I wanted to order the bouquet for my mom 60th Birthday while she was in vacation in Key West. I placed order on website and got a call back in about an hour. Miles told me that they have to cancel my order because they don't have flowers in stock. I said, I don't mind substitution just make it nice and brightful like on the picture. He made me to place the order again over the phone. How huje my dissapointment was when I see the picture of the bouquet that my mom got today. It doesn't look nothing at all like at the picture or similar. I think they just didn't sub anything, they just cut amount of flowers in 3 times. Absolutely amazing!! I was two days from my wedding and flower-less, and the owner and the other gal there were so nice and helpful. They listened to what I wanted and whipped up a "rough draft" of what it'd look like in under ten minutes. They even did matching pieces to pin in my hair and for my husbands lapel. Andrea was absolutely amazing. I waited last minute, the morning of my wedding, to drop into petals and vines to try to put together my bouquet. They were so helpful and accommodating and genuinely happy to help me create the bouquet I dreamed of. I showed them pictures of my dresses and pictures of flowers I had saved on Pinterest and they were able to create exactly what I needed. They put my stress and nerves at ease and didn't make me feel bad about my last minute planning. They even let me and my bridesmaids go into the cooler to look at all of the available flowers. Then they delivered it right to my hotel just a few hours later! This was so convenient and helpful and I'm so happy with how beautiful the flowers turned out. I called from Chicago to place an order for an arrangement to be delivered to a cousin vacationing in Key West. I requested a bouquet that was displayed on the P&V website. I was assured by the associate that the arrangement I chose could be prepared by the budget I suggested. She was quick to tell me there would be a $10 delivery fee, which I of course agreed to. Well when my cousin sent me the photos of the flowers he received, I was mortified. Although the flowers had some remote resemblance to the arrangement that I requested, it was puny by comparison. Abysmal customer service and a complete waste of your time. Will not respond to emails, phone calls, or voice messages. If I can't trust you to respond to a question how can I trust you to provide flowers for my wedding? Full story: We emailed Petals & Vines prior to visiting Key West and they responded promptly, which was a good sign. We visited in person on the 10th and had a nice talk with Andrea about flowers for our wedding. We liked what they were proposing and wanted to wait for their quote before paying a deposit for the date. They said they would have a quote for us within a couple of days, which was great. We emailed them a week after they said they would have the quote and got no response. We emailed them again the 26th (two weeks) making sure that our previous correspondence wasn't lost, again no response. I called on the 29th to try and get our quote and got someone on the phone. They told me they were making a delivery and would call me back in 10 minutes. I got no return phone call, so I called repeatedly over the next four hours until they closed for the day and eventually left a voicemail. After giving them another 24 hours to respond I called back to ensure Andrea still worked there and to inform them I would be leaving this review, as I don't believe in going behind people's back. They told me that they had been busy the last three days, which still doesn't explain over two weeks of no communication. To Petals and Vines: all you had to do was let us know that you were busy and would get to us as soon as you can. There is no excuse in any industry I have ever worked in to completely ignore a potential customer. We had a limited time to meet with people and could have put it to better use if we knew that you were unable to communicate. read more
