Beautiful flowers! After checking with Sunset Key Cottages' concierge, I requested an arrangement from sent to the Cottages as a "thank you" for my boyfriend's parents who I stayed with during their month-long vacation. Mama's Flowers went above-and-beyond to tailor the arrangement for my special request. The arrangement was delivered as-expected on-time and was absolutely gorgeous, the flowers looked as if they had just been picked!! It was one of the most creative, interesting, and stunning arrangements I've ever seen at a reasonable price point from a florist. I am confident my boyfriend's parents will enjoy the arrangement for the rest of their vacation. I highly recommend Mama Flowers!!! read more

Used Mama Flowers for my wedding in April 2011. This was a destination wedding and planning from New York was very painful. In my delusional state, I did not physically do down to Key West until the day BEFORE the wedding. This was slightly psychotic, but to my surprise, Mama Flowers took care of me as a walk in and were able to fix all my crazy "but I want it this way" requests. They were great communicating over email for the months before hand, but were even better the day before when I actually showed up there unannounced in person. Dayna and JD were awesome! I barged in with orange ribbon and starfish from Shell World and they told me not to worry and that everything will be arranged by tomorrow, and it was! Flowers for my hair were magically delivered to the spa, flowers for the cake appeared as scheduled at the baker, invisible men showed up on the beach and set up the floral canopy along with all the other accents and then somehow moved it all to the reception area (I actually did not see these people, who they were and where they came from, I don't know, but they got the job done!) The flowers themselves were gorgeous! This was the biggest surprise, because planning from afar you don't actually get to see things in person till you get there. The finished products were so beautiful and fragrant, I couldn't have asked for more. These are professional people, who know what they're doing and who work well with all other businesses in town. Yes, as mentioned in a prior review, by a boy, they are pricy, but not nearly as much as others in town. And overall wedding flowers are ridiculously expensive, so I can't say their prices were unreasonable. I would say, if you are planning a destination wedding and are not able to be there in person to plan everything out, then go with Mama Flowers. They'll take care of you, even in your psycho bridezilla state. If I figure out how to post pictures, then I'll put up some of the pics my guests took. Thank you Mama Flowers! read more

Much like our cake, I (sort of) had to pick flowers on a whim for our destination wedding. While each florist's pictures looked pretty comparable I will say that Dayna's customer service really sealed the deal. She was very patient and kind in our email correspondence and told me every flower that she would use to recreate an idea that I had sent to her. I felt confident in my choice with her and the finished product was even better than I had imagined. The flowers were beautiful and the delivery was made on time to our hotel. I even managed to get the bouquet home to dry some of the flowers and preserve the succulents. read more

I was planning my wedding from Arizona - and my venue recommended Mama Flowers. Dayna & Ayn were SO amazing to work with! I sent them a couple photos of what I was thinking and let them really be the artists! Their work is amazing - and it was everything I was envisioning and hoping for! I was even able to keep the bouquets in the fridge at the hotel and use them for photos 2 days later! Truly amazing work! Thank you so much for making our wedding so beautiful and exquisite!! read more

Mama Flowers - I have never seen a more beautiful arrangement. These were to die for! - Florists Near Me - Key West, Florida

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I managed to persuade/bribe/drug my sexy ass girlfriend into becoming my wife (I don't think she knows yet, so please don't tell her). After an (un)healthy dose of ether, I loaded her up in the car and we headed down to Key West to tie the knot at Ocean Key Resort. We enlisted the help of Mama's Flowers to add that nice floral aroma to the crime scene/marriage (whichever, tomato/tomatoe). The flowers looked classy, smelled delicious and were pretty sturdy too! How can flower arrangements be sturdy you ask? Well, I managed to knock a huge arrangement off it's pedestal with an airborne chair (don't ask, it was a crazy party) and that S.O.B. took a solid 4 foot drop, hit the ground, rolled, and only lost a few pedals. That ball of floral mastery remained in tact and returned to it's pedestal, appearing as if nothing happened. At first I thought the flowers might be artificial doppelgangers, alas, they were not. Being the studly smooth pimp of love that I am, I secretly got a little Mama on the side and ordered a nice arrangement of pistils and pedals to give my bride to be as well as a boutonniere for my suit (*in case you need a lesson in manliness* http://artofmanliness.com/2010/07/09/boutonniere-buttonhole/). She loved 'em. The Good: - Healthy, good looking flowers - Solid assembly - Friendly staff The Ugly: - A little expensive although not the most expensive (aren't all flowers pricey???) read more

I used Mama Flowers for my wedding in January at the Southernmost on the Beach. The flowers were gorgeous and far exceeded my expectations! We heard numerous comments on how beautiful the arrangements were. One of our guests is even the daughter of a professional floral designer and sent texts to her mom so that she could see how gorgeous our flowers were. I would highly recommend to enhance the ambiance of any event in Key West! read more

We had our wedding at pier house resort in key west and Siiri was amazing from start to finish. She truly has a passion for the business and took my very vague ideas and made them amazing using my wedding colors. Her prices are beyond fair for the intricate work she does. Siiri brought my bridesmaids flowers early for pictures but waited to deliver the centerpieces until right before the ceremony to ensure freshness (summer in key west is not great for flower longevity). On top of her work ethic and beautiful design, Siiri is an amazing person and makes you feel like you are her number one client. read more

Order a few dozen day lilies today and they were as pleasant as always. Wonderful people and a lovely selection of flowers. As a helpful hint, they are located above the West Marine in the 3rd level courtyard. read more

Siiri from Mama Flowers is AMAZING. I had to order florals from cross country for a memorial service and she made the process completely stress free and easy. The arrangement was BEAUTIFUL and couldn't emphasize how well she took care of the order and my many questions. Loved the flowers for my small beach wedding. Went in the day before ordered flowers for myself and daughter and they were delivered promptly to my hotel at the exact time I requested. My only request was for pink because it matched my daughter's dress otherwise I gave them a lot of leeway and was extremely pleased with the final product. This flower shop knows what they are doing and I highly recommend them. read more

I received a spectacular bouquet for my birthday from Mama Flowers and it is so beautiful that it makes me feel truly blessed! It combines bird of paradise, orchids, flamingo flower, heliconia, and more set amidst gorgeously shiny tropical greenery. It is the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen. The only thing lacking, was a card with instructions on how to best care for the blooms to keep them as long as possible. I did call, and they were very happy to give me that information. read more

I had the best experience with the ladies at Mama Flowers. I flew in for a wedding and the bride did not have a bouquet yet. I walked in when they were closing and they put a beautiful quick bouquet together for me. The bride was thrilled with the gift. Their flowers were fresh, a great selection and the service was fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone on the island. read more

After emailing back and forth for 2 months we finally stopped by Mama's Flowers for a consultation appointment on our trip down. Not only was our appointment canceled they did not tell us the lady who we were supposed to meet with (Dana) was out of town but the girl who confirmed our appointment a week before didn't tell us this! Ok so that aside we still wanted to find out more but were told we needed to make a phone meeting to do this! Unprofessional and too busy for a small wedding. Steer clear! read more
