Then I ask to take the ham off my sandwich and she tells me in a rude way "there is no ham on this sandwich". I get the same sandwich every time and there's ham every time. I have even asked for no ham before and been granted that wish. Hopefully she'll be kinder next time and study on heavenly buns sandwiches

I ordered a combo plate which was smoked sausage, sliced brisket and had 2 good sized ribs with it. For sides, it came with beans and coleslaw. Service was good, the wait staff was polite, and the food made it to the table in short time. First thing i ate was my sides. Starting with the beans, they were served hot, but had nothing in them besides just beans. No chopped onions, peppers...not even any salt that I could taste. But, I doctored em up with some hot sauce and they were tasty enough. Next up was the coleslaw. It was diced pretty fine, was very sweet, and reminded me a lot of KFC slaw, so if you like that, you'll like this. The meat. This is kinda where it goes downhill for me. When I walk into a bbq restaurant, I wanna smell smoked meat. Maybe the meat is smoked off sight? Not sure. But then when I started in on the meat, the smokey flavor was so faint, it was hard to tell if these ribs, sausage and brisket had spent any time at all in a smoker. Some people would say this meat was probably boiled, and then finished up in a smoker, but I won't say that for sure. I just know that the meat was kinda bland. I did taste some of my wife's catfish however, and it was very good, aside from needing a little hot sauce. I'd go back for the catfish and I'd like to try one of their Indian tacos sometime, but i probably won't try the bbq again.

Not sure how they cooked it, but it had spices that tasted good, garlic pepper (again i am a fan of both). The steak had the best flavor, and was a good cut of meat, and tender, even though it was slightly overcooked. Maybe 45 seconds to long on either side, I know it's a fine line and i didn't complain nor would i because it didn't affect it at all. Keep on Cookin!!!!!
