We were ripped off, but did not realize it until after we had left the store. We were going to purchase two silk screen t-shirts. The proprietor told us that if we bought three shirts, he would throw in a fourth for free. We agreed. We selected four designs, all sports related (two Washington Commanders, one Washington Capitals, one New England Patriots). However, when he performed the silk screening process, the Capitals shirt was done improperly. (The text on the design could not be seen/read.) So, he then created another shirt, with the silk screening done properly. He then asked us if we would like to pay $10 for the shirt that was done improperly. We said no. He pushed us fairly aggressively, trying to get us to pay for a shirt that had no value to us. He relented and put the four good shirts in the bag (or so we thought). When we got back our hotel more than an hour away, we realized that he had scammed us by putting the BAD Capitals shirt in the bag and keeping the good one. Thus, having gone into the store wanting only two shirts, we ended up paying for three and not getting the promised deal. (I suppose we can wear the unreadable Capitals shirt as a sleep shirt.) Very disappointed with the proprietor's deception and dishonesty. read more

I don't know why the negative reviews for I shopped here during my recent stay in Key West and had a great experience all due to a terrific employee call "Orly" (sp?). I was looking for some t-shirts in a 3XL for a friend, no easy task as I had been to plenty of stores already who stocked up to a 2XL but they just didn't look like they were going to be "comfy" enough. This was going to be my final stop before heading back to my hotel and lo and behold they had not only the elusive 3XL in t shirts, but had collared shirts and shorts as well. Orly had her assistant running through the store, pulling things off of racks, calling other stores, doing whatever she could to get the sale. Cool. And since they apply whatever graphic you want to the shirt right there, you can pick from a ton of designs. My first choice is always silk screening as it lasts longer, but this would do in a pinch. And while the price was a bit higher than the other shops, she was also willing to negotiate cutting $10 and $20 off the prices as we stood there. She also added in a graphic to the front of the shirt so the finished product had graphics on the front and back. Very nice! Gotta love it when someone goes out their way to make the sale. NEVER AGAIN! I was drawn in by the awesome sports logo t-shirts and asked the price, was told $14.99, great! I ordered one for myself and one for my hubby. I told the "Owner" the sizes and she said ok. NEVER mentioning that the price for a 3XL was DOUBLE! I should have known when she kept telling other shoppers that things were $$ but she would sell them for $ today. I paid for the shirts and went back in a few minutes later with my sister to let her know that I would have appreciated knowing before hand that the other shirt was more expensive, she kept repeating..."larger sizes have more material and they cost more"...while I kept saying..."I understand, I just wish you would have told me that before I ordered it"... Needless to say this went no where. My sister tried to intervene and restate both sides and the "Owner" asked us to leave. So, my sister asked to speaker with the Manager and was told that she was "The Owner". Next question was what is the name of the store? The "Owner" replied that the name of the store was "Go F**k Yourself". So, we won't be going back. When I got back to the cruise ship someone saw my shirt and asked if we had gotten it in Key West, when they found out I had, they said they should have warned me. She pulled nearly the same scam on them. read more

BEWARE THE T-SHIRT SCAM! We walked in to this store with the lure of $14.99 t-shirts at the entrance and some cool NFL Superman logos. We purchased one tank top made in India priced at $19.99 - the only item we bought that actually had a price tag on it. Then we purchased printed-on-site t-shirts from the selections of sayings/logos on the walls. When we had 4 shirts (including the $19.99 tank top) the female employee told us that if we bought 5 shirts we get 2 free. So we bought one more. The total for the tank top, one pre-printed tye die t-shirt and 5 printed-on-site t-shirts was $196.75. We never received an itemized receipt either. Doing the math later at our hotel, that came to $40.26 per shirt (if the last 2 were truly "free"). There are much better deals throughout Key West and Duval Street. And if you want funny sayings, get them way cheaper at some place like Zazzle.com. Scam artists! Tourists beware! I have already sent a complaint to the Florida Attorney General and will be filing an overcharge dispute with my credit card. read more
