This small quaint shop in Key West is great to get some quality personal care items that are fun too! The key lime salt scrub was my product of choice. And they are buy one get one 50% off. It is all aloe based. We were here while traveling so the person who helped us gave us a bit more secured packaging so it would not open on the plane home. It worked perfectly. The scrub is nice. The husband was intent on finding some key lime scented after shave so we were happy to stumble across Key West Aloe. They were sampling key lime salt scrub and Derrick immediately offered to have us wash our hands. They were so smooth and yummy smelling. I bought two. We then sampled the aloe and cucumber hydrating facial spray. It was hot and humid (June) and the spray instantly made us feel better. Both my friend and I bought one. As did the guy who came in asking about sun burn relief that we insisted try it. They did not have key lime aftershave but Derrick recommended the key lime moisturizing lotion. He explained the difference between aftershave and lotion and let the husband sample. It smelled incredible so we got that too. Derrick was great, and his customer service is incredible. He was friendly, helpful, patient and a joy to talk to. Will definitely be visiting again on all future visits! read more

For years my daughters and I have purchased KWA products whenever we are in Key West; maybe twice per year. That will stop now. I purchased their eye get/ cream two days ago and opened that container when I returned home yesterday to discover that date printed on the bottom of the jar was 2 years old. We stopped in after reading about this place in the port shopping guide on our cruise. Bright and modern storefront and it didn't​ have any overpowering smells (which you might find at a beauty store). The products are made out of Aloe and other natural ingredients​ and the prices weren't​ terribly expensive. We picked up some shampoo and body spray for our cats. It's labelled​ for Dogs but the cashier said she uses it on her rats. I also love their soaps and Oatmeal Facial Scrub. They have great inexpensive jewelry too. We were recently in Key West as a stop on a cruise, during which one of our fellow passengers recommended we stop by Key West Aloe and check out some of their lotions/products. I'm SO glad I did! I always find lotions to be greasy and over-fragranced, but these were light, and because of the high aloe content, absorb quickly into the skin. Another bonus is they apparently use essential oils instead of artificial fragrances in their products, so you actually smell like mango or key lime instead of perfume. Stumbled onto this fabulous store after returning our bicycles to Island Safari. Unfortunately I realized on day 6 of our trip, coincidentally also our last day, that the body butter I had been using was acting as a magnifying glass for my poor skin and was frying it (as in blisters)! I had purchased some aloe spray elsewhere and on a whim stopped here to check out what they carried. I slathered some ComfortCaine (94% aloe + lidocain) on with tester they had out, and was sold. Since we were flying out, I wanted something I could bring with me on the plane so I settled for the travel size of Aloemax 100 and it was suggested I also buy the Save A Tan. After walking around for a few hours, I realized just how great the ComfortCaine was and went back to puchase some for home. I may have also used some more of the tester along with some Save A Tan :) After leaving, I decided I couldn't live without a larger bottle of the Save A Tan and went back, again, to purchase one. Key West Aloe products are amazing. Their tropical line, in particular the shampoos and conditioners, are truly outstanding. The gentle facial wash and the facial scrub are fabulous. The body lotions are the perfect weight, absorb quickly, and leave my skin heavenly for hours. The only thing keeping me from giving them a five star review is their wretched packaging, incredibly stiff bottles which use massive amounts of plastic. The effort to get the product out of the bottles, particularly the 2 oz size, requires a bizarre combination of jaw bone crushing, contortionism, and Sumo wrestling. When I sent them an email with this observation they offered to send me more plastic (in the form of a pump). No thanks.... how about be true to the Keys and faithful to the oceans and modify your packaging. Key West Aloe, if you do, you will become a world class organization. read more

This store is clean and beautiful, and packed full of good stuff. Key West Aloe products are a little pricey, but they are well worth it. The prices are pretty close to what you'd find in a bath & body place in a mall, but their products are a lot nicer. I love their oatmeal facial scrub and their mango hand & body lotion.. and of course their Aloe! My fiance and I got the stink burnt out of us, and we used the pure aloe... oh my gosh it was the best feeling ever, and it doesn't make you feel like a piece of plastic afterwards because of it's non-alcohol formula. I've been ordering their products online for a few years since we don't live close by, but we first went into this store on a trip to Key West.
