One star performance... after the sale. Nice women's fashion store, definitely high end. In store service was great! (Not the owner!). We shopped for over an hour and we purchased several items, including jewelry and a scarf. The viral necklace we bought had a red coral pendent hanging from it, which broke the first time my wife put the necklace on. We called the shop multiple times and left a message, described the issue and asked to discuss. After several messages left over a couple of weeks, no response. The store may be high end, but the owners/service is low class. We concur with the general online sentiment, don't patronize this place! read more

My favorite store! The beautiful hand made jewelry and I love all the fun clothing. This is the Key West look you want. I'm taking my friends when they visit me! I will return because I really want everything!!! Pattye read more

We were not greeted as the only patrons who entered the small boutique. I Was treated very rudely by a male worker when shopping. He told me the items I was looking at on a rack weren't for me. He took a necklace from me after I held it and was putting it back on the hanger. We left immediately. I wouldn't spend any of my money shopping there. read more

Absolutely gorgeous, high-quality, sophisticated clothing, handmade jewelry, hats, shoes, bags. The owner and jewelry artist was a delightful gentleman who gave me the space to browse but also engaged me in some fun conversation. The vibe is upscale beachy/bohemian/western...reminded me of a photo shoot you'd see in Vogue magazine. Such great style! read more

Absolutely rude service. Came inside with a child and were promptly kicked out because of the rain and the accusatio we were only coming in to shelter from the weather. we were in all for a 2 min. read more

Bought a ring & stone fell out 2x. They glued it & I should have returned it. Lovely owner but knew there was a problem. Not quality service. read more

The store was cute but the sales people are rude and watch your every move like your going to pocket something. The jewelry was very pretty but also very easy to get at any other store, so definitely not worth the bad attitudes and staring. read more

The male owner is rude, follows you around like you're going to steal something. I think the jewelry is overpriced.

I went into the boutique on Tuesday and saw a beautiful necklace that I wanted very badly. Since this is a "highend" boutique, the price was a little over my budget. I did keep in mind that the necklace is handmade by the owners husband, and he does beautiful work. I kept thinking about the necklace and decided to go back on Thursday and purchase it. Well, that is when everything went south! The husband/designer was there, not the wife. This man was so rude when I told him the necklace was a little out of my budget. He told me to go to the cheaper store up the street. That is when I walked out with no necklace in hand. read more

Very rude. We were not welcomed or spoke to by anyone. They starred at us as they followed us from 2 feet away. I liked a dress in there but I would not buy from this place. read more

Indigo Boutique - Rude shop - Accessories Near Me - Key West, Florida

I would give 0 stars if I could! Echoing everyone else's reviews about the rude service here displayed by both older male and woman. They never greeted us or even looked our way. When we went to look by the back counter they received a phone call and passed the phone to each other in front of our faces. Then as we were looking at the jewelry, picking it up to try on as one does the man scolded "don't take off counter". And for a store where nothing looks necessarily unique, one of a kind or of utmost quality the prices are astronomical. Lastly, Key West is a very friendly spot so you needn't bother here! read more

Walked in to the store with my BFF to look around, shop, etc. I had a bag w/souvenirs and another with an order of conch fritters, in a container and tied up in the bag. A bald rude man behind the counter would not let us stay because I had food. Mind you, as I mentioned, food was in a bag, in a container and tied up in the bag. I wasn't eating it. My hands were clean, not even greasy and we don't look like riff raff. Rudest experience we had all week in Key West. What an ars! read more

Indigo is a lovely boutique that I always visit when in Key West. The owner designs the jewelry himself and there are many stunning items sourced from around the world. He does ask customers not to eat or drink in his shop and this clearly annoys some people from the comments. But that is his prerogative. I find the owner gracious and helpful and all of his products are top quality. I have loved every item I have ever bought. read more

Bad news! My sister's $42 earring broke and the male owner was SO rude to her- when she came in 15 minutes later for replacement. He told her she was bad news and threw us out! Such bad behavior. So, don't go there. Thanks read more

great stuff! owner so friendly - he gave my husband a cigar when he found out he liked them. I found great stuff!

I would give this place a negative review but I can't , just walked into the store and I guess I didn't fully close the door which was my fault I guess I wasn't aware of it so some guy told me to close the door which I did and then said "what's your problem, why did you slam the door" first off I didn't. I didn't even look at the items in the store because the bald headed guy was so rude and unprofessional immediately after I entered. There are far better boutiques in key west anyways don't bother going there. read more

I had a wonderful experience buying a necklace for my sister today. The salesman was very warm and engaging. He was also very happy to take apart a necklace for me and use the stones to make two bracelets. Great experience! read more

Entered into the store and was told to get off the phone AND the rude man told one of our girls that the outfit she was looking at would not be flattering to her. Completely rude and over priced store. Save your money and go some place where it is appreciated. I would NEVER step foot into this disrespectful atmosphere ever again. If the owners don't want to treat customers well - sell and get out! read more

I am so in love with this bouquet..owner was so helpful & amazing. Second item I tried on was more than perfect for wedding.

It was a fun pleasure to meet the artist of such amazing jewelry! Not only did he share the pieces he made, but shared the story of the stones and jewels he made them from. The Larimar necklace we ended up purchasing is beautiful and so much more meaningful having met the jewler! Dont let the grumblings of the tasteless keep you away from this literal gem of shop! read more

Rude staff. Would not recommend to anyone. Was not greeted nicely. They started closing down everything while we were looking around.

Probably my fave women's boutique in key west. I'm totally in to boho bathing suit coverups and this place is full of the most unique pieces. I see many negative reviews regarding the store owner, but he couldn't be kinder. The shop is full of high quality linen and handcrafted jewelry made mostly by he and his wife. I totally understand why he wouldn't want beverages and ice cream cones around his merchandise. I bought several items and I can't wait to come back to indigo for the most amazing pieces. Pittsburgh love to key west. read more

Love this store! Nothing bad to say. The owner was super nice and kind. The jewelry is amazing

Attempted to shop here as I liked many of the necklaces they had out. I was sipping a coffee as I browsed. The man behind the counter shouts at me, does not have the courtesy to walk to me, and says "LADY, you not allowed to have drink" while he wags his finger at me. Okay. I let him know that it was unfortunate that he did not want any of my money today. Now I understand not wanting people to have open drinks, especially on Duval st where many carry open containers. But again, this is Duval street not 5th ave NYC. Stop deluding yourself now- your store is no better than where you choose to be located and you have no right to speak to potential customers in that matter. read more

I would rate this store 0 stars if I could. I picked up a pair of jeans that I wanted to try and was told there was no fitting room. Was wearing leggings and decided to step to the side of the store to slip on over to see if they fit and was scolded by the male sales associate and told its "company policy" that you can't try anything on. How can you sell clothes if you can't try things on?! Much cuter boutiques in Key West. Save yourself time and shop elsewhere! read more

I chose about six items to try on. The salesperson then came over and said that the fitting room was closed. I was wearing a very thin t-shirt, so decided to try the clothes on OVER the t-shirt. She then came over, again, to explain that they were not allowing you to try on ANY clothes. If that's their policy, so be it, but why didn't she tell me that in the beginning as I was choosing clothes to try on? Obviously, I was not going to buy any item without trying it on, so left them there and walked out. Very odd interaction, strange situation. Would not go back. read more

This place looks like it has cool stuff but the gal and guy that run it (possibly owners) are RUDE AS HELL!! I've never experienced anything like them. I wanted to go back to get a hat I saw but they had closed so I called to see if they would ship it to me but got yelled at and hung up on both times I tried.. I hope they realize that their customers are what keeps them open before they chase them all away!!!! Lots more to this story but I'm just going to leave it there for now! WoW, save your money and shop where they appreciate you like the good ol days!! I only gave it a one star cuz it won't let you leave it blank!!!! read more

Worst customer service and treatment of people I've ever seen in a boutique anywhere I've ever been in my entire life. My family and I went in to check this Boutique out last week when we were there in key west. My husband saw a beautiful shirt that was on a hanger and had three necklaces on the hanger with it he picked it up and told me that it would look really pretty on me and then he asked I wonder how much these necklaces are the man who was working in the store overheard our conversation and butted it in with the snootiest, most condescending tone. He said the price is right there on the necklaces ! When we saw how much the necklace was w my husband and I said wow I wonder what these are made out of to be that much. The man working in the store came over to my husband and literally took the hanger with the shirt out of my husband's hand!!! took the necklaces out of my husband's hand and put them on the hanger and then proceeded to put the hanger back where my husband had picked it up from and wiped the front of the shirt down with his hand as if he was decontaminating it from us while we were standing right there!!!!!and he turned and walked away. The message was clear he did not want a shopping there so we turned and left. Unfortunately he has other reviews that say the exact same thing. apparently this is the owner of the store and he has no shame about how he treats his customers. most places understand that some people can't afford things and still treat you kindly and say thanks for coming but not this guy. read more

I would rate no stars if possible. The quality of the fabric is mediocre for the price. On top of that the male owner lacks customer service. The shopping experience in this store is horrible. Never again, there's plenty of other stores in Key West in which to do my shopping. read more

Bought gold earrings and and necklace set. The post broke off one of the earrings within a week. I went back to buy another pair. Mind you they are real gold and not cheap. I did not mention anything about the first pair breaking. I again was the only customer in the store while the town and other shops were full. I again was treated very rudely by the male working there. I put the earrings down and left. I won't give my business to unkindness not bring myself into their mindset. read more

Positively one of the best stores in Key West. Don't miss it. The owners are the nicest, kindest people. They offer great smiles, expert knowledgable service and an amazing selection of jewelry, Caribbean themed shirts and specialty items. Rare today to find a retail store that is fun to visit and offers wonderful things to buy. Bravo !! read more

I've been eyeing the store for some time, I wandered in one day a few months back with an iced coffee and he yelled at me from the back of the store that beverages are not allowed. While I fully understand the policy, there is certainly a better way to speak to your potential customers. It left a bad taste for me, but with so many beautiful pieces, I found myself there again today. I asked him if his items were imported from all over the world, to which he responded "yea". I was trying to make conversation over the interesting items he carried - and he was clearly not into talking. Fine. So then I found a pair of beautiful turquoise earrings, which I held up to my ear. He rudely called "no trying on". Again, I understand the policy, but not the tone. I was about to buy $280 earrings, instead I left. 2 stars for a beautiful store with bad customer service. read more

Overpriced for poor quality. Staff was incredibly rude.

So pricy but so many cute things! If you've got $100 bucks to drop on a dress, this is a good option. The boutique is large and packed with plenty of unique clothing and accessories. I really loved the kaftans, but they were out of my price range. read more

The male proprietor of this store was the worst ever. I bought a pair of earrings that broke (main part fell off) about one hour after purchasing. When I took them back for fixing, he basically accused me of breaking them and was completely obnoxious. The second pair fell apart, too! Accused me again of breaking those, too. Don't waste your time or money in this store. The incident would have been funny if it was not so infuriating! read more

Love all of the stuff--nice selection of rings, dresses, and shoes--and being from New York City, these prices are actually cheaper than I'm used to. The one drawback was the awful customer service. The man working there made me feel so uncomfortable that I just walked right out. If you want to make me feel like I'm a nuisance, like it's a bother to help me out, and like you'd rather be waiting on someone else when I am the only one in the store, then I will take my business elsewhere. 2 stars for merch, 0 for service. Good riddance. read more
