This was the worst experience. Do not use this company!! Highway Robbery. We had a leak at the base of our kitchen faucet. They said you need new faucet. ? Okay. The man went to Home Depot and picked out one and installed. Probably should have had us get one and then install the next day or that afternoon. I don't know. I just know my kitchen is ALL brushed silver or chrome ? - refrigerator, micro, oven, double sink, stove and the faucet we had. For some reason when I came home there is this bright shinny, cheap looking faucet that doesn't match anything and then my husband said they charged $950.00. We called and asked if they would replace the faucet with one similar to the one we had and that matched our kitchen. They said it would be an additional $275.00 to replace!!!! This is not about the service - this is ABOUT THE COMPANY - policies , customer service, competitive pricing, ethics, fairness. I will do everything I can to inform potential customers to never call upon this company. It is a shame such underhanded businesses can be in business. read more

Satisfied customer, Luis Aguilar, ac technician did a great job, very professional and considerate to the clients need. Highly recommend!

Watch out for these guys they will rip you off. They love to say we need to jack hammer through this concrete to get to this pipe. $$$$ I wasted my money on these guys, boy did I learn my lesson. read more

Highly recommend Power Pros! We have worked with Power Pros for years and we have always been very happy with the service we receive. Their customer service commitment is truly superior. We recently had a plumbing issue requiring extensive work and despite the rain and difficult work conditions we could not have been happier with the results! In particular, Edgar Hernandez and Samuel Murino worked tirelessly to ensure patio pavers were replaced to perfection! Always polite and respectful. Will always recommend them! read more

On 3/11, we came home to find our water heater had stopped working. In a panic, I called Power Pro, and they could not have been more helpful. Their technician, Jason, was here within an hour of my call. He was friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST. He had the water heater repaired as quickly as possible, and provided OUTSTANDING service. I will make this company my permanent "go to" call whenever I have any issues with plumbing at our home. I could not be happier with the service I received. They offer free estimates, which is difficult to find anywhere. The most important thing I found was their HONESTY. I had called another company first (randomly) and was quoted a price to fix the water heater, before anyone had even come out to look at it. Their price was 3x higher than what it actually cost, and they were "not available" until the following day. I HIGHLY recommend this company !! read more

Mike Mata was extremely professional, courteous, and explained everything that needed to be done, in a way where I wasn't confused. He got the job done. Thank you, Power Pro. This was the second time I've used your company. It won't be the last! read more

Our washer bib was broken when the previous owner moved out and we called Power Pro Plumbing to come fix it. It turned out to be a bigger job since our condo had no local shut-off and thus the heat pump and water for the entire complex had to be drained and shut off for the job. Sal was very professional and had a great attitude. He got it fixed in very short order and was very thorough in making sure the complex was up and running before he left. We will definitely call again! read more

We have used Power Pro Plumbing several times. They are always quick, responsive and fair. The most recent call was for a leaking toilet and Isaiah was great and went above and beyond. Definitely will be a long term customer. read more

LEAK DETECTION & REPAIR: I called this company to have a leak detected in my sprinkler system. Keith came out and found it and repaired it. He used a listening device to find the pipe leaking underneath concrete. I am very happy with his job well done. It was very expensive though, at $650. read more

This is my 5th time enlisting the services of PowerPro and once again, the customer service that I received was outstanding. Albert Gomez, my technician, was very knowledgeable and took the extra time to give me a tutorial on my furnace. PowerPro never disappoints! read more

I used them for the first time. Service tech was very nice and fixed problem within 10 min. Showed me the faulty part and said it would cost 300+ dollars to fix. I gave them a three because after i found out what the problem was i found i could buy that part online for on approximately 20 dollars so basically paid 250 dollars for labor which i probably could have done on my own. But problem is fixed and my heating his working now. read more

If I can give less than one star I will! 1st off the technician was very rude he did not want to shake my hand and came into my home with that attitude. Next when I showed Him the problems he immediately suggested the most expensive method. When I express I cannot pay that expensive method he said there was no other way. He did not suggest any Methods that could hold me over he was totally unhelpful and I will never use power pro plumbing or suggest them to anyone I know!!! read more

Our technician was Edwin he was very knowledgeable about our heating concerns he explained the issue we were having and that he was able to solve the issue also gave me a complete recommendation on the newest heating system available he showed me the breakdown on his tablet the cost of installing new unit and it would save me in the long run I will recommend Edwin and Power Pro for the plumbing and heating issues in the future and great customer service it only allowed me to give 5 stars but I'd give 10 and a half stars read more

I used this company in March and was satisfied with fair pricing and service. Today I attempted to use them again and was thoroughly disappointed. I felt as though tech was attempting to overcharge me as much as possible as he did not seem to care about repeat business. He quoted me a price that was higher than the price I got for MORE service in March and then began negotiating. He even said he could not be responsible for leaks after he put pipes back together. He had not taken a close look at the simple snake job, just took a picture and looked at everything from doorway. I told him this was unacceptable and I would get someone else. I was not desperate and going to ripped-off!!! BEWARE!!!! read more

They came out for hot water heater, gave us an est of 1800.- we ended up with a company that charged 1200.- Air conditioner broke during extreme heat spell, scheduled power pro to come out on a sat, changed my schedule and waited for them, only went with them because they were coming out quickly and we needed the service, definitely not because of our last experience. I called and confirmed it with Aimee. Less then 2 hours before they were supposed to be here a frances called and said she was cancelling our appt, they couldn't make it. We said we put our day around this. Well Frances obviously doesn't have any customer service exp, she was so rude. Her attitude was terrible, she just wanted to get off the phone. This company will schedule you quickly, but don't expect that means anything, they think nothing of cancelling. Ad says 24/7 (that's not true) probably it was for the better based on how much they were going to charge for the water heater. Very unprofessional. read more

2018-04-04 to 2018-04-05 We had what appeared to be a slow leak in our sprinkler system. After digging the area where water was seeping up found that a PVC connector was spewing water. I needed help right away as there wasn't a shut off that I could find other than the street meter main shut off. Did a search on plumbers in the area and ended up calling Power Pro Plumbing because they picked up the phone (I called two other plumbers and no answer). Of course I did my Yelp review look up and they seemed to have positive responses. Brandon D. came out and immediately assessed the problem. At first he tried replacing the PVC joint, but it immediately blew out. He tried several times to repair the problem. Nothing held. He said the pressure from the main was just too great. A more detailed investigation found that a prior owner had tapped into the main going to the house before the house shut off and used PVC to connect the galvanized street main to the copper house plumbing. The PVC was now failing because of the water pressure. Called in someone to give an estimate because this had now become a very serious issue. Evidently you are not allowed to connect copper to galvanize and PVC was not an option as it was failing. Ended up we had to replace the entire main from the meter to the house. This job was going to be very expensive. Worked with Michael and he gave me the best price he could. Very expensive but no real other alternative. Brandon stayed with us the entire time to do the majority of the work. A couple of specialists came in to do the drilling under the driveway to the meter. But other than that, Brandon did all the work. Digging, connecting the new main to the house and re-connecting the sprinkler system back correctly. He was always very pleasant and had a very positive attitude. I have never had a plumber as friendly and who really enjoyed his job. He took time to answer all our questions and worked late into the night to complete the job. Our constant questions no doubt slowed him down, but he would always stop what he was doing and politely addressed every concern we had. A very pleasant person to have doing the work. A gentle giant of a man that never complained about anything and had a smile at all times. After he completed the job, Brandon made sure everything was working inside and outside the house. We had a minor issue with one of our faucets and he quickly checked it and told us how to correct it. He was genuinely concerned that we were okay with all that happened and that it was done to our satisfaction. When he came inside the house he actually changed to clean clothes and wore soft booties so he would be clean and not mark our hardwood floors. That was greatly appreciated. I don't know if all the Power Pro technicians are as friendly and open as Brandon, but he is definitely a true asset to them and a fine representative. The cost of the project was very very painful, but Brandon made it a bit easier to bear. Very pleased with his work and Power Pro. Follow up 2018-04-06: A pressure valve was put on during the installation of the new main to protect our household pipes. Overnight, the pressure seemed very low when we took a shower. When the technician, Brandon D. finished that night, the pressure seemed acceptable, but it definitely declined later that night. Next day I put a pressure meter on and it was showing about 20 psi at the outside faucets. Called Power Pro to have them check it out. They said they would send Brandon back to check it out before 2 PM as he was on another job (called around 10 AM). Brandon showed up before noon. He checked the pressure and it was low. He made an adjustment to the pressure valve and the pressure started to increase. It was finally set to just under 80 psi. Brandon was very apologetic about the inconvenience it had caused. He explained that air inside the lines probably gave the false pressure levels we had gotten earlier. It was definitely still sputtering a bit in the kitchen and bathrooms. After the adjustment the pressure is now fine and appears to be the same as before the water main replacement. Again Brandon was very positive and friendly. He answered my concerns and apologized repeatedly for the need for the follow up visit. I really didn't think that much about it as it was working, just not at the pressure we were used to. We are very pleased with Power Pro Plumbing and Brandon. He never made excuses or blamed anyone else and accepted all responsibility for the follow up visit. Power Pro responded quickly and followed up later to ensure we were happy with the additional work done. I again can highly recommend them and Brandon D. read more

We were in a bind. Saturday night, holiday weekend. Called Power Pro. Showed up in two hours - amazing. This is after the smell good guys said they couldn't be here for two days. This is also after another Brea plumber had flaked after giving us a time frame. Joe showed up at the promised time. He was friendly and efficient. After about 15 minutes he was done. No mess. Easy. And he said we could get camera scan for free. Oh yeah - they were half what others quoted. These guys get my business from now on. Joe deserves a raise. read more

Our water heater stopped heating Saturday. After attempting to relight it ourselves and trouble shoot a bit we finally decided on Sunday to give someone a call. I was shocked we were serviced about 2 hours from the time of the call. We had David work on our water heater. He made quick work of it. We were terrified we would have to replace the water heater but he was able to get it fired up! He had a polite and positive attitude as well, which is hit and miss in service industries, especially on a hot Sunday afternoon! Would definitely call David out again if we had an issue. read more

My dad used Power Pro Plumbing for a small job before and it was done satisfactorily. Then Nate the salesman came out the other day convinced my dad that is a senior citizen. That with our very old house that we needed to have our pipes scoped and then to have the house hydro jet. My dad had this done, at a cost that we now know was higher than a lot of other plumbers, and then they did some pipe replacement under the house that the salesman convinced my elderly father that it needed to be done. When the work was finished my dad was stuck with a astronomical bill. This company preys on senior citizens my dad was charged for a job that was not finished. When I crawled under the house, it became apparent to me that we were over-charged in both the length and the diameter of the pipe. They did not replace all of the cast iron only up to a certain point then stopped. I know how much time the technician spent on replacing this (not many hours). We confronted the manager about this, and told him that this was very bad business. They reduced our bill by half. But had I not crawled in the dirt in the space below my dads house, I would not have known this. I will never do business again with a company that over-charges a senior customer and bills for work not finished. Highly recommend that you use another company read more

Could not complete the work, caped the gas supply line and refunded my money thank you

This was a lucky find for us, as we were really I need for reliable function from our relatively new Rheem hot water heater. We called for service and promptly received a response. We were offered an appointment to which we agreed. Prior to our appointment, we received several confirmation texts. On the day of the visit, we were sent an image of the technician, and given an update regarding his arrival time. As texted, our technician, SANTIAGO LLAMAS, texted from our driveway, letting us know that he was outside. We opened the garage to allow access to the heater. Santiago, with a friendly approach, and broad smile, went right to work, using experience and reason to approach the issue. He explained his thinking and offered a solution. We would solve it in the most cost-effective way. Santiago was honest and made it clear that we would solve it at no extraordinary expense. If installation was necessary, he would be the one, if we wanted, to complete it. In short, Santiago was pleasant, courteous, kind and efficient. Above and beyond professional. We will seek his services again, without hesitation. read more

Called and talked to Sylvia, who was professional and very helpful. She said a technician would be here within an hour and she would call back to let me know when he would get here. Someone called back to tell me the technician would be there within half-an-hour and told me the technician would be Francisco. Francisco showed up almost exactly half-an-hour later. He found address easily and got right to work. He gave an estimate and asked if we wanted the work done. We agreed and he worked cleanly, professionally, and was very friendly and helpful in advising us about further options, if we were interested. He also answered other questions we had. I would call them again in a heartbeat if I needed more help with plumbing. read more

I wrote a positive review of these folks when I had my sewer line replaced. My second experience was today and it was awful. My tankless water heater was not working. When the plumber arrived I told him I believed that the problem was that the earthquake valve needed to be reset. He ignored me and even though I could show him that my stove was getting no gas either and he proceeded to take apart my water heater. AFTER he did that, he checked the earthquake valve and restored the gas. Then he proceeded to tell me that he was charging me $150 for the call. The hole thing could have been over in 5 minutes, He made it last 30 minutes. I had to speak to his supervisor to get the charge down to $80, which was reasonable for what really needed to be done. Be careful with these folks. Depending on who you get, you may experience a wolf in sheep's clothing. read more

The technician M. Manikas was OUTSTANDING !!!!! He explained everything he was doing . Very professional courteous and efficient. I needed a CD copy of my sewer inspection and I expected it in the mail in a couple of days. The office people tried blaming it on the technician as to why I had not received it. I asked them to check the file as they told me "it's more than likely been sent out". They kept insisting to email it to me. When they finally checked the file it had not even been put on CD let alone mailed. The technician had turned it in to the office the same day he did the service. Now more than a week later I'm still waiting. Shame on the office staff to try and pass the buck. I have now missed my deadline to submit the sewer inspection to the city because of the holidays... they offered a coupon for future services but...not sure that's gonna happen ! read more

I called Power Pro for help with a Rheem water heater which would not light, and the pilot would not stay lit. The service engineer, Eddie, came quite quickly and immediately told me that he did not have the necessary part. He proceeded to try to sell me first on a new tankless system, then on a replacement water heater for $1,395 installed. He gave me a quote of $350 to install the replacement part, which I would request from Rheem under its 6-year parts warranty. I subsequently was able to find another vendor which had the part in its vans and which quickly and efficiently provided the necessary repair for $98. Buyer beware. read more

I first used Power Pro Plumbing in 2013 when my water line from my home to the street was obstructed by tree roots. I gulped twice when I reviewed their estimate. I learned the hard way the cost of being a homeowner. Power Pro did a professional fantastic job repairing my plumbing needs and worth every penny I had to spend. In 2013 Power Pro informed me that the pipes under my house needed to be replaced. Financially I just could not make those repairs at the same time my main line was being repaired. Four years later the pipes under my house burst. In May 2017 I called Power Pro to repair all the plumbing pipes under my house. They also found a gas leak in the gas lines under my house. It was costly but it had to be done. In 2013 Power Pro gave me a 75 year warranty on the main line from the house to the street. Good! That means by the time the main line needs repair I will be dead so it won't be coming out of my pocket. In May 2017 Power Pro gave me a 10 year warranty on the pipes repaired under the house including the gas line. I don't think I'll be dead by then but I am satisfied with the warranty. I want to give a special shout out to Power Pro's professionals, Jorge, Ramon and Martin. These guys know what they are doing. Jorge is a professional that you want in your corner. He is a decent honest man which is very hard to find these days. If you have a plumbing issue it will serve you well to call Power Pro. read more

First I went to the home center. Long story short, all we got was an attempted up sell. I sent them packing. Then I went to Home Advisor. They connected me up with Power Pro Plumbing. The initial contact after 5PM with PPP said that Jason would be at my home in 90 minutes for a FREE estimate. They were wrong and Jason was her in 75 minutes. Jason spent about 30 minutes trying to get the old water heater working but failed. There was water in the existing drip pan so I decided to go ahead and have the water heater replaced. (This was my foregone conclusion that a replacement was necessary.) I told Jason that there was no reason to do the work that evening and we scheduled the work for the next morning, late. Jason arrived the next morning at the scheduled time with all the necessary parts. Contrary to what other Jewelry named plumbers would have you believe Jason doesn't smell at all. :) Just watching Jason work it is obvious that he is competent and very skilled. When Jason was finished the house was CLEAN. Nothing left behind and the old water heater left with him. We've been in this house about 40 years. We've had a few 'plumbers' doing work on various things. PPP is the only one I would recommend to others. What else can I say? Great office staff, great customer service, great trades people. Oh, the price. Oh my goodness, the price! The PPP price was all of sixty cents higher than the home center. read more
