The trail has a soft black spongelike feeling that makes it wonderful for doing your groundwork exercises. Another benefit to the nicely cushioned trail is that it is enjoyable to jog from station-to-station between workouts. A few of the stations are too hard for me personally, like pull-ups and parallel bars for hand-walks and dips. For these stations I change it up and do Sally squats, lunges, wall sits, planks, etc. To keep the strength going for each section. A wonderful addition, though I would like to see some more stations added. There is plenty of room to accommodate more stations for sure. I will definitely get good use from this trail.

Mats and all other props are provided with the $17 drop in rate (12/23/18). When you arrive, the yoga studio is in the back of the building, tucked behind a juice bar/ natural store. I didn't try anything when I was there but it seemed very popular! If you're dropping in, head to the back, sign in and then pay the instructor after class. It is clear in the class description but to reiterate: this is not a class for beginners. That said, modified poses were welcomed but not talked through (so you'd need to be familiar with your options).

I've come to the conclusion that Bikram is not the Hot Yoga style for me…read more This is a lovely studio and the instructor who led our group is very knowledgeable and fit; however, I'm much more used to Hot Hatha or any of the other styles at Modo Yoga (formerly Moksha) up in Minneapolis, and the classes I've taken there are usually guided by chill Canadians and Minnesotans who play Doomtree, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson; and they encourage you to take your time and go at your own pace. So I suppose it really comes down to personal preference. If you'd like a very strict style that pushes you, this will be right up your alley. If you're already in pretty good shape, this is the place to come. And if you don't mind that there isn't a shower available, this will work out well for you. Personally, I don't like to be told when I can and cannot drink water.

The air quality has improved and the back of the studio room now has a barre for pre and post class stretching. This studio's owner has resided in Key West for well over fifteen years and is receptive to the needs, ideas and practices of locals, snowbirds and visitors. The studio is simple in decor, keeping clutter and decor to a sleek minimum, which is refreshing when all you want is a challenging, yet relaxing ninety minute class. Come with an open mind, no expectations and an extra buck or two for a LaCroix after class. This is a great place to try if you have never experienced a yoga class in your life. All bodies welcome!
