decor and calming environment. My only complaint was that the oil used smelled a little bit rancid. Other than that, I really enjoyed this place. Also, BOOK AHEAD EARLY...at least a week in advance. I went here about five years ago. I was surprised by my friends and family as a birthday gift. It was a most divine experience. The atmosphere and setting is just absolutely perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. I had "The Raj" spa treatment. Prana Glow, which was followed by their spa facial,and followed with a full body massage. It was concluded by the Shirodhara oil pour. Very friendly and calming staff. Words can not even express how AWFUL their customer service is and their approach to handling business is terrible. Do yourself a favor and walk down the block to Island Massage!!! These people are a bunch of crooks! I had booked an appointment and was NOT informed about their 24 hour cancellation policy. My friend came down with the flu and was unable to make it to the appointment. I called first thing and made it clear that we would not be coming. They CLAIM they decided to keep the therapists available for us because "once we we told of the policy, we would feel forced to come and that's only fair for their therapists." When I called to reiterate we would not be coming, I was treated very rudely by Nikki the receptionist who couldn't make a decision without texting the manager. She claimed she would call me right back to give me answer. She did not call. When I called back, the phone miraculously went into voice mail numerous times. When I used my husbands cell with a different area code, Nikki picked up right away. I was told it was my fault and my credit card was charged regardless. BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. Go down the street. They tend to be very detailed and thorough when making reservations, and ask a lot of questions and double check things about 5 times when you first make the reservation but once the reservation is made, that's all you need. Show up on time and be ready to go and it's a delightful place. It is very small but I can't imagine a huge modern spa on Key West...where would it go? I had the mini facial and the foot rejuvenation and it was a nice escape for my first day in Key West. Would definitely go again. read more

When I arrived there was a sign on the door stating the staff would be right back, so I had to cook on the front porch for a bit. Fantastic. Booked a day of swedish massage for my birthday today and it was perfect. Adam was the masseuse and he was very thorough and used just the right level of pressure. I also liked that he didn't use a ton of oil; I was able to go walk around and go about our afternoon not covered in a greasy sheen of massage oil like most places leave you with.
