LIZ I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SOOOO LATE!!! LIZ was in Bobbyshop on her day off helping a friend and while she could have turned my disastrous head away she took me under her blessed hands and....PERFORMED A TOTAL MIRACLE!! 4.5 hours, a lot of patience (hubby's let us women take the time we need to go from beautiful to gorgeous...it turns out better for you), and a fierce determination to help me realize my vision for being the twin sister to the mother of dragons, and she did it. I am still 100% completely and totally in love with her handiwork and wish I could afford to go down to Key West so that no one else ever touches my hair!! read more

Terrible overpriced woman's haircut. Be careful who you ask for. Place was really cute. Easy to get to.

Marcus at Bobby Shop is a true artist! He transformed my hair from long dark roots & blonde dead ends, into healthy, beachy, glowing & natural. Loved my cut too, framed my face & super fun. The vibe at Bobby Shop is like my soul - vintage records, Stix Figure radio & a retro relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! Best cut & color ever‍ read more

Excellent! My first time i went there, after my aesthetician recommended it. I wanted a haircut and Bobbyshop was new to me. My hair is now very short thanks to chemo. I haven't found a stylist that has the nerve to cut my naturally curly hair short. I gave Eric carte blanche to cut. He cut it very short on the sides and back, tapered on top. I love it, my husband loves it, my friends and relatives love it. It fits my curly hair and face perfectly. He knew how to work with my very curly hair so it naturally goes into place. Eric will be my stylist in the future. Highly recommend this very casual salon in Old Town Key West. read more

Sometimes, you need to see things in a different light. Sometimes it is good to get a fresh set of eyes, hands, scissors, foils on your hair. Marcus is patient, persistent, and determined to give you what you are looking for. Also very knowledgeable and talented. I came out of his chair with a fresh updated look, a better color to suit my skin tone and really more compliments than I have ever received. I highly recommend Marcus and the salon! read more

Marcus is Amazing!! He takes the time to talk to you and get to know the history of your hair, to make sure you get the best treatments. The other stylists are amazing as well!! Love the decor, the vibe and pleasant conversation, lets you feel like family!!! read more

The worst haircut I have ever had! He took less than ten minutes with his buzz cutter. Usually it's a half hour the place I go to up norThe guy even cut my eyebrows so poorly people asked me what happened. Now there is a really great barber named Gene. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed. He is professional and meticulous. read more

I visit Key West fairly frequently as we keep a boat moored at NAS Boca Chica. I was in town to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. I and girlfriend made appointments with Cory for a wash and blow dry. Cory did a fabulous job! One of the very best stylings ever. We were both very pleased. I will be calling Cory next time I'm in Key West - it sure beats having to do my own hair. Thank you Bobbyshop. read more

I was OVeRDUE for a cut and color. This place was nice. Jean did a great job. He even wrote the formula down so I could keep up with it at home and told me to have my stylist call if they had questions. I highly recommend this spot. read more

This deff is a local spot - I highly recommend coming on vacation and getting your hair done here just to do it! Thanks Robert and Becky for the great service! read more

I received the most AMAZING haircut here today! I got two massive rats nest in my hair from jet skiing and we called and they took us in right away. I've got cleaned up at the shop several times...Cool spot, easy parking for downtown KW, and lots of sweet things to look at on the wall while you're getting your hairs cut. My man Johnny has been my barber on all of my visits. Very experienced, skilled, and easy to talk to. read more

Got a great cut and good conversation from Heather the barber. Military friendly is an understatement. Also loved that she listened and went short despite me being a chick. I wish I could be a regular, sadly I'm just on vacay. I'm not sure why this dude gave a one star but it looks pretty sketchy to start a business page just to be the first to give a shitty review. This whole listing should taken down. read more

Marcus, the tall Marcus, gave me and my friend AMAZING haircuts! Book him NOW! You can thank me later.

Men's Haircut- I got an appointment with Liz at the suggestion/insistence of my gal pal. What a great decision! I've had a hard time getting a good men's hair cut here in the keys. This is the best hair cut I've ever gotten, 23 years of hair cuts, and this is the best cut ever. Great attention to detail, friendly staff. I recommend Liz with full confidence! My hair looks great, and styles perfectly! I am 100% satisfied, and the price was fair for what I got at $25. I got a shampoo and styling with the cut. I don't usually care about hair cuts, but this one was amazing read more

If you want a stylist who does not listen to your request go here! I made an appointment for my fiance' who has a gorgeous head of naturally curly, white hair. I searched reviews and it appeared that Liz was highly recommended by clients. I was told when I made the appointment that she was no longer there and that Courey would be a good stylist. When he arrived he was told she was not available and was seated in the chair of a guy stylist who "butchered" his hair after he described that he want just less than a quarter of an inch off and shaped up. There was more hair on the floor than on his head. He was so irritated when he left he just didn't say anything, which is not like him. So, our recourse is to warn others to avoid this place. Considering Bobby's bio on the website, and his desire for long locks that he'd ensure his stylists listen to what clients want. Unfortunately many stylists, wherever they are always seem to think they know what's best instead of using their TWO ears! Do not go here!!! read more

I'm a barbershop kinda guy. I visit them when I travel. I called and made an appointment. The place is cute with lots of Elvis and 80's rock album covers. My barber was nice and wanted to know what I wanted. I asked for a trim, about a half inch, no clippers, no fade- just a clean up. The reason for the two stars is the cut I received was not even close to my request. After trimming me up with scissors, out came the clipper and He proceeded to give me a very short clip on the sides and back. After I washed my hair later it looked Weird. It'll grow out.... but.... I didn't notice how short he was going until after... I haven't had that happen before. Pricing was fair, if I got the cut I asked for. read more

The customer serive is absolutely superb! Jake knows exactly what he is doing and I will be back every chance I get! Heavily recommend!!

I randomly selected this shop from Yelp while on vacation in Key West and I'm so happy I did. They only made me wait about 15 minutes after walking in without an appointment. My hair was a very heavy, thick triangle-shape after growing out a short cut for a while. I believe my hair stylist's name was Aleksandar... he 100% knew exactly what to do with my thick and difficult hair. He didn't take much length off, but layered it beautifully and thinned out certain parts with a razor. The whole process took less than an hour and I felt fabulous once again. The price was very affordable too. I am so happy I walked into Bobbyshop and got my hair styled by Aleksandar! If I'm ever in need of an emergency haircut and in Key West again, I would definitely return here. read more

Writing this on behalf of my friend. Attaching whatever she sent. Worst salon ever. Calling this a "Luxury salon" is a scam. My hair got stuck to the dryer and she actually had to cut it out. I was badly needing a haircut, but didn't know where to go. In the 3 yrs that I had been in Key West, very haircut I had gotten has been an overpriced disappointment, untill I went to the Bobby Shop. A good friend recommended this place but specifically recommended Liz. I went in and let Liz do whatever she wanted to my hair and I seriously walked out with the best haircut I have ever had in my life. I have gotten so many compliments on hair! It's amazing what a good haircut can do. Liz is awesome, and Bobby was super nice, and not to mention a looker as well. :) I am seriously upset I didn't go here sooner. read more

I was a walk-in and luckily Johnny was available to take me. Loved his personality and engaging convo. He took his time sculpting my hair instead of just running some clippers around my head and sending me on my way in 10 minutes like I'm used to elsewhere. Are you in a hurry? This is the place for you! Had my hair cut by Scotty today and was in and out in 10 minutes. I don't expect it to take an hour, but I certainly felt as if he was rushing to get me out as quickly as possible. He seemed more annoyed than anything; didn't even bother to ask how I thought it looked. This place is definitely off my list. Went straight to another barbershop who was shocked that I had just received a haircut. Buyer beware. read more

Alexander cut my hair. My gosh he did such a fantastic job. My hair is thick &wavy that's unmanageable. He is very detailed and takes his time. He's also very skilled. I definitely recommend booking a appointment with him. The salon/barber shop is fun and welcoming atmosphere as well. read more

On short notice and as an out-of-town visitor, I was looking for a Salon to do my hair for my wedding. My fiancee' searched and found a few. After checking with a few, I was ready to give up because of the cost. Then, I called Bobby's Shop and was so happy I called. I was assured I could get my hair done and even offered services to do my makeup - all for a fraction of the cost for other Salons! Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Maggie who did both my hair and makeup. She did a spectacular job!!!! My fiancee' was blown away when he saw me and the guests at the wedding and those who see our wedding pictures, rave about my hair and makeup. Maggie, I can't thank you enough for making me feel so wonderful on my wedding day. I could not have been happier! I would recommend The Bobby Shop to anyone looking for quality services at reasonable costs. read more
