Prairie kitchen has been very busy every time we have passed through Ada, so we decided to give it a shot last time we were in town. They must have a big following from locals, but I would rate it 3.5 stars. While the service was friendly, the food was just ok. I think the fried okra was the best thing. My burger was lacking in flavor, so that was disappointing. We will probably try something else next time we are in town.

Beware the club is not a club... Club in my book is turkey, ham & cheese..they charged $1.25 for one slice of turkey... Won't be back

I didn't plan to spend the rest of my day sprawled out on a lawn chair, rubbing my belly and groaning (sometimes in contentment, and other times in discomfort), but here I am! Don't make my mistake...You must PLAN for this monumental burger occasion, otherwise you'll lose track of every goal you had set for the day!!! Don't mimic my failure! Like a Grizzly Bear, barely dragging his fat butt & full belly out of the river, after gorging the smorgasbord of spawning salmon, I'm going to go find a cave to crawl into and hibernate for the season. The burger was great had the fresh patty taste. Fries were ok but I'm not a big fan of soft fries. The main problem I had was it had way too much seasoning. But the people were very friendly and service was great. The inside was very nice and clean and musics level was perfect. I give is a solid 7 Partner: 58 yr male- he had the moo burger with reg. Fries. Just an ok burger, not really a place he would visit again. He gave is a 5 Daughter: 17yrs female- she had loaded fries. She liked it but again her issue was the Cajun seasoning. They put the seasoning on top of everything. But even with that issue she gave it a solid 7 Granddaughter: 2yrs- she loved it only issue was no high chair

What type of food makes you nostalgic? I had the chance to join my dad for a quick lunch and we…read moredecided to visit the Whip Dip which is a local spot in Ada. They are primarily known for their burgers that have a generous seasoning of salt and pepper. However, you might be surprised at the extensive amount of sides they offer, which include many goodies ranging from savory things like Fried Okra to sweet like Fried Oreos. They were busy on a Thursday at lunch, but the line moved quickly and they have servers walk up to your car beforehand so by the time you make it to the window, your order is ready. This is a cash only place but even a hearty meal for two was around $15. They do have some picnic tables outside if the weather is nice but everyone we watched took their order to go. My food was hot and fresh, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. If you're not prepared for the excess pepper, fair warning, but for me it is a simple twist on a classic entree. I also ordered the waffle fries as my side and they were fantastic. You can really taste that they were fresh out of the fryer. A meal like this is nice to enjoy in the car with the windows down, before you go about your day, and is a great excuse to make you feel like a kid again, like your getting away with something. I would recommend ordering many different sides to try which ones you like the best and enjoy it with family and friends!
