I just called and cancelled a second time in a row. Part because I'm dealing with my autoimmune flare ups and not feeling well enough but mostly because I do not want my personal issue broadcasted to other people. I would like a different therapist at a different location who can respect my need for privacy and not humiliate me in front of people in the waiting room and talking loudly about my condition while we were in the room. Pretty sure people could still hear her. She talked about it very loudly during our conversation.

I went to this group for seeking therapy for vertigo (vestibular therapy). Had no clue that such a therapy even existed!! Luke Atkins was my therapist. He was extremely professional, pleasant, patient and caring. His initial evaluation of my condition was meticulous. He explained each process to me in a simple and in a rationale manner. As a result, I was able to comprehend why certain things were done. I am currently a very happy person, symptomless and well versed in how to deal with my vertigo if it returns. Absolutely abhorrent and horrifying levels of apathy. My family member was bedridden in the…read morehospital for nearly 2 months; her PCP, social workers, OT, PT, wound care nurse all agreed she was a prime candidate for rehab. The doctors here turned her away for being "too unhealthy." We got an ER evaluation the next day, where the doctors involved also concurred with her need for rehab, and when we sent that evaluation to Lancaster Rehab, they now claimed she was "too healthy" --ONE DAY after claiming the opposite-- and rejected her once more. Luckily there are other rehabs around that are more willing to uphold their responsibility and duty to care for those who need them most. But I would stay as far away from here as possible -- they do not want to help you!

The day I was in the office she began to complain about my insurance and gave the doctor a bit of a hard time as well about it. She went ahead and scheduled me even against her desire too and 45 minutes later called me and moved my surgery date, which I was ok with because it was the same week. 3 days before the surgery I call to confirm and I come to find out that I wasn't scheduled. When speaking with the scheduler, she claimed they rejected the location but when I spoke with my insurance carrier they said they approved it and told her that! They new her name and time of call. Then she has the never to tell me to wait 3 more weeks! Unprofessional. Unrealistic and not a way to behave for a medical office.

First visit to discuss need for surgery or options, he walks in room at 8 AM yawning (like this is going to be boring) my husband and daughter were with me as they were both concerned about my issues. The only way Dr Hernandez could even guess which person was the patient was by seeing age, birthdate and female, but he made no attempt to introduce himself or learn anything about me. Every question I asked was answered with a one or two word snarky answer. He refused to answer any post surgery questions via portal or my phone calls to nurse line! He definitely has an attitude, "I'm a good surgeon and to Hell with you"! I've had 18 surgeries in 82 years and he had the most arrogant demeanor of any surgeon I ever encountered! I am not a difficult patient, I do not need to be catered to, i only need to be treated with respect! When I had my first post op visit with him, he had not reviewed anything, I asked if he had PT report from my therapist in Florida, he said no, as he was scrolling on computer I saw the report and told him so! I asked him about my most recent ex ray, he pulled up old ex ray and proceeded to show me arthritis in my neck, showed me nothing about the after surgery ex ray, I found out later he had not even reviewed it at that point!

I had gout for the first time. It affected my left foot big toe joint and after months of diet…read moremodification and medications nothing helped. The mini flare ups kept over several months kept my mobility limited. I was told that Rivera Physical Therapy had a phase 4 laser and they had success with using it on gout affected joints. I just had my last of my three appointments, and lo and behold; I have full range in my big toe. The pain and redness are gone. A true Miracle! I would recommend anyone suffering from gout to give Lou Rivera a call and try this laser therapy. If there were more than 5 stars I would go higher!!!!
