Here are the reasons why Born 2 Dance is absolutely amazing:…read more1) Low commitment: Life happens, drop in classes means that you don't have to feel guilty about losing money when you cannot attend a class. 2) Gorgeous studio space: The whole studio is efficiently run with large, modern, and clean practice areas with all of the bells and whistles 3) Expansive options: This is not your average ballet/tap/jazz studio. Born 2 Dance offers extensive classes and workshops for both adults, teens, and children in styles that include K-pop, hip hop, salsa, bachata, sensual dancing, belly dancing, pom, acro, and more! 4) Event space: We were initially invited to Born 2 Dance for a toddler birthday party and were blown away by the beautiful and spacious party room with attached play area. Everything was really well thought out and seamless and the party package even included a toddler dance class! 5) Proximity to a coffee shop: Simply Social is within walking distance which means sitting in a waiting room while my child dances is a lot more enjoyable

I had a really fun time taking a recent Cardio Hip-Hop class. The check-in process was easy. I…read moreasked the person at the counter if they took any classes there and they did. The check-in person was super welcoming and told me about some of the other dance formats offered there. This dance studio caters to both children and adults. So you will see kids running around, which is ok, but I am not really used to. The class started on time. The instructor had great energy and encouraged us to have fun and do things our own style. I haven't been dancing in a while, so I knew it would be a good challenge for me. I really had a lot of fun. My only surprise is that the classes are only 60 mins. I think they ought to be 70 minutes to include a proper 5 min warm-up and 5-minute cool-down. There wasn't a lot of warming up in the beginning of this particular class. I've taken adult dance classes for years and I am used to something that include some warm-up movements to get the rotating joints going, like neck rolls, shoulder rolls, and hip and lower back movements. The class did include a relaxing cool down with stretching for the lower body and upper body. I plan to take more Hip-Hop style classes. They offer Cardio Hip-Hop, Beginner Hip-Hip and more advanced levels, Sensual Dance, Twerk, Ballet, Shuffle, Street Jazz and a lot more. I plan to try about 5 more formats and sign-up for one class for the summer session. I highly recommend this place!

I didn't realize that these were part of ballroom dancing until I arrived. I found this place via MeetUp, and they had offered to introduce me to their class. And, knowing me, I love trying new things, so I couldn't help but jump on the offer! To make things even more fun, I proposed this to a first date, and *spoiler alert* he is still part of my life, haha. So, what does that mean? This place has some magic brewing about. The class: It was about 1 hour long, and I felt completely at home. It was an introductory class where we learned the basics of ballroom dancing. I love how the "leads" have to ask the "followers" out for a dance prior to dancing with them. The whole experience was met with tons of smiles, laughter, and memories. I'm definitely coming back for another class once I figure out my schedule, and I couldn't recommend this place more! They make you feel right at home while ensuring that you have a fantastic time here. I also loved how they teased me about my date, haha. And, yes, he enjoyed it as well! The first time for both of us.

We both came in with two left feet and weren't aiming for anything elaborate, just something more polished than swaying awkwardly and trying not to step on each other. Michele was fantastic--patient, encouraging, and so much fun to work with. She taught us a few simple steps that completely transformed the experience. Not only did we feel more confident, but we genuinely had a great time during our lessons. We shared a lot of laughs, and she made us feel totally at ease. Thanks to Michele and Elegant Dancing, our moment on the dance floor felt natural and memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add a special touch to their big day!

Thought an incident occurred at NZone in Chantilly, VA, around 6:30 PM in the basketball area and…read moreto request immediate follow-up.My 14-year-old son, along with several of his friends (all middle and high school students), were playing basketball when an adult male, estimated to be in his late 30s or early 40s, became extremely aggressive. The man was present with his young son. When a basketball contacted the hoop while he was speaking to his child, he reacted with disproportionate anger. This is not the first time an incident like this has occurred where my children do not feel safe at this location. The adult took his friend, Josh's basketball worth over $100, forcefully kicked it into the ceiling, and deliberately popped it. He then verbally threatened the children and directed extremely offensive language at one of the smaller boys, saying, "What are you going to do about it, you little b***?"*While I want to be precise in my wording, the man did not strike the children. However, he invaded their personal space, pressed himself into a child's face, and used a physically intimidating posture that caused the children to fear for their safety. This conduct constitutes assault, as it placed minors in reasonable fear of imminent harm. Had physical contact occurred, it would have escalated to battery. The children were terrified. They did not know whether this adult was armed or capable of further violence. Even his own child appeared frightened. The boys appropriately reported the incident to the front desk staff. Unfortunately, the response was inadequate. The staff member appeared intimidated, spoke briefly with the adult, and then allowed him to leave without consequence, documentation, or visible follow-up. No staff member checked on the children afterward, and no reassurance or safety protocol was communicated. This is deeply concerning, particularly for a church-based facility where families expect a safe, values-driven environment and clear procedures to protect minors. We do not pay for our children to attend NZone so they can be threatened, have their property destroyed, and be left feeling unsafe while no meaningful action is taken.Until I receive reassurance that appropriate safeguards are in place, I am seriously reconsidering continued participation at NZone. This behavior was not only dangerous and inappropriate, but also profoundly unchristlike, contradicting the mission and values NZone represents.

She also liked the kiddie roller coaster and was able to figure out how to reset it and climb up to ride it herself!! Parking the first time was a bit confusing because Googlemaps takes you to the smaller lot which I believe is for the church but there is a bigger parking lot in the back of the building with the main entrance to the sports facilities. We're sad that the last Thursday family field time is coming up on the 22nd but we'll try to keep an eye on when they'll be happening again. Friendly staff and kid friendly facilities!
