I don't know it is about Stratford and their cooking. The home cooked meals here are unbelievable. I know now why this is a happy little town. I'll update with pictures when I can. We've had two lunch specials here. One was the lasagna and a big heavenly eye roll on that. The other was the Indian taco and the same and you need to watch out just the mention of this restaurant will leave you Salivating like Pavlov's dog. read more

If this was any other day it probably would have been a 5 star rating. I have never had an issue with the restaurant except one time I sent my food back because I was served raw chicken. I have a bad allergy to tomatoes. I ordered the southwest chicken salad and told them no tomatoes. I get it and it is loaded with tomatoes. I told the waitress I can't have any tomatoes because I am allergic to them. So she took it back and brought me another. It too had tomatoes. I asked her don't they understand no tomatoes. So the owner brought one out with Frito chips on it, which I did not ask for. So I started moving them aside and low and behold right in top were tomatoes. I said something to my husband and the owner turned around and said what's wrong now. I told her there are still tomatoes. I told her I am allergic to them and didn't feel like dying today. She picked up my plate and yelled at me "WE CAN NEVER SATISFY YOU ANYWAY" I told her just take it off my bill. She charged us for it anyway. I was absolutely livid. If someone has a food allergy, you out of your way to make sure the food you are serving them dies not have the very thing that could kill them. read more

I was in Stratford for the Peach Festival with a buddy of mine who grew up here. We stopped in for lunch. To be fair we each ordered a different burger and the burgers were so huge we ordered nothing else. I forget the name of the burger I had but it had fried Jalapeno's on it and it was a very good burger. My friend got the queso burger and it looked amazing and according to him it tasted better than it looked. Great service and wonderful food that was so good we wanted more but those burgers were so big we couldn't eat more. read more

This restaurant is an absolute gem. They a diverse menu of options to choose from. Their homemade breakfast is excellent and is honestly the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere else. The portions are perfect and for great prices. I am a fan of this absolute masterpiece of an establishment. Completely wonderful home town town diner/café. We were in Stratford for the annual Peach festival, so you know everywhere would be busy. They brought in family and lots of extra staff to handle everything. The food was exactly what you would expect from a really good Hometown diner. read more

Some friends and I went in for breakfast the other day they weren't busy at all it took 45 mins to get our food and when it finally came out the hash browns and bacon were so burnt u couldn't even eat them we were very disappointed needless to say we don't recommend this place and we will not be going back read more
