I came back to this same spa on my bday on April 2015. I came in first thing on a Friday morning. You walk in and it's super quiet with the calming sound of Chakra music and the smell of incense. I had only the deep tissue massage and the masseuse was great. She communicated with me in making sure I'm comfortable or if there were any points of interests she wanted to focus on. My wife and I booked a couples massage here and arrived early so we could cool down from the July heat. We were pleasantly surprised when we were created with cold glasses of water and invited to sit even though we were ridiculously early. What a wonderful ambiance. I felt like I was in a hut alone in Nepal in the evening. They really know where your pressure points are and work out every kink. I didn't even know I had kinks in some places. My fiancé surprised me with a couples' massage here, and it was really a highlight of our trip to Key West. Easy to find and relaxing from the moment we walked in. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and fun to talk to while we waited to go back. There were no lengthy forms to fill out, as the receptionist explained that the masseuses prefer to speak to you in person. I appreciated that because I often hate having to fill out tons of intake paperwork (sort of detracts from the experience, right?). Douglas and Karen escorted us to their couples' suite upstairs and it was delightful. Nice, open space with a private bath and shower. I believe the doors open up, but the day we visited was rainy so I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, we both raved over our massages. Karen was very sweet and professional and gave just the right amount of pressure. She made my upper body feel less tense and stressed and did a number on my calves, which were sore from walking all over the island. We booked a sixty minute but will do ninety in the future. The location is perfect walking and biking distance from just about any point on the island and parking is located across the street in case you're coming via car. The front lobby is cozy and the receptionist is freindly. When you pass the glass doors, you'll be guided to your massage room. Before entering, you'll remove your shoes and begin the experience. I am so sorry to all my massage therapist friends. I gave my first time away, to Prana Spa. But it's okay, because it was gentle and relaxing. I had booked with Prana long before I arrived in Key West, because I plan on spoiling myself on the birthday. I had that whole day planned out to the T, and Prana made sure they fit my appointment, even right before they go on vacation themselves. +1 already. Walked through the metal gate, stepped into the front door, and it was instant nirvana. On that side of the glass door was glaring sun, traffic noise, and chatter from passerby; in here, I get soothing music, flowing fountain and rolling stone, and a receptionist that talk as soft as a whisper when she offer me a cool glass of water. Another +1. I did mention this is my first time in a massage spa ever? Now I wonder why it took me so long to find this bliss. I booked one of the full package spa experience, "The Raj," and she done an amazing job; very attentive, very professional. +2 points! I had two services here on my most recent visit to Key West and I was very happy with both. First, my husband and I shared a couples massage, which was performed (administered? Hard not to sound dirty here) in their private loft space. We were both very pleased with it. While we were there, my husband booked me a facial for a few days later as a surprise. Now, I am not a fan of facials, I have never been big on people touching my face, but I enjoyed this one. My skin felt and looked great, and the facialist worked with me to find a treatment that would work for me. I appreciated that personalization. My one complaint is the oil they use for the massage - it is very heavy, and that feels awful in the Key West heat after. I realize it might be great massage oil, but a pro-tip would be to make sure you take a shower after! There is a shower up in the loft space, but I don't think there is one on the main floor. My star deduction is because I did have some trouble with the online appointment request form - even though I was requesting an appointment soon, and the system made it look like it was possible, no one called me back for a couple of days. When they did, there were many apologies, and we got it worked out for a massage a couple of days later, but it was really annoying (and a little disconcerting since you give them your credit card info) being set up to expect a prompt call back and not receive it. You might just want to call and use the receptionist during business hours. read more

Let me tell you...the superior reviews were CORRECT! I think I just had the best massage of my life. I highly recommend Gina. She took the time without taking away time from my 90 minute massage to discuss any areas I needed extra attention. I am allergic to a few ingredients in lotions. Gina even reviewed the ingredients in the lotion to make sure I wouldn't have a problem. I really appreciated her doing that for me. My husband and I were on vacation in Key West. We had been awake for about 24 hours and ready to get a start on our vacation. In advance of our trip, my husband did some research, found this place, and booked a couple massage (we decided on the 90minute massage). We walked to the spa from our B&B. From the outside it was quaint and inviting. We entered and it was nice and cool inside and very relaxing. We went upstairs to a larger room with two massage beds. We chatted briefly with our two massage therapists and then got to it- it was the best, most worthwhile massage I've ever paid for. My massage therapist was Ann. She was amazing. I was on a massage high for HOURS afterwards. Well worth the cost (and the cost is average by the way). I liked it so much I went back at the end of our trip (it was a rainy day, why not?). My second time I added on a facial. Jennifer was excellent and I will gladly go back next time I am in town. If you are in Key West and you need a massage or facial, check this place out. read more

I've been coming here for years, basically since the spa first opened, and it's always been wonderful. The owners, John and Mark, are really sweet people and they always make sure your experience is top notch and totally relaxing. As soon as you walk through the door, the noise outside dissipates and you're surrounded by soft music, and the sounds of a small fountain (which occasionally makes these soft "ding!" noises...makes me feel like I'm meditating). Relax and have a cool drink of water as you wait for your massage therapist to pick you up from the lobby. Once inside your treatment room, it's an even more relaxing experience. Yesterday I customized my massage and added aromatherapy. The massage therapist (who was the sweetest person ever) came into the room with some of the more popular essential oils, and I chose lavender and vanilla. She mixed them for me while I relaxed on the massage table. I had a wonderful 60 minute massage that was exactly what my body needed. It was so relaxing that I never wanted to leave. I've truly never had a bad experience here, and this is so much better than going to one of the local hotels for a massage. You'll never regret the time you spend at this wonderful place! read more

I had a Raj treatment session on Monday of this week. The male attendant informed me that he is conservative and the Abhanga massage would not be done as it is typically described. It also was just a regular massage, not done with warm oils over the body as I expected. I think that they should let you know before you are in the massage room that the massage will not be as what is the usual for a particular massage. Disappointed. read more

I went here on Christmas Eve for a little Merry Christmas to Me pampering on our family vacation to Key West. I booked the Raj treatment, and I highly recommend it for someone who wants a little of everything and has about 2.5 hours to burn. It started with an exfoliating facial scrub, followed by a full body scrub, then a full body massage, and finally a nourishing oil treatment for the scalp and hair. The oil treatment was my favorite part...I've never had anything like it before. And my hair was fabulously soft and silky for days afterwards. The spa is in a charming old Key West home, and the only downside to that is the limited space. It's such a tiny house that there's no true waiting room. I love a good spa waiting room - dark, quiet spa music playing, refreshing cucumber water to sip on in a plush robe. But hey, there's just no room for that here, and that's not their fault. The front porch is nice and filled with lush plants, so if it's warm out, you could enjoy waiting out there. We were just there during a time when it was absurdly cold for Key West, so sitting outside wasn't as comfortable as it could have been. Also, it's just about a block from the Hemingway House, so you can make a fun afternoon of it and take a tour after your massage. read more

Just had an amazing hot stone massage. The treatment room was comfortable, just the right temp & the table was long enough to support my 6' 4" frame. The masseuse was thorough and strong, paid extra attention to my feet and ankles, as requested (I'm on my feet all day at work). It was a wonderful experience! The upstairs loft allows for a couples massage, though I was the only one there. It's a very soothing experience from the moment you walk in. Nice, calming zen type music plays in the background, everything is peaceful. The young lady who gave me my massage asked a few questions and then got down to work. She was WONDERFUL! Great ability to find those knots.. Yes.. THAT one that's in the middle of your shoulder blades. She worked out every kink, every bit of tight, even the calf muscles that were still screaming from the long drive down. I had a sore left muscle by my rib in the back... Yeah.. She found that too. The massage I just had here was that intensely transcendeful (yes it deserves a new word to combine transcendent and wonderful). Jaenette gave me a deep tissue massage that ridded me of all my deep knots, which usually means an hour of pain, and skillfully went from intense to flowing pressure where I was immersed the entire time and felt completely taken care of, body and soul.
