Jessica at Steam Queen was wonderful. My wedding dress got dirty while I was traveling to Key West. Needless to say I was anxious about it getting clean, and I called her at 6pm when we landed. She answered the phone and exchanged several phone calls with me to answer my questions about how best to deal with the stain. She was very pleasant to work with, and was prompt with pick-up and delivery, and gave attention to detail regarding keeping it wrinkle free and intact when she dropped it off the day before the wedding. She might be pricey compared to the every day dry cleaners in Key West, but it's my wedding dress! I wasn't going to trust it to just any cleaner. And it was perfect. She got the stains out, and there was a lot of detailed ruffling along the entire back, which was flawlessly pressed. I would highly recommend her. read more

I love this lady!! I made an appointment two weeks before my wedding. Gave Jessica a call and I set up an appointment in less than 5 minutes. She told me over the phone most wedding gowns cost $80-$100. I had no problem with that considering I just paid over $400 on alterations. She arrived on time and returned my wedding gown the next day. My wedding gown looked beautiful!! I was so happy with her service!! Jessica did a fabulous job on our garments. She steamed my wife's white wedding gown, her little black party dress, my grey linen suit, and two of my white shirts. She picked everything up in the morning from our hotel, got everything done that same day, and returned everything to us the next morning. Basic economics are working in the favor of Jessica, owner of the Steam Queen. On the small island if Key West, there is not a lot of competition for your business and Jessica takes advantage of that by price gouging her customers. I have no complaints with the quality of the work provided by Steam Queen. We dropped off a wedding gown, a suit and two men's shirts to be pressed before our wedding day. The garments came back exactly when she said they would, pressed and wrapped in new plastic bags. Jessica is not able to provide you an exact quote until she takes a look at the complexity of the garments so you really have no idea what you are going to pay. She calls you later to let you know what the damage will be and at that point, you really have no choice but to say "ok". My wedding gown was strapless and full length but not too big (it fit into a carry on suitcase with all of my clothes for the week!). This is what she charged us: wedding gown press - $90, Men's button down shirts (press only) - $15/shirt, Men's suit (press only) - $20. read more
