There's a European air and flair in the place, with items I've never come across in other shops, and I love that! There were lots of scented items, and I love how she had glass cloches over the individual scents, since I am scent-sensitive. I was afraid when I walked in I might not be able to take it, but it wasn't overpowering. There were so many home and gift items in here, I could have easily dropped 10x the amount of money I did If I'd brought a bigger suitcase. From the delicate new and vintage jewelry, to the frameable greeting cards, to high end teas (daily sample available), and cotton frocks sprinkled throughout, I felt like I could have spent two hours in this small shop and still not have seen everything. Yet, it doesn't feel overwhelming, because the merchandising skills utilized here just made it a pleasure to wander this way and that, admiring all the little touches. These floral arrangements were indescribably beautiful, with luscious, colorful blooms that smelled like heaven! There were ivory, pink, and the most beautiful hue of violet roses that were so romantic and classic, and tiny little delicate pink roses. They were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen! My mother is a florist, and she couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous and absolutely perfect they were! We couldn't let them go, so my party brought some of the roses home with them. These blooms lasted a week, then were preserved beautifully! I have the most gorgeous dried roses for our wedding scrapbook! We made little tweaks to bring down the cost on some of the candle options, and that was really all I had to review! Of course it's cheaper to get someone just to do ad-hoc arrangements for you and then DIY everything else, but I am SO GLAD I wasn't responsible for setting that up and collecting it all at the end of the evening. It would've made my wedding day 1,000 times more stressful. Milan Event handled transporting our flowers everywhere they needed to go during the day and then picked up the decor after the reception, and it was worth every penny. The arrangements themselves were GORGEOUS and included a more expensive variety of flower than I had anticipated, which was a nice surprise and rare for the wedding industry. When the Milan Event folks showed up the day-of to my bridal suite with the flowers, they were even more beautiful than had I imagined. My wife tried the perfume on and realized it was not authentic; it did not smell the same as the real perfume and was tacky and sticky on the skin. They have a no-refund policy that ensures they keep their unsuspecting customer's (victim's) money. They would not exchange the perfume without the box. Be warned. Stay away.
