Mats and all other props are provided with the $17 drop in rate (12/23/18). When you arrive, the yoga studio is in the back of the building, tucked behind a juice bar/ natural store. I didn't try anything when I was there but it seemed very popular! If you're dropping in, head to the back, sign in and then pay the instructor after class. It is clear in the class description but to reiterate: this is not a class for beginners. That said, modified poses were welcomed but not talked through (so you'd need to be familiar with your options).

The setting is serene in a lush but clean shaded jungle garden out back of a beautiful house with a water feature providing soothing sound energy. Victoria and Lauren were excellent teachers. I recommend both. My last class had a much smaller number of students so Lauren kindly took a little time to provide input on the poses so I can improve. I am enjoying this yoga journey filled with learning, meditation, flexibility, strength and positive vibes. Life is good with Yoga Sanctuary!

Apparently my mother was off her mat doing a balancing pose and was told, "Are you sweating on my carpet?" and "Sweat on your own mat." My mother got on her mat and mentioned she does better off the mat. Instructor replied, "So? We all do." My mother was humiliated and embarrassed. This was not very yoga-like to command people to stay on their mats. I guess I'd be concerned they are not properly disinfecting/cleaning between classes if instructor feels the need to embarrass students who step off their mats. A great yoga instructor makes a student feel at ease and feel welcome. In this case, Marylee fell short of great.

The massage was GREAT and very needed. The rates were very reasonable as well--much less than what you'd pay at any of the spas on Key West!

If you communicate your aches and pains those areas will be targeted. As 25 year runner I had no idea how strong yoga would make me but, It took me over 2 years before I started actually listening to her and now the final healing has begun. I now have hopes of being a runner again. I only found yoga about 3 years ago and have done classes with maybe 8 teachers but, I believe anyone on any level would enjoy and benefit from classes with Kalyani.
