We just ate lunch here. Our waitress told us we couldn't order any mixed drinks unless they were on the menu. All we were trying to order was a double Jack and Coke.She also brought us two beers that spilled out under the table because she put too much salt in them. the food was cold and has no flavor. We also waited over 30 minutes on our ticket after we got our food. There was a sign on the front door that said limited seating due to being shortstaffed. The bathrooms were so disgusting we told them they needed to clean them before we left. I would not recommend wasting your money. We spent almost $80 and left very unsatisfied. read more

When you place an order you expect that the food that you ordered will come out hot. Everything that I ordered on my plate was lukewarm saw the manager and advised him. What does he do? Picking up carry out, I was shocked at the price of a single meat plate with two sides ($13.98, plus one loaded spud with brisket $9.09). This was my first time here and although the menu items resemble that of a similar place in Dallas, TX (Dickies) that's ALL that resembles the other place I prefer. Customer service over the phone was absolutely terrible, I figured maybe it was a bad connection or something and the poor girl couldn't hear me? Well let's just say the customer service was severely lacking BOTH on the phone AND IN PERSON. Perhaps the hostess was just hired for her mediocre looks? Anyway she certainly lacks basic listening skills (and my humble opinion she won't be winning any "T shirt contest" either). I'll post an update regarding the overall quality of the food (I actually had to explain to her I was not eating all of this food by myself in order to get a second plastic flatware packet before I left). I might be back if I feel like throwing away hard earned money and watching the blonde try to figure out what spoken English is? At this point that is doubtful. There are two other bar-b-que places nearby and both of them aren't trying to sell their name, just good tasting barbecue. UPDATE; The brisket was dry and chewed like cooked shoe leather. There was no smoke ring typically found in slow smoked brisket nor was there the typical caramelized crusty surface. The spice rub used was clearly visible and over applied to try and cover up other imperfections. I would say this brisket was NOT SKOW SMOKED AT ALL but rather cooked in an oven and passed off as actual smoked barbecue. I could have gotten better meat at the local Walmart Deli section. The "Sweet & Smokey beans", another disappointment, no smoky flavor at all, the sweetness resembled that of a mixture of molasses and sweet onions, there was a distinct peppery aftertaste. The potato salad, well it was comparable to your everyday deli potato salad. Actually it turned out to be the only item my wife found palatable. The "Super Spud" with brisket? Well mamma always said if you can't say something nice... There was very VERY little butter or sour cream. Someone just doesn't know how to serve a baked potato. I actually had to put salt on this to even make it palatable myself and I generally speaking have a cast iron stomach. To say the least, I will NOT be returning to this restaurant for anything else. If I were the owner I would be too embarrassed to admit it. This was the worst $25.23 I have spent for food during my last four months while I've been in Ada, OK. And before you accuse me of thinking only Texas has decent barbecue let me point out that while I have eaten barbecue ALL OVER THE WORLD, some things most people fathom eating, the best barbecue in the country short of my own is located in Pigeon Forge, TN at a little hole in the wall storefront behind the miniature golf course as you enter town. read more

NEVER Again. Not only is what they serve a sad excuse for BBQ. The only thing on the plate that was good was the fried okra and French fries. Between my Husband and I we had baby back ribs, smoked sausage and sliced brisket. Ribs were the worst, tasted old and re-heated after they've been frozen. Decided to call in an order for a brisket sandwich and two meat combo for our Friday night date. Said it would be ready in twenty minutes. We give it twenty five and I go in and still have to wait. Not busy thanks to covid. I ask for hot and mild bbq sauce. He tells me they are in the sack. Drive home (10 minutes) only to realize they left out the two meat combo. I know shame on me for not looking before I left. We call and the same young man said come on back and we won't charge you my wife said "but we already paid for it!" Go back (10 more minutes) tell him I am there to pick up my food that was left out and it's not ready. Ten minutes later a girl comes out and hands me my food and says sorry. An hour after we ordered I get home to my wife's cold sandwich and fries and guess what? No hot bbq sauce. Never again rib crib and it's a shame because we like your food. read more

Highly disappointed. We got the full rack of baby back ribs and one slab was ok. The other was extremely dry and looked like it was from yesterday's leftovers. Whenever I visit my Oklahoma relatives, I always insist that we make at least one stop in Ada to eat at Rib Crib. This is an excellent restaurant! We always receive prompt and curteous service, the food arrives quickly, the plates are HUGE, and the food is tasty. I recommend any of the ribs (of course) and if you have a lighter appetite the salad is also great. They put little tortilla strips in the salad which are very tasty and add a unique touch. The pork sandwich is also great. I could go on about every item but I'll stop. Just trust me...this place is awesome. read more

Staff was quite friendly, but food was way below standard. I had a chopped brisquit sandwich and fried okra. The meat was cold and completely tasteless. The only thing that made it edible was the addition of some nice barbeque sauce. Okra was cold and greasy. Wife ordered ribs which were not very warm. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Ada. The BBQ is excellent, as well as their sides; I highly recommended the club sandwich. Takeout is usually pretty quick, and prices are hard to beat for quality BBQ. read more

Visited the Rib Crib in Ada a couple of days ago. My first visit at the Ada store and one other time in Lawton. The staff was friendly after I got seated. The person seating patrons showed up at the front desk after a 7 to 8 minute wait. Not a god sign. But the wait staff was good. The Food was in the ok category, nothing bad, certainly not good bbq. However, on the way out, decided to use the rest room. If I would have used this facility first, I would have left...........If this is the way they maintain there rest room, what is the kitchen and food prep area like??????...............You remember in years past, service station rest rooms and we always joked about you really had to go if you used one of them. Well, this rest room brought back those memories. Toilet paper all over the floor, the sink was yellow with dirt stains. ( I mean this sink hadn't been cleaned with comet or other products in months or even years.), the soap dispenser was broken, the toilet paper dispenser was barely hanging on the wall, and I think you can imagine what the toilet looked like (didn't even want to flush with my foot). However, the light did work, but that may have been a bad thing because you could see. I did notice that all of the wait staff was all female and of course they didn't use this restroom so I gave the business a little plus for that. I finished my business and was waiting for my girl who was using the other restroom. While waiting I though I was pass this on to the manager who promptly appeared. Without explaining anything, I just walked down the hallway and showed her. Her only comment was " that really bad". I will say this about her, she didn't give me any excuses. It's just really bad. The Rib crib has probably has lost my business, the one in Ada for sure........but the experience did reflect those old memories of those old filling station restroom.
