I ordered the Tangis Moroccan Pita ($17) and tried to order a GF blueberry and lemon muffin but the customer in front of me ordered the last one! So maybe next time! There were plenty of seats to choose from, even some with a prime view of duval street to people watch. My order came a little while after (they were busy) and it looked delicious. The side salad was refreshing and good. The pita was a little bland but packed with yummy veggies. Overall it was good and kept me full and fueled for a while. I would come back and try other menu items. I really appreciate a place with GF options.

I was delighted to see that they had shakshuka on the menu but I've never had a "green" one. I ordered that and a hibiscus tea. Both cane in a reasonable amount of time. The tea was alright and a little sugar made it more suitable to my taste. The shakshuka had drill, peas, yogurt and some other stuff. It was lightly spicy and a welcome change. I enjoyed this version but to be honest I prefer the original a bit more. I'd suggest giving this place a try when your in town. Maybe you'll find something different. Isn't that what Key West is all about?

There's a European air and flair in the place, with items I've never come across in other shops, and I love that! There were lots of scented items, and I love how she had glass cloches over the individual scents, since I am scent-sensitive. I was afraid when I walked in I might not be able to take it, but it wasn't overpowering. There were so many home and gift items in here, I could have easily dropped 10x the amount of money I did If I'd brought a bigger suitcase. From the delicate new and vintage jewelry, to the frameable greeting cards, to high end teas (daily sample available), and cotton frocks sprinkled throughout, I felt like I could have spent two hours in this small shop and still not have seen everything. Yet, it doesn't feel overwhelming, because the merchandising skills utilized here just made it a pleasure to wander this way and that, admiring all the little touches. Honestly, it is an exemplary shop. I'd rank this in the top 5 shops I've ever visited anywhere, and I wander into a LOT of shops! This is a must if you are in Key West. You can get a cocktail anywhere, but these elegant displays and thoughtfully curated products are not to be missed!

However, after looking around for a while, I found several items that I loved, that were reasonably priced, and beautiful, so I bought them! However, I am writing this review, not so much about the store, but about the sales associate who assisted me. Her name was Lauren, and they couldn't have a sweeter and more helpful person there! Loren had the greatest smile, the kindest voice, and was not overbearing or obnoxious like a lot of the sales people I met in stores. She left me to look around on my own, but was available in seconds every time I needed assistance. I watched how she interacted with other customers and her service was spot on. Good customer service seems to be a practice that is lost in our country at this point in time and I know it must be affecting productivity as well as sales. That's why I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the outstanding service that Lauren provided. She understands what good customer service means and she delivers. Plus, she is truly a very nice person and perfect for the job she currently holds. Truval marketplace is lucky to have Lauren and I feel honored to have met her.

They have a lot of stock -- not just the tees, but band tees, touristy stuff galore, flowing dresses and skirts -- all sorts of tie died and hippy style clothes (from my youth). In addition, in the very back is a caged area with a few small alligators --for the kids (and tourists) to marvel at. They do have a few tee shirts at a bargain price, but most things you will want to buy are about $25 and up. There were a few band shirts that would have been good Christmas gifts... but not at the prices listed. In any case, for those of us at a certain age, it's a nostalgia trip to smell the incense and walk through an homage to those head shops that used to dot every corner...

It's got its own hippie vibe to it, and the aisles are quite narrow once you walk in, to the point that one could almost consider the place a fire hazard. There is also a small cage at the back of the store that has two baby alligators; you can hold one of them at your own risk & get a photo with one for the low low price of ten dollars. (No thanks.) The store also sells some classic vinyl records & some colorful cardboard ornamental displays (roosters, birds, etc.) of different sizes that can be purchased & then assembled in just moments. It was worth the trip just to get a photo of Joliet Jake & Elwood Blues.
