I signed up online, for three classes, every other day and enjoyed every minute. The setting is serene in a lush but clean shaded jungle garden out back of a beautiful house with a water feature providing soothing sound energy. Victoria and Lauren were excellent teachers. I recommend both. My last class had a much smaller number of students so Lauren kindly took a little time to provide input on the poses so I can improve. I am enjoying this yoga journey filled with learning, meditation, flexibility, strength and positive vibes. Life is good with Yoga Sanctuary!

I loved it! Yoga on the beach is taught at the Southernmost on the Beach Hotel - Thur and Sat 9-10 am (check their website). Yoga mats and blocks are provided. Drop in class was $18 and well worth it. The teacher gears the class towards the average student of all levels. I'm excited to try aqua yoga tomorrow! Put on SPF sunblock, bring sunglasses, cash, and your good intentions. Be Present.

I've come to the conclusion that Bikram is not the Hot Yoga style for me…read more This is a lovely studio and the instructor who led our group is very knowledgeable and fit; however, I'm much more used to Hot Hatha or any of the other styles at Modo Yoga (formerly Moksha) up in Minneapolis, and the classes I've taken there are usually guided by chill Canadians and Minnesotans who play Doomtree, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson; and they encourage you to take your time and go at your own pace. So I suppose it really comes down to personal preference. If you'd like a very strict style that pushes you, this will be right up your alley. If you're already in pretty good shape, this is the place to come. And if you don't mind that there isn't a shower available, this will work out well for you. Personally, I don't like to be told when I can and cannot drink water.

The air quality has improved and the back of the studio room now has a barre for pre and post class stretching. This studio's owner has resided in Key West for well over fifteen years and is receptive to the needs, ideas and practices of locals, snowbirds and visitors. The studio is simple in decor, keeping clutter and decor to a sleek minimum, which is refreshing when all you want is a challenging, yet relaxing ninety minute class. Come with an open mind, no expectations and an extra buck or two for a LaCroix after class. This is a great place to try if you have never experienced a yoga class in your life. All bodies welcome!
