However, after sharing my experience with friends, several told me they avoid the place entirely, describing it as feeling more like a "factory" than personalized care. I would not recommend Hartz Physical Therapy based on this experience--potential patients deserve clear communication and actual treatment for their money

We live 45 minutes away but it's connected to Wellspan, so we decided to use them since all her other doctors are with Wellspan. The first issue is that the GPS directions to the office take you to a CVS store and you have to find the actual office on your own. The second and much more frustrating issue is that because my mom has mobility issues and walks quite slowly with her walker, we arrived 12 minutes past her appointment time. When I spoke to the person at the reception desk, she said they have a "10 minute policy" and that my mom would have to reschedule her appointment. I told them we had driven 45 minutes to get there and they could clearly see she has issues walking, but they didn't care. I let them know we would be making an appointment with another provider because we're certainly NOT returning to them. It took longer than 2 minutes for her to walk from the handicap parking spot to the office. They could have seen her through the windows as she approached the office. It's difficult for her to get out of the house and for us to go through that and drive 45 minutes one way only to be turned away was absolutely ridiculous. My mom got back in the car in tears. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated by this whole experience and we will be making out next appointment with a provider who has no association with Martin foot and ankle

I noticed within 6 months that the left foot orthodic was wearing thin and making a hole at the heal. I went back to Martin's and was told that it would cost me $400 to replace the defective product with which I was provided provided 6 months ago. I was thoroughly dissapointed that this company had no concern about their patient's care. It appears that they are more concerned about the dollars in their pocket than taking care of their patient. I am sure if they contacted the manufacture of this defective product and told them of the problem, the manufacturer would make things right if they wanted to keep their business. I just called and cancelled a second time in a row. Part because I'm dealing with my autoimmune flare ups and not feeling well enough but mostly because I do not want my personal issue broadcasted to other people. I would like a different therapist at a different location who can respect my need for privacy and not humiliate me in front of people in the waiting room and talking loudly about my condition while we were in the room. Pretty sure people could still hear her. She talked about it very loudly during our conversation.

I went to this group for seeking therapy for vertigo (vestibular therapy). Had no clue that such a therapy even existed!! Luke Atkins was my therapist. He was extremely professional, pleasant, patient and caring. His initial evaluation of my condition was meticulous. He explained each process to me in a simple and in a rationale manner. As a result, I was able to comprehend why certain things were done. I am currently a very happy person, symptomless and well versed in how to deal with my vertigo if it returns. He told me to lie down , he started to poke his fingers deep into my right side of rip cage . Worst and most horrifying part was his unprofessionalism !!! (Unbelievable... can't make this stuff up )he was talking to another patient while doing it! I screamed and he still kept jabbing and hurting. I said " Focus on what your doing ! Then yelled to that patient he kept talking to" does this guy know what he's doing ?" No one responded. No one came to have my back .They all just looked at me like they were annoyed and then he gave an attitude ... then he told me to put weight on that right knee I told him I had previous pain, to do an exercise , I yelled again it hurt and why would you have me put pressure on the knee I told you I used to have pain in..I AGAIN asked him to focus on me and he still acted annoyed . I would not recommend this PT therapy department to anyone ! I have 2 family members that are physical therapists in this area that were shocked and appalled to the horrible and disgusting care I received . I really do not think Adam and the rest of this physical therapy should be working with People at all. I will never recommender this Incompetent and unprofessional Business that has no compassio at all for their patients .
