I love exploring the store and fining random goodies. Be it a cute leotard or shoe accessory for teaching, we love supporting this store. I am really looking forward to this store being around as my nieces grow and fall in love with dance and this store.

Several years ago, I was highly irritated to race there after work to get new ballet flats for a Christmas performance only to arrive and see them closed during their posted buisness hours. Tonight I stopped by at 6:45 again to quickly grab something before class. And again, the lights were off and the doors were locked. I checked their hours on Google, I checked their page on Facebook. Nothing. Other dance stores in the area are open their posted hours. I'll be sticking to them going forward. Update: while I am sorry to hear the owner is struggling with her health, it is unrealistic to expect that all (and potential) customers will be on her mailing list or even that they will check social medial channels before heading to the shop. Additionally, as I stated, I did check the business's Facebook page from the parking lot; there was nothing posted.

They've recently been featured on WJZ, too! There is a huge selection of costumes for adults and kids in every genre and theme you can imagine, plus real dance outfits you can buy. We are a witch and a vampire this year and wanted to go all out for the Science Center Halloween party. I bought a long sparkly black dancer's dress that I already know I'll reuse for Ren Fest and future Halloween costumes. My fiancée got a very vampiric red cloak and vest combo, plus glue on fangs (not the plastic kind!) and a vampy medallion. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner came in and spent time with us to help put together a good outfit and chatted with us about her story. Such amazing service and a really nice personal touch. Whether you like supporting a local business, you hate Party City and Spirit Halloween's cheap offerings, or you want to purchase items you can use and reuse, this is the place to go!
