Recently, she moved her business to the Saturn Building in Fremont. Its a lot more accessible to get to, as oppose to her previous location in Frelard. Her new spot has a lot of natural lighting and it feels so relaxing! The most common service I come for is (of course) brow waxing. Tina always measures my brows before waxing, to ensure the perfect shape for my face. I have been experiencing some fallout the last year, which Tina noted to me. After not seeing any improvement on the sparse parts of my brows, I decided to try a product she highly recommended from Skincare Research Laboratories called neuBROW, a brow enhancing serum. Luckily she carried a set that also included neuLASH (lash serum) and a conditioning lash tint. I appreciate her recommendation because this was spot on: one month after applying the serums twice a day, I noticed new growth in the sparse areas of my brows. Even my lashes, which already were already long and lush, experience more growth too. In addition to her brow expertise, she is very knowledgeable with skin treatments. I typically add in a custom micro zone along with my brow appointments. There are a variety to choose from. I normally let Tina choose what would be best for my skin, but it seems like the ones I frequently get are the flash exfoliation and moisture treatments. When I first started seeing Tina, I booked a series of facial peel treatments, which was life changing! My acne scarred face cleared up and looks like as if I never had a bad breakout. Trust me, I have been to several dermatologists throughout my younger years and never achieve the results I got with Powerspa. Tina also takes the time to educate her clients on proper skin care, which is essential to maintaining healthy skin. She does carry the Dermalogica skin care line at her place and is generous with giving out samples to see what works with your skin. I tried this place out due to the positive reviews, so I think it's important to share my experience here. I ended up paying over $200, let the business know what happened to give them an opportunity to make it right, then did not get a response or an itemized receipt (as I requested)..... I came in Oct 7th and this was my first time getting an eyebrow lamination. I was a bit confused as to why it came out looking the way that it did (very thick and dark) but I figured maybe once the tint faded a bit it would look better. However, after I got multiple questions from people asking what was wrong with my brows, I knew it was too much and did not look right. I waited a few days to see if it would get better (moisturized, followed all care instructions from the stylist), but now the ends are quite frizzy, the brows are misshaped, and the tint is off. I contacted the business to let them know what happened, got an offer to come back in and have them fix it, but I was honestly so scarred I couldn't trust them to touch my brows again so I declined and asked for at least a partial refund (I paid ~$140 just for the service, ~$30 for a product I bought, as well as tipped the person who did it). No response on that, or a copy of my receipt like I asked. My brows are now worse than they were when I came in, did not get any sort of partial refund (even for the tip) and got ghosted by the company when I asked. Please be aware. read more

I have been seeing Tina for years and this is not to say that I have not seen a lot of other estheticians in my days. She owns my brows (and my upper lip for that matter). She's fantastic at making first timers feel comfortable (I've referred friends and family members). She's confident and educates. The Spa is not somewhere that you would find on your own, but once you're there, you can understand why she chose this location. The building has an indoor Japanese rock garden and the Spa itself is warm, cozy, and dripping with Tina's great taste. Tina is truly a brow artist, who combines pleasant conversation, as she masterfully sculpts and beautifies even the most ragged and out-of-shape brows (mine, pre-Tina!) Tina was thorough and quick and just chatty enough to distract me from something I am definitely not used to doing. I had never let anyone else touch my brows for all of my 46 years, but it was getting clear that I wasn't doing a very good job myself. All the positive reviews here made me feel good about trying this place out. It's a little hard to find - the sign outside says "Eden", so look for that. Tina listened to me, asked me questions, then found a template that was a perfect fit for what I described. My brows now look like a more feminine, polished version of how I'd been trying to shape them. The general look is the same, but they are very nicely cleaned up and trimmed. I went here yesterday for the first time after reading many great reviews about Tina's brow waxing abilities. I was not dissapointed in the least! She really took her time & talked to me about how I wanted my brows to look. After having them destroyed at so many other places, I was so pleased she actually let me see what she was planning on doing. We talked & she calmed my worries about having my brows thinned out. She also taught me a lot of things like how if you sleep on one side most of the time, that may be making my one eyebrow shorter as it's breaking the hair at the end. My entire life I have never liked my eyebrows. I've had then shaped dozens of times and still never liked them. For the first time ever I absolutely love my brows! She took quality time shaping and drew them out first to make sure it's what I wanted. She also took time to talk about my acne issues while she was working and even sent me home with numerous sample products to try! Went there today for my first eyebrow wax with Tina. She was so fantastic! She took the time to give me a consultation and make sure that my brows were going to look great for my face shape, etc. My brows were measured and she even gave me helpful tips for maintenance and styling. She is super sweet and it's really worth the 25 dollars because she is very personable. I would definitely like to go back for a facial or other treatments.
