When Power Pro did my first two jobs, everything was great. Great technicians and great service. The third time I hired Power Pro, I had an initial visit, but the technician said it was too late to start the job, so we rescheduled for the next day. Then I received a call that the technician was stuck at another job and wouldn't be able to make it, so we rescheduled again. On the third scheduled date, I received a call and was told that the technician was badly sunburned and couldn't make it, so we rescheduled a fourth visit for one week later, which required me to postpone my vacation to accommodate the change. To my utter disappointment, on the fourth scheduled appointment date, I received a call an hour after the technician was supposed to arrive and was told that the technician had an earache and they would have to reschedule again. I have not doubt that the technician was ill, but being that it was a fourth re-scheduled visit, Power Pro should have offered to send another technician out in good faith. I suggest that they hire more technicians! I am forced to hire a more reliable company. Sorry Power Pro Plumbing I feel that I gave you a lot of chances and was patient and kind about it. read more

I needed to have some drains snaked and a faucet replaced in my bathroom. Erik was nice and professional and answered all of the questions that I had. He even explained what type of faucet I should look for when I went to the store to make sure it would fit my sink. I appreciated all of his help and his efficiency. I would definitely recommend him. read more

Called in the morning and they were able to come out the same day to fix a back up in the main line which required cutting into the concrete to clear roots growing through the pipe and they replaced that part of the piping. Another company quoted a two to three day job but Frederico and his crew were able to complete the job by the end of the day. Pricing was reasonable as they matched another quote I had but they did a great job without making a mess and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Frederico and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you Power Pro! read more

I want to thank Eddie A. for a job well done. I had a water heater I had purchased at Home Depot and Eddie gave me a fair estimate(cheaper than other estimates) and knew what he was doing. I would definitely call again if I need plumbing work. read more

I work for a property management company in Long Beach and for the last 9 years I was a loyal customer to a specific hydro jetting company-that I recently had to part ways for a multitude of reasons. I met Power Pro at a local apartment association get to gether a while back and have used them since at all my properties for drain stoppages. They are fast, efficient, they communicate well with my tenants in making appointments and following up (which is a huge headache for me to monitor-usually-but not with them). They've seriously raised the bar, used them last night in fact at a property I also live at...they were there well into the evening dealing with quite an emergency, and Scott was great-he communicated well with me and my tenants. My tenants are also thrilled I have switched companies, lol. Its a switch that was needed a long time ago. I have not had a chance to use their other services, but I can tell you that their drain clearing, scoping and hydro jetting services are great, and have made my job a whole lot easier. read more

Our kitchen sinks and toilet were backed up. Power Pro Plumbing came out and charged us $194 to snake the pipes. Everything was fine for four days. Then the kitchen sinks backed up again. Power Pro Plumbing came out again. They said they snaked again but that the pipes were too far gone and needed to be replaced. The guy quoted a price of $1800 to replace one section of pipe or $3600 to replace all of it. I called the property manager the following day to report what I had been told. They sent out their guy who poured drain cleaner into both sinks and snaked them the following day. They have been fine since then. That's all they needed. I don't believe the guys from Power Pro Plumbing didn't know that. I think they tried to rip us off. I have called them twice to give them the opportunity to refund part of the money they charged us and they have ignored me. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring them not to do so. UPDATE : I just spoke with a representative from PPP. They have agreed to a partial refund. All it took was a bad review. :-) I still don't recommend them. read more

Service was great. Arrived within 4 hours of calling for a clogged kitchen sink. Delivered as promised for the price quoted. Cleaned out both kitchen drain and main drain. The technician, Frederico Valtierra, was very professional, took the time to explain what he was doing, and made several recommendations regarding how to avoid future problems without trying to exert high-pressure up-sell tactics. A pleasure to work with and I will definitely call again (and will definitely request Frederico!). read more

I always call power pro Plumbing every visit I received better and better service but yesterday I met Bobby he's so professional, hardworking, and very honest with his job. He recommended that I should get hydro jetter this is not the first time they recommend this to me but the way Bobby explained it to me, I was convinced I ask him to come back. They called me two three times to confirm the appointment, they even offered to come early. Then Bobby came he started his job and they mentioned to me over the phone that it's about 1 hour Job but Bobby almost spent 2 hours after he finished his job. He cleaned all his mess, he made it as clean it can be. I was really impressed from him the way he finished his job. I highly recommend Power Pro Plumbing. Make sure to ask them for Bobby from Gardena for your next plumbing service! read more

Had a problem with my drain I called power pro they sent out Albert. He's extremely professional didn't pressure me like the last company I had out. He's very honest and knowledgeable. He was also very respectful to my home.Took care of my issue thoroughly and I was taken back so much I had to write a review about my experience. Thanks Albert and Power Pro! read more

Had an issue at work called power pro and they sent over Carlos. Once Carlos arrived he was met by our maintenance guy and was showed where the leak was located. Carlos did not turn off water properly which caused a massive water fall from the ceiling. He was in no rush to help rectify the situation, my coworkers and I scrambled to get trash cans and anything else to hold the water. He did accept responsibility for his action he wanted to blame our maintenance guy (which was so untrue). Carlos then had the nerve to ask for payment ($600) for work that he did not complete. Oh, did I mention that he was asked to unclog the sink in the break room which is now completely clogged up. We will NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN read more

I dropped my earring down the sink and had to call Power Pro Plumbing to help me retrieve it. Jesus and Bobby arrived on time for the scheduled appointment, were extremely professional, wore booties over their work boots to not treck in dirt from outside!! Amazing! They retrieved my earring and replaced the fill valve for my noisy toilet in less than 40 mins. Highly recommend Power Pro Plumbing for their professionalism, speedy work and cleanliness! read more

We have used Power Pro Plumbing before when they removed a water heater, which as it turned out, had nothing wrong with it, and installed a new one. We had thought a leak under the house was caused by the water heater leaking - it turned out it was our irrigation system. Looking back, I think a reputable plumber would have immediately known the heater was not the culprit, as there was no evidence of water underneath it, or of corrosion to the heater. We ended up $1,850 poorer and still had not solved the problem. We were stupid enough to call them again when a new shower head needed to be installed. The old one had snapped off at the wall and it needed a special tool to remove the old piece of pipe so that the new head could be installed - a two-minute job. The appointment was scheduled between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon. The service guy turned up at 2.05 pm. When he saw what was required he said he'd have to call his supervisor and came back with a quote for $550!!! I said that was ridiculous, sent him away and told him I would never call them again. My husband bought the necessary tool for removing the broken piece of piping at Home Depot for $10 and fitted the shower head himself in 5 minutes. Be warned! read more

On Saturday I had a backed up tub that when I flushed my toilet, sewage would come up in my tub. I called around and used Yelp to get quotes for the service. All of the places I called or asked for a quote said that they could not come out until Monday. I called Power Pro and they said they would send someone out on SATURDAY. I said "PLEASE come over" under an hour Paul came to our house. He was having a problem finding a parking place for his truck so I opened my gate to let him park in my driveway. He was very happy to park there and courteous when he got out. He looked at my tub and went out to look at my clear out. He gave me my estimate which was stated in the yellow pages ad. He said that it was a "one way" and he would try his best to see what he could do to fix it but to not get my hopes up. He brought out his plumbers snake and went to work. Within 10 minutes he has it cleared. He was checking out my toilet and he saw that I had calcium build up and cleared it out for me. He also told me about issues on my tub as well as my bathroom sink. He was very straight forward and told me what I needed to hear as well as pricing that was very reasonable for the other items that I would need done later. I told him that I need to send my wife to the ATM to get another 20 out so I can give him the price he gave me. He said, is that all you are short and I said yes. He told me to give me what I had and we would be good. I told him that he made my day. Two businesses stepped up on the weekend to help me out to work with me and Power Pro as well as the other business can now rely that they do have an ongoing customer as long as I am living in Southern California. Thanks again Paul for being a cool plumber and helping me out when I needed it!!! read more

I just had my entire main sewer line and all out-flowing pipes replaced. It was a long overdue project that kept getting put off until things started to back up which by then could not be put off any longer. Power Pro was able to come out right away, and my technician, Jorge, was amazing. He was courteous and professional, and thoroughly checked all the plumbing. I had another company come out in December, and their technician didn't even bother to go under the house and check the situation out. They said there was nothing wrong. Jorge crawled under the house and inspected everything up close! He explained everything that needed to be replaced/repaired, and kept me posted on the progress as the work was done. He arrived when he said he would, and the main office even gave me courtesy calls to let me know he was on his way. The work done was excellent, and they left my home exactly the way they found it, but with better plumbing! Everything was cleaned up beautifully. It was an expensive repair, but you get what you pay for! I will definitely call them for future repairs, and for my heating and AC servicing. The highest compliment I can give them is that they earned my trust. read more

Help!! Beware!! Called on an emergency to have a new hot water heater installed for a senior citizen. Without even looking at the unit, the representative said it would be $2,500.00. I asked don't you need to inspect it first?! When told that we would find someone else, He said he could take off $500.00. Unbelievable!! I would not recommend this company location to anyone. So much for the yellow pages. read more

I want to start off by saying the repair was done very well. The "Salesman" I mean "Plumber" assessed the issue and started with his sales tactics. He said he doesn't normally repair slab leaks locally because they don't hold up and tried to sell me on a re-route of piping which would cost a lot more and was unnecessary. The leak was not even in the slab but a bent pipe coming out of the wall going into the slab. I told him I was not going to pay for a re-route and he then said the local repair would be no problem. I felt like right then he was trying to upsell me. He had to drain my water heater and remove it to get to the slab. He also needed to tear out my existing wood water heater stand then replace it with a metal one. He provided a price that included everything then I asked how much for the stand. I was told $320 and showed me a picture. I bought a better stand at Lowe's for $60 and told him, when he returned, to do the repair, use my stand and deduct the $320 for his stand which was cheaper material anyways. He then said ok but would have to charge me $189 for draining the water heater. I figured the total cost would already include draining the water heater since it had to be done anyways. He pointed out that he would also replace my gas and water valve for free which didn't need to be replaced. I went with my stand and it still saved me some money but was a negotiating battle. He really wanted me to buy his stand for $320. I felt that he was trying to upsell me and not be honest. All I want is an honest quote for what I need. I feel if I didn't have some plumbing experience then I would have paid a lot more. read more

My review is about pricing , how things change as soon as a little work envolving replacing leaking pipes. I could had put sealent or pack tape and be done, having work done in the past by P P and felt good about there service I weaken and paid $1125.00 for something that should at most cost around $500.00. This has been a bitter pill to swollow and it still stuck in my throat. I hope this may help you check prices before proceeding. There work is OK but their prices SUCK! read more

This is a fantastic company. I called them with my plumbing problem and they were quick to respond. A few years back they answer my call for a plugged drain which they cleared immediately. This time it was very serious. The complete sewer system was leaking! Using a camera and other tools of the trade and under the guidance of Telly they repaired the main line drain and replace the other two drains. What a fantastic job they did ... you couldn't even tell they we're here! The team leader, Telly, directed the operation and his 28 years in the profession really showed. I would recommend Power Pro for all plumbing problems. Just call for Telly. read more

Plumbing problems are the worst. We've had more than our fair share and have used a few different companies that weren't very good. Thankfully, we found Power Pro Plumbing! Telly has fixed several of our problems and we were very pleased with the work done. He was professional, thorough, friendly, and fair with the pricing. I was especially impressed that he covered his shoes when entering our home and made sure that everything was spotless before he left. Called them up to unclog a bathroom sink and was told a plumber would be there in 60 to 90 minutes. 90 minutes later was called saying he was running late. An hour later he showed up and said it would cost $125.00 to unclog. I said that it was kind of a high price compared to other plumbers. He called in and they said he could charge me $99.00. I had a coupon for $35.00 off but was told that it was for plumbing services and this isn't a plumping service. I told him go ahead because they had already taken up so much time. His name was Frank and he was fine it took him maybe 10 minutes to clear it. As far as the company goes I would never call them again. read more

Power Pro Plumbing helped us out with a difficult situation and fixed a large problem without digging up our whole house. Sean, in particular, was top notch. He gave us an honest assessment of the situation, without BSing us. If he didn't know an answer, he came right out and said so. Power Pro Plumbing may not be the absolute cheapest, but I think their prices are reasonable and they never tried to lure us in with a lowball estimate that would never be met. Throughout the project, Sean kept us informed about what was going on. In addition to his explanations, he also shared a bunch of pictures and videos of the process so that we'd understand what was happening. Throughout the project he let us know our options and laid out the costs. Our project ended up being more extensive and we ended up needing pipe bursting, iron pipe descaling, and trenchless sewer replacement in addition to some excavation and multiple video inspections. These guys had all the equipment to get the job done quickly. Sean was able to coordinate all this and get us back up and running. With these guys I have confidence that the job is done right. read more

power pro came out and fixed my gas leaks right away ...erik was very fast and great service ...my house was located in the long beach area

Worst service ever! Called for mainline clean out & then called back to let them know it may possibly be in the line between washer and bath tub. Called them because their ad states most calls are within 45 mins. Was quoted 45 mins to 1 hour. Ok...they called back 1 hour later said it would be a few minutes (when asked their few minutes was 60-90 minutes more). Explained my frustration, was told lateness was due to a monthly meeting where they discuss proper protocol like wearing booties...OK.. this was obviously a known thing when I was quoted 1 hour... They were sorry...(not near as sorry as I turned out to be). Albert the plumber arrives 2 hours or more after original call, not wearing said booties. I show him cleanout drains.. he needs to see layout of house..OK??...Keeps asking about when various plumbing was done, condescending "Maybe your husband would know" ..argues with me about what kind of tree roots are in my line before he ever attempts to clear line. Even though I show him the cleanout outside of the bathroom he insists the only way "ONLY WAY" to clear the line is for me to remove the epoxied to the tub cover over the overflow bath drain. As soon as I do that without ever trying to snake it he decides the "ONLY WAY" now is to take apart my kitchen drain pipes and go in through there. We then get in a shouting match in my kitchen (truth) where he tells me I'm being negative... well yeah dude at this point you have argued with me (all of the time with gum hanging out of your mouth like a tongue), keep saying things like my cleanout drain outside my bathroom is not connected to my bathroom but only to the outside drain...The "ONLY WAY" to fix it keeps changing, acting like you can't clear the clogged line without knowing what date it was last replaced...yeah I'm feeling like you are incompetent, rude, condescending to women & acting like you are doing me a favor by being here at all. I have lost all confidence in you. He did fix it (for now...he says it will clog again soon) He quoted me $149 to go in thru the kitchen drain because he refused to try the cleanout outside the bath... He knew I was going to ask for my advertised 10% sr discount...so wrote it up for $189 and then crossed it out and wrote $149 and told me that was my discount....Really 10% of 189 is 40 ??? I wonder if he would have gone in the cleanout outside of the bathroom if it would have been the $89 quoted? Never again! I have never had an interaction with any service provider in my home like this...Rude, incompetent, unprofessional, misogynist. read more

I was very impressed with the personal service that William Sinclair (Supervisor) for Power Pro Plumbing gave me. His expertise in leak detection and straight forward talk on how to fix the issue was most appreciate. Power Pro Plumbing replaced old plumbing fixtures and recommended helpful maintenance work which we will do soon.

This review is long over due. Our toilet backed up and we called PPP in Torrance. Efrain came out and snaked the line. I watched over him and when the snake went further down the line I could hear it struggling. He told me he couldn't send it down any faster for fear of chipping the clay pipes. He said the tree roots are very bad. I figured here comes the hard sell. The next day, Efrain & Feliciano came back and videoed the drain. He was right, there were roots everywhere and some chipping from the snake. Thanks for pulling in the reins on that one Efrain! We also discovered the lateral line had moved. When we bought the house, the line was inspected and that plumber said there was something weird there, but shined the problem on. We agreed for PPP to re-line the pipes or 'trenchless' piping. It was pricey, but I worked with Feliciano to also fix the plumbing piping mess under the house and throw in a new toilet. My husband was fascinated by the precision and the honesty of all those involved. Efrain worked the hardest, digging 7 feet down, ripping out the clay pipe and replacing it with plastic. He also had to cut away a tree root the size fo an adult's leg. This was all done in a day, three days later a second team came and if it wasn't for my noisy husband we never would've known they came to seal the liner from the sewer main running down the middle of the street using a small tethered robot. It was explained to us by Feliciano but my husband had his doubts. Of course the price always hurts but it has 50 year guarantee! read more
