We were ripped off, but did not realize it until after we had left the store. We were going to…read morepurchase two silk screen t-shirts. The proprietor told us that if we bought three shirts, he would throw in a fourth for free. We agreed. We selected four designs, all sports related (two Washington Commanders, one Washington Capitals, one New England Patriots). However, when he performed the silk screening process, the Capitals shirt was done improperly. (The text on the design could not be seen/read.) So, he then created another shirt, with the silk screening done properly. He then asked us if we would like to pay $10 for the shirt that was done improperly. We said no. He pushed us fairly aggressively, trying to get us to pay for a shirt that had no value to us. He relented and put the four good shirts in the bag (or so we thought). When we got back our hotel more than an hour away, we realized that he had scammed us by putting the BAD Capitals shirt in the bag and keeping the good one. Thus, having gone into the store wanting only two shirts, we ended up paying for three and not getting the promised deal. (I suppose we can wear the unreadable Capitals shirt as a sleep shirt.) Very disappointed with the proprietor's deception and dishonesty.

I have this shop no stars! My husband and I went to Key West for the weekend, for our anniversary,…read moreand he bought me a silver charm and chain for $100..I thought it overpriced, but appreciated it just the same. A month later, the silver started turning and peeling off and underneath it was brass. The chain turned quickly then the charm. I tried to polish both and they never came clean. Ive worked with jewelry before so I know my metals...this was NOT steeling silver, but some kind of overlay. I emailed them about what they would do and I got no response. You can't claim your product is sterling silver, if it's not. So DO NOT BUY!!! Be very careful from buying from there.

This is a very small shop, but the owner has some fabulous jewelry in here for sale and he really knows what he's doing. He recommended that I replace the entire head that holds the diamond, rather than just try to repair the one prong. He showed me how the prongs had been repaired multiple times and were not strong enough to hold a 3 carat diamond safely. So we went ahead and replaced the whole head and I am so glad that I took his advice. The new head is much stronger and more substantive than the old head and I feel like my Diamond is really safe now. He did a nice nice job. It looks great.

I guess something was going on with his text messages as well. The request for a return was basically ignored but I was told that they usually give an appraisal letter when someone purchases a piece from them. I was emailed an appraisal letter. They said they would send one in the mail along with a small gift, which happened to be the same 2 pairs of tiny earrings Alex gave to me in the store. This is part of the phone message I received: "...to check with you because we did send the physical appraisal as you requested and also send you a nice gift in it as well. So if you can please reach back to me or just take down that review, I would really appreciate that." I would appreciate a refund. Oh well, neither one of us got what we wanted.
