Dr. Barry offers both manual manipulation, as well as more technical stuff, using different machines, etc. and typically has a masseuse in the office to do therapeutic massage - just be sure to call ahead to schedule a massage. One thing that really stood out to me relative to other practitioners was that he measured my physiology (i.e. the geometry of my arms, legs, neck, head, jaw etc.) at the first visit. We discussed my lifestyle and WHY I am out of alignment in specific areas. This empowered me to address areas outside of visits where my lifestyle was causing me to alter the geometry of my body, and in response I focused on changing my posture which was putting undue strain on muscles, bones, and joints. I like that he offers manual manipulation, which I call "the old school way" it gets the satisfying crack and gives me the instant gratification of feeling a big difference between before and after. Now I stand straighter, keep my shoulders back, and have arranged my desk to keep myself from hunching over a computer screen.
