Buyer beware! This store is charging an additional 3.75% for using a credit card, what a rip off! The sales people heavily "sell" and don't tell you about the additional charge before you purchase. They also don't give you an itemized receipt for your purchase. No other stores in lovely Key West charge for this. read more

Love this place. The customer service was great. Lots of attention to detail. Great selection of Tommy Bahamas, Gretchen Smith, Yellow Box luxury like which means Sparkely!!! Great shoes and accessories. Again the customer service was great they can pretty much size you up looking at you which makes it easy to try on and save time picking sizes. If you're closed then why is your door open? When you say you're closing in 10 minutes, that means you're still open. Completely rude staff. Especially the blonde in need of less Botox. I came in to purchase several clothing items but will not be returning tomorrow. read more

The customer service was fantastic until the end when you pay for your items. They don't tell you they up charge for using a credit card. Our $368 total ended up being $401. The "sign" letting you know this added fee is "missing" and they said they can't find it. I didn't add up my total until I was leaving and realized I was way overcharged. Good luck getting anyone there at Island Boutique to answer their phone to help with a return for a poorly fitting shirt (expensive at that) !! I have placed about ten calls to the store at various times without reaching anyone, let alone an answering machine that will allow for me to leave a message. On a recent trip to Key West I visited this Boutique store. Ready for some quality shopping I tried on 4-5 outfits, one of which I really liked. The sales girl told me this item was on sale so I was thrilled to make the purchase. When I went to pay II was told by the owner in a very unkind way that it was not on sale.I asked to throw away my empty water bottle and his response was "I don't want your garbage". I showed him where my dress came from and the sale sign.He said it didn't belong there and the sales girl didn't know what she was doing. At this point I figured he certainly didn't deserve my business with an attitude like that. This rude man should not be in any type of business that deals directly with people.If I could rate "NO" stars I would, but 1 star is the lowest.
