I don't have high expectations for most Asian massage places. I have had multiple neck surgeries and they help me keep a small range of motion. I prefer women therapists, I reached out before my massage and asked if Mimi was working, they said no, and asked if another girl would be ok. I said yes and walked over. I told the man who greeted me that I had just texted and he said ok. I didn't even realize the room at the front was a massage room. I thought it was a coat closet. When he opened it, it was so small the table was kitty corner. I'm like whatever and got undressed and under the sheet. Then a few minutes later a man came in, I assumed the girl was finishing up and would take over, but nope he stayed the whole time. The reason I prefer women is because they don't feel they have to prove anything and will massage you and not try to break you. Every time he moved around the table it pushed my neck down and my chin was hitting the hard edge of the table. Elbows on my spine, just digging in uncomfortably hard. When the massage ended I left very sore, and will probably need another massage in a few days to recover. read more

My massage therapist was John. My friend's massage therapist was Tony. We each got 3 hours of deep tissue massage. Both massage therapists are very knowledgeable and clearly know what they are doing. My back pain went away like it was never there! My friend also said the same thing with her back muscle pains. We went to see the same people again (two days in a row) before leaving Key West. They were that good!!!! We would definitely go back there and request for them again! :) As for the facility, the rooms are okay or what you would expect from an Asian massage place, nothing fancy at all, but it's clean and the quality of massage we got and the aftermath condition of the body was so much better than expected. As a connoisseur of massage therapy (because I always get one at least once a week), I would rate John, my massage therapist, a 100/10, THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! I wish I could put him in my suitcase and move to Virginia and work there instead. lol I've never met someone who really knows the human body and the skeletal & muscular system and knows how to get rid of back pain completely. I thought he was a magician!!! ProTip: let them know ahead of time where your pain is at or what part of the body you want them to focus on for deep tissue, as well as parts of the body you do not want deep tissue applied. The male masseuse I had was completely inappropriate with me. He kept calling me cute, touching me in places to "make sure I didn't get fat", massaged my breasts under the sheet without consent, removed sheet so he saw me in my underwear, and pinched my nipples. We ended our trip to the keys in Key West on New Year's Eve. We were in dire meed of massages after an active week. Healing Source were the first to call us when I called and was able to accommodate our schedule. Side bar: we've had very expensive massages ($500 in HI) and were very disappointed the higher end massage establishments were too snobby to return out call. Too bad for them, great for us! We had a much needed couples deep tissue massage, by far one of the best ones we've had. We were unaware it was Asian massage and were pleasantly surprised to learn Dr Hao is trained in Chinese medicine and was able to pinpoint the areas that needed attention. Run, don't walk here. I had a 90 minute massage during my trip to Key West and it was honestly the best massage I have ever had (and I get massages often). You know during massages when they are massaging a spot and you say "omg, yes" in your head. That was the entire 90 minutes. My niece and I visited here while on vacation in Key West. Upon research, Healing Source had the best prices @ $70 an hour. I booked a 90 minute, hot stone couples massage. There was no extra charge for hot stone either, and in most places there is. While there, we decided to extend it to 2 hours. This was my first experience with Asian massage and I'm sold on it! My therapist read my body and what it needed. I carry all of my tension in my upper back and shoulders, he spent about 80% of his time there. He also used reflexology techniques and I'm sure other techniques of ancient medicine. I felt like my neck and shoulders had been unlocked. Never have I ever felt so good after a massage. This salon did not have the frills and atmosphere of an upscale salon, so if that's what you're after I would suggest somewhere else. While this is a no frills massage, Dr. Yau is beyond amazing at feeling out your bodies aches and pains and eventually easing and rolling them right on out to literally make you feel like an altogether new person! He applies whatever technique is necessary for the best results from hot stones and cupping, compresses and a double set of hands. It is fairly easy to get in same day you call which is wonderful when you are in pain and he can just take that away! So it's was really windy in Key sweat and are snorkeling trip was cancelled. What do we do now??? How about a massage. We found this place online, the pictures looked outdated but looking at my fellow helpers 5 star reviews we decided to give this place a try. The place is outdated and yes could use some cosmetic upgrades. There are no thrills just room, bed, reception area. The reason for the 5 stars- wow massage was amazing. However, after booking a 90 minute massage it felt like the therapist simply pushed on my back through a sheet for the first 30 minutes to let the clock run before getting to the real work of the massage. (My masseuse had to walk out a few times to answer the door) There was no tranquil music playing in my room but the walls are thin and you could hear the music coming from another room. If you just care about getting a good massage at a reasonable price then head here. It might be a little painful for some as a good majority of it is done with your masseuse standing on top of you. My girl and I stopped in out of the blue to see when we could make an appointment. It was first thing when they opened so the guy behind the counter asked if we wanted to get a massage now. We actually had laundry in the dryer at the laundromat that would be done soon but we decided to wait on the laundry lol and I am so glad we did. They brought us to a room with two massage tables, the room was very clean and inviting so we undressed and waited for them to enter. Both were 100% legit massage therapists. Not sure if I can even describe what they did but it was heaven and since I have nerve pain in my shoulder and lower left back i can tell you without telling them where my pain was I noticed they "found" all my sore spots and they spent extra time on each spot. That takes some training to do so that is why I know they are legit. We did the 1.5 hour massage and the feeling of relaxation we felt when they were done was amazing. Five stars doesn't do this place justice they deserve more. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back before our vacation is over. read more
