Several years ago, I was highly irritated to race there after work to get new ballet flats for a Christmas performance only to arrive and see them closed during their posted buisness hours. Tonight I stopped by at 6:45 again to quickly grab something before class. And again, the lights were off and the doors were locked. I checked their hours on Google, I checked their page on Facebook. Nothing. Other dance stores in the area are open their posted hours. I'll be sticking to them going forward. Update: while I am sorry to hear the owner is struggling with her health, it is unrealistic to expect that all (and potential) customers will be on her mailing list or even that they will check social medial channels before heading to the shop. Additionally, as I stated, I did check the business's Facebook page from the parking lot; there was nothing posted.

The employee was quickly able to figure out my daughter's size and made sure they fit. I thought prices were decent for a local shop; there was a rack of in season dance dresses for 40% off in a variety of sizes. This is our new spot for ballet shoes (and will always be paired with a visit to Moo Thru a few stores down for delicious ice cream)!

So one shoe was defefective. New Balance suggested that I contact the store first, so I did. I spoke to the store manager Ebony, who was super understanding and very kind.
