This is probably one of the worst hair salons I have ever been to. I went in there about six weeks ago for a retouch and eyebrow wax. Tina, the owner, did the services that I requested and it was the worst experience that i've ever had. I made my appointment weeks ahead of time and when I came into the\nSalon , she was with another customer already , and I had to wait. She rushed right through my services , doing a half ass job. All she wanted to do was get back to the other customer.Because the other customer was having hair extensions , hair color, cut and style. Which ended up being pretty pricey , I bet. For my retouch and half a** eyebrow wax , she charged me $180. She did not even want to blow dry my hair. Why she charges so much?I don't know because she's using the same products that I used to use in beauty school 15 years ago. She called me about three weeks ago after she read my review, crying. Crying about her business, how's she keeps losing stylists. It went on and on. She did offer me a free retouch and free eyebrow wax 3 weeks ago. I could not go at the time because I just had a total knee replacement and I told her I would get a hold of her when I was able to get around. I texted her today and she never replied. This is absolutely a horrible, horrible salon.And the owner is not a good person. I don't recommend it to anybody. read more

OMG! The stars aligned and I booked an appointment yesterday for this morning with Lee! Visiting from TX, my hair was a WRECK! I have been wearing it in a clip for two weeks (yes, I did wash it during that time!). My color looked like dark and bleach - ick! I found this neighborhood gem on Yelp, gave them a call, and miraculously was able to get in. The reception booked me with Lee, and I went in "blind". Lee is Irish - as in born and raised in Ireland. He has been doing hair for 27 years and moved here from Dublin 5 years ago. Lee has beautiful taste, great personal style, and is HONEST! He politely told me that my blonde highlights were wrong for my skin tone and then went to work. I LOVE IT! He is also SUPER NICE as is his love, DJ, who is in training and was there to observe. DJ - also super cool, nice, and has impeccable taste. I also loved that I was the only client Lee was seeing and his attention was on me and my hair. Lee has styled for many of the big fashion houses in Europe, and many famous people we all know and love to hate! :-) I have already told two neighbors about Lee and this little gem! GO AND SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS! It wasn't luck, it was fate. Lee is UNBELIEVABLE! I will make the 7-hour drive from Tampa again just to have him bless my hair! THANK YOU!!! read more

not only is this salon a horrible experience for customers but it was also a terrible experience for me. a baby stylist with little to no experience. I walked around salons handing my resume out and this is the second salon i stumbled upon. BEWARE. stylists are VERY unprofessional. the stylist erica in particular told me my pay would be deductible if my back wasn't straight while cutting hair. they were whipping me with towels if i hadn't had something done right. these women are throwing around profanities around the salon, teaching me methods i know are very wrong and unprofessional, not to mention against state board regulations. so no not a salon i recommend. I really wanted to like this place, but honestly the some of the stuff seems very unprofessional, the way the talk to each other it's so vulgar, I made a last minute appointment and I was so happy I was able to book one, but honestly it wasn't what I was expecting horrible customer service! The girl name Erika even offered $40 extra to "protect my hair" from "damage", and I feel like I got more damage to my hair than ever. My hair was being ripped off while two people were brushing my hair due to tangled they made it! & when it came down to finishing her blow dry my hair I felt like my head was juts being ripped off pulling my head so hard! I've never in my life Wanted something to end so fast. On top of that I had a wait because she had to cut somebody else's haircut in the middle doing my hair. And when it came down to paying, I don't think it was worth it, i'm usually a good tipper and it's crazy how it doesn't give you an option to not tip. And they make you tip. Overall, the vibe was just off !! Also, she seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. I wish I would booked with Candice instead, she seemed to know what she was doing, knowledgeable. I reached out regarding removing hand tied extensions. I was speaking with Tina about her cost and availability - she mentioned she was $120/hour which made me nervous because they take 5 minutes to remove, which made me feel she was lying about her experience with removing this type of hair and was thinking it would take her multiple hours to "figure it out". So I clarified, because in the past salons have told me "removing NBR is $100" and didn't mention the "hourly". I don't mind paying for someone's time, it's not a cost issue. If I was cheap I wouldn't have $3,000 hair extensions.... My concerns were confirmed because she got defensive and nasty. Calling me a "Karen" for simply asking two questions about a service. Clearly she was insecure about her inability to actually complete the task. I know as women our hair is important! I would absolutely avoid this place. If she's going to lie and be nasty to me, I can't imagine what she would do to someone's hair during a cut or color! read more

BEWARE - This place is the worst salon I've ever been to. First, the employees are so vulgar and very uneducated on how to provide a good experience. Second, I went in for a treatment to relax my curls and the stylist I was with was explaining me everything, but this other person Erica got in the conversation pointing how it looks like I don't take care of my hair (very disrespectful because she's assuming - she doesn't know anything about my hair care routine) and that my curls are beautiful and I should just get a haircut and highlights (after saying my hair isn't looking healthy, she recommends highlights). I'm sitting already annoyed and just silent and thinking how these people are so rude and that this is the norm here. I can't believe this place is real. I ended up deciding to get the highlights and just leave my curls. Amaya the stylist working on my hair was being bossed around on what to do on my hair and she seemed really annoyed. In the end, the highlights were so horrible, it's multi colored and not even, not natural and in patches. TERRIBLE. I told them that I didn't like it and that I wanted to get it fixed because it was just bad and Amaya said to come in on Monday to get it fixed because at that point I also told them I wanted to leave already, I was upset because of everything that had happened earlier and the final result. When Amaya said to come in on Monday to fix it, Erica stated that it wasn't safe for my hair to be bleached again only 2 days apart, she said to wait 2 weeks at least, and then Amaya said I could do it and that she was going to consult another stylist. They admitted their bad job. I paid $411 + $40 tip that I was pressured into leaving. I called another hair professional and explained what happened and they advised not to go back. I submitted a dispute with my bank for a refund because I didn't even want to go back or talk to these people after reading the reviews and how they mistreat and abuse their customers and threaten with calling the police and get so defensive because they know they are wrong. Then they had the audacity to call me insulting me saying I do this often and that I'm stealing from them and calling me a poor baby. Please, BEWARE of this salon AND DON'T TRUST THEM with your hair. I really wanted to like this place but the haircut I received is the worst one I have ever had. I have wavy hair and my hair is fine but there's a lot of it. I get a chin length bob with a few layers. The stylist was running behind because she messed up the person before me's hair.. she washed my hair and she was very rough! Pulling at my hair really hard. She cut my hair too short. It is at my earlobes not my chin. She shaved my neck with the clippers after I pulled away from her and told her not to. My hair has to be thinned out so it doesn't stick out like a triangle and she has no clue how to. She had a coworker show her how and she acted like she just did not understand but proceeded to hack at my hair. The "cutting" technique she was using felt like she was ripping my hair. There are holes throughout the back of my hair from her attempting to thin it. The back of my hair looks like a little kid got ahold of the scissors. read more

Do NOT waste your time (or money) going to this Salon. Tina, the owner, is a con-artist. She charges $120/hour for hair extensions, and will tell you that she is extremely fast to give you hope of a reasonably priced appointment, then will drag out the appointment for hours - at the end charging you WAY more than you expected. My two hour appointment turned into a 4 hour appointment, and she tried to charge me for all 4 hours - forgetting that she also arrived late and didn't start me until half an hour later. I have very thin hair and I have NEVER had someone work more than at the most, 3 hours on my Keratin extensions. During the appointment I asked her several times how much longer the appointment would take and she strung me along constantly telling me "15 more minutes" several times and ignoring to tell me she was going to charge me for more time than expected. She slapped me with a bill DOUBLE the price that I anticipated and what she originally quoted me (almost a $500 bill) I expected her to negotiate the price, and instead she IMMEDIATELY picked up the phone and said she was calling the police and said I was a dishonest person. I had no intention of not paying - I just expected her to negotiate with me since she was not transparent with what she was going to charge me. The police showed up and she started crying crocodile tears. In the end I paid $420 ($60 less because of her tardiness that she admitted at the end). I left VERY offended, frustrated and unhappy. read more

Well, I came in as a new local and was excited about having my hair trimmed up and colored. I left with just a trim and a toner for 140$. Okay, 4 days later, the 90$ toner was washed out and back to my normal color, and hair more damaged than before! I called 5 days later, and expressed my disappointment and they wanted to charge me another 90$ to come in and do it again? I don't mind paying for my hair, but this was unbelievable! And absolutely no help, when I called 5 days after my service... so no thank you, Ever Again!!! What a Rip Off! I could have washed with purple shampoo for free, and the 50$ cut was a just a small trim. Don't waste your time or money!!!!! read more

I hired Spoil Me Rotten for my destination wedding in Key West. I looked at a handful of places that were local before finally deciding to go with them. I am so happy that I chose to go with these ladies, as they did an amazing job. I had 11 ladies that all needed hair and makeup. From the beginning they were super responsive to emails and made sure that I was comfortable with the timeline for our wedding. Given the number of guests having services done, they came with 3 people on the day of the wedding. On top of that, we had dogs present and our photographer and videographer. They were professional in dealing with the "extras" and very communicative of everything. They finished before when was expected, and I (and our other guests) LOVED their work. **WARNING** Do not go to this salon!! Worst salon I've ever visited. The staff here are rude,unprofessional, and didn't even manage the colour service I paid for. When I left I was bullied and threatened. I asked for a balayage and was given a few highlights and an all over toner and not even the colour of the photo I showed them. The hairdresser applied colour inches on to my face and either this or the remover they applied caused my to have an allergic reaction with bumps and redness. They've left a dark stain of dye all around my hairline and on my ears which I've never had before. I could have done the same thing to myself at home if I wanted to. I noticed my allergic reaction after their first attempt at getting the colour I wanted failed. They kept trying to tell me it couldn't be an allergy as they'd never seen it before. During having the 2nd toner applied and washed off I also was soaked head to toe with water and had to be given a new gown. The hair colour was still brassy yellow where they had done some highlights. I already had a reaction so knew I couldn't take yet another dye to get it how I wanted so asked to leave. I told them I'd pay and then have another salon fix it because I didn't want them touching my hair again and it wasn't safe for me to have more treatments. When I went to pay and leave the older fat woman started telling me I was a liar. That I was trying not to pay. That I should let them redo it. She then aggressively told me that I had spots all over my face and was ugly and stupid. Tried to make out that I was imagining the allergic reaction from the dye. I asked for a note saying what dye/ stain remover I'd had a reaction to in her salon in case I had to go to the dr and was laughed at. She also shouted at me that I was poor and couldn't even afford to be in there (I never once said I wouldn't pay only that I didn't want them to touch my hair any more). She then tried to over charge me saying that because they'd messed up my hair and had to redo it I should pay more. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable being there and it's apparent that they lack any kind of customer service skills. To give some credit to the hairdresser who did my hair she did offer to redo the toner another day once my reaction settled down. That's before I got shouted at, bullied, and threatened by her colleague. read more

My daughter asked for a color and cut for the day of her wedding. The informal ceremony was going to be on a boat the evening of Halloween. I booked ONLY a color and cut appointment early enough that we'd have time to unhurriedly get ready for the wedding after. My daughter is not a "big curls and girly style" kind of girl. She was telling Marcus she planned to leave her hair just wavy for the ceremony. Marcus took it upon himself to give her a head full of curls, which we didn't ask for so I assumed he was just playing with her hair so he could take pictures of his work. Our 12pm to 2pm appointment ran well past 3 leaving us in a time crunch we hadn't expected. I quickly paid so we could get going. We had to rush and get to our hotel and ready and to the dock in barely over an hour. During that time my daughter had to brush out most of the ridiculous curls so she looked more like herself. She didn't even have time to do her makeup as she had planned. Everything was rushed after that. The ceremony was on the water and windy and the curls would never have lasted anyway. When I arrived home and sat down to look at my receipts for everything I realized that Marcus had charged $90 for curls that weren't asked for and there were two $25 product fees that were unexplained. I wrote an email to the salon about the extra $140 in unexpected charges. They couldn't be bothered to respond and sent me a $20 refund. We are not a wealthy family and this appointment was a major budget splurge already. My daughter got married barefoot and in shorts. As boat crew members she and her husband even helped hoist the sails before the ceremony. If we'd wanted a formal wedding style we would have asked. I would have asked since I was paying for it. To add insult the apparent owner brought a dog with her into the shop who promptly dropped a turd in the middle of the floor which my friend almost stepped in. Be careful of this salon and their over charges and obviously don't expect them to stick to the scheduled. Person who answered was friendly and helpful and was able to fit me in without too much of a wait. This is now my go to salon. The owner is Tina and she is an artist with scissors, color etc. I brought a picture and she made it come to life on me. I have fine baby hair and now I have body and color depth that No other hairdresser has been able to achieve. And I am 60 so I have been to a few! Clean relaxing atmosphere. Just love it! read more

ABSOLUTELY A RIP OFF!! The owner Tina tried to over charge me for keratin bonds that she made very poorly herself ( the local salon that took them out said this stuff isn't even keratin!!) I repeatedly told her I only needed one spot done, and she proceeded to take all my weave out, I stopped her when I realized she was going way to far. At that point I was forced to have these HORRIBLE bonds put in. She was rude about it, and when I tried to contact her to have her remove them, she ignored me. Finally i got another girl at the salon to agree to take them out but at that point I didn't want to go back to that shit hole. And having these in and taken out have damaged my hair very badly.. this lady is a rip off and I'm surprised she's still in business!! DONT GO TO HER!! read more

If I could leave a review with negative 5 starts I would, where do I even begin. My hair has been jet black for about 6 months now. I was coloring it with Pravana. I came into spoil me rotten because Candon had cut my hair previously and I liked the cut. Another salon on island had canceled on me and I really wanted this black out of my hair.. I wasn't going for anything insane just back to brown, my natural color is not too far off from black. Candon and Candice said they had two other clients but could fit me in between them and share the job. Candon started by applying a BLEACH directly onto my hair.. No color remover. No cap. Just bleach. He then proceeded to put my head directly under a heat lamp.. Without foils.. When I noticed my hair smoking he jumped up and had me go to the sink to rinse it out. Then after they bleached my hair to shit and cooked it. I went back to the chair where Candice applied this brown that came out nothing like what I requested, it was terribly red. After letting the color sit and having it rinsed I sat back in the chair only to notice these weird noodle like pieces all over the right side of my head (the spots that were smoking) they literally looked like wet ramen noodles.. When I pointed this out to Candice she told me not to worry they would go away. She then proceeded to apply more bleach to my hair for highlights.. (As a professional if you notice someone's hair is fried you should probably not put any more bleach on their hair) I sat there and kept my mouth shut. I was running out of time and knew my hair was being damaged so I insisted she please rinse the bleach off of my hair and that I had to go. I left with my hair wet.. Threw it in a bun. Went to work. When I got home and took my hair down I noticed those noodle like spots felt like melted plastic.. It was sticking to my hands and other hair, it was also sooooo stretchy like a rubber band.. I tried brushing my hair and it was falling out in giant clumps.. My hair was fried. It was also calico in color.. Literally my hair was 173829 different colors. Patchy, blotchy, and now irreparably damaged. I cried. I spent the entire night/ next day/ next day trying to contact Candice or Candon.. I messaged them both on Facebook I also messaged the owner explaining what was happening and how I either wanted a full refund of $320 to try get it fixed elsewhere or to please fix it. That Sunday I went down to ocean wellness for a full olaplex treatment and a cut and semi permanent color. The gentleman told me my hair was so damaged he couldn't use a permanent color, also he couldn't cut all of the "noodle" pieces out because some go almost to my roots. I was also told I can't use ANY FORM OF HEAT ON MY HAIR for at least a month.. Meaning it can only air dry and I can't ever style it. I was devastated. I had to cut around 4 inches off of my already short hair that I had been working on growing again (another $250). No one at spoil me rotten ever got back to me. I had to keep calling... I finally got ahold of Candice Tuesday morning she was nice about it and said I could have a refund, I came in and got my money and she claimed they would do a Brazilian blowout free of charge and see if they could fix it. After everything that happened, I really didn't want anyone there touching my hair but I was literally out of options and I just want my healthy hair back. I told Candice I would be calling to schedule a appointment after I thought about it. Her mother the owner also left me a kind message a week later explaining they're very professional and this never happens and that she would do a treatment for free like Candice said. This was 3 weeks ago, I've called 4 different times while they are all in the building and have been asked to leave a message, NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. They ruined my hair, promised they would try their best to fix it and then ignored me. Worst salon ever, I now have severely damaged sticky hair and will just have to keep doing deep conditioning treatments, and either let it air dry or throw it in a bun until it grows out. I will never go back to this salon. I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

I love this salon! The location is perfect with great parking. There is never any parking in Key West! The salon is trendy, beautiful and the view is amazing!
