I was in town for training and my partner and I wanted something quick. Read the reviews and saw the pictures and we decided to give this place a try. Walked in it looked like an old school diner. It looked clean and nice inside. Server came up quick and gave us menues. I saw that there was 1/2 price burgers and asked about them. She explained it and i think i got the Diner Double with onion rings. The order came out pretty quick and I was pleased with the meal burger looked fresh and the veggies looked crisp. Onion rings looked crispy. For bring an unknown restaurant to me i was extremely pleased and surprised. The burger tasted was great and the onion rings tasted great I killed that burger and rings in no time. -Burger 6 outa 10 good not the best looking burger but flavor was on point -Onion rings 7 outa 10 just the way I like them crispy and hot -Server 10 outa 10 very attentive i believe I had 1 complaint and she fixed it with no issue. I went to boomerang with my clients & boomerang put my peach fried pie into my clients bag. My client had already taken a bite when I realized she had the wrong pie. Boomerang gave my ranch to my other client because she asked for it after she paid for other stuff. I asked for ranch before I paid & was charged for it, but never got it. When I called to complain the lady said "sorry we'll do better next time" so I lost out in money. I asked for manager, manager agreed to replace my fried pie. I wasn't going to take my pie back after someone touched it. I couldn't tell which pie was which either. My client was supposed to get cherry, well she got both of them. Edges of my Patty Melt sandwich was hard on the meat. Wasn't happy at all. I probably won't go back after today. Still never received my ranch. read more

The waitress was friendly & attentive. All the items I ordered were made to order so call ahead to order if you are in a rush. The cheeseburger was excellent. Definitely a must try if you like cheeseburgers and never ate one from here before. The burger has some tasty fresh ingredients like lettuce, and onions. We found the friendliest place in town! I sat at the stools in the back as the front was really busy. This was a good sign in small town America! The burger was well worth the price and the fries were just right! I also had a piece of the chocolate pie and it was just like grandma made!!! Awful service time. Ordered a single 3-egg omelette with cheese. It took nearly an hour for the omelette, hashbrowns and a biscuit to be brought to the table. First bad experience at a Boomerang. Ordered curbside while traveling. Arrived 12 min later, called, they said they had just received the order. Waited another 45 min and went in to check, was told they were getting it ready. 5 min later, laid bags on counter. I can't rate the food as I could have gotten $48 worth of cold food anywhere. read more

We were in town for a basketball tournament and decided to stop in here for breakfast. The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and attentive. We tried the Western omelette and the Spanish omelette. Delicious! Great atmosphere with a golden oldies theme. Can't think of anything negative to say about this place. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Cheap and quick burger basket. They serve breakfast all day! When you're looking for typical American diner food, this is a good place. If you are looking for gourmet, this is not the place. This place is neat! They have the best burgers! Perfect amount of flavor and really quality beef. The fries are crispy and just the right amount of salty. They serve breakfast all day. Their pancakes are like homemade. I ordered a Coke float and it was fabulous. The atmosphere is fun and the wait staff is friendly. I'm a teacher and they sent everyone at my school a free token for burgers. It is really nice when a local company appreciates its educators. Must visit! read more

This nasty place doesn't even deserve 1 star! Went in for AYCE Fish... An hour later and all I had in front of me was some slaw the waitress threw together... They didn't have any made up. It was dry & hard, of course because ummm slaw has to set. Slaw was falling out of the bowl when she put it in the table. Oh the violations I watched going on as my table was adjacent to the kitchen! My waitress when getting my drink, grabbed a lemon from the container with her bare, dirty hands! The WAIT STAFF was touching their face and hair then preparing the plates to be served to tables again, no gloves. The way they were arranging the food... handling the food then rags, etc -OMG! I was appalled. I waited and watched. Finally got up and told the waitress after 3 different waitresses asked if I had been helped, I was leaving. One said, "Sweetie has your order still not come, let me check on it!" She went and checked but didn't report her findings, just avoided the fact my order still wasn't ready or had been forgotten. That was at the hour mark. I was just waiting to see how long it was gonna take because I certainly didn't plan on eating it after what I was witnessing. ALL YOU CAN EAT??? Can you imagine how long I would have been waiting for seconds?! - lol!!! BTW the restaurant was not busy - 3 available tables and a few finishing when I walked in. I am calling the Health Dept ASAP! The toast was about the only thing I could rate as good. The omelette wasn't completely done. The service could use some major improvement. I had to actually get up and ask for someone to take our order after we waited for entirely too long to place an order. We never received refills on our drinks. Am new to the area and have been looking for a while for a good place for fish. I FOUND IT! Servings are good portions and not fried chunks but good size filet portions. I was surprized that there were no other eateries that served fish or other seafood here. I do miss having a good selection of seafoods and no place here. This restaurant is average at best. The food is over priced for what you het. It is set up to look like an old diner. The food is okay, but it is nothing to brag about. Patty melt are real good and southern omelet is excellent but service sucks! Walked in about 6mnths ago and parked my tail in a booth by door and waited and waited 4 more customers walked in and was waited on so I got up and left. A police officer seen me enter and leave. About 4-5 mnths went by and went back and maybe a staff change had been in progress but one old waitress was still hanging around so the last 2 mnths went by and I ordered a patty melt, tatters and 1/2 order of fried pickles with no ?????? asked until today! The waitress told me that I was wrong on 1/2 order of pickles they had to be full order, Tried to explain and she was rude as HELL on explaining why? JUST GIVE A PATTY MELT,TATTERS AND FRIED PICKLES charge extra for pickles or tatters. Thanks I will not be back on MY green back dollar. read more
