I have been using Fasttrax Marine for 5 years now. I use them to pick up my pontoon at my home in…read morethe spring, take it to the Gull River boat landing; launch boat and then I drive it back home after dock has been installed. In the Fall I meet them at a specific location where they put the boat on their trailer, take me home and they go back to their shop where they change the oil, winterize and then bring it back to my home. This is usually completed by mid Oct and they come back in spring to start the process going. They have come back a few times where the boat won't start, and they will come and get it going by David Traxler (son). Two times has been no charge. That is why I say they do great customer service. Another great customer service incident that happened this winter. After David Traxler (son) delivered to my home in the fall and we put it on blocks, I was trying to move my ATV to park in front of this Pontoon. I hit something that caused my ATV to slam back, and the boat came off the front block and knocked the boat back about 5 feet. Had to get it off the floor and back up on the blocks. David Traxler (Owner) came out and tried to get under the boat so it could be lifted up. It would not work because it was too tight to fit under boat. David had to come back out with a different trailer that that would go under the boat and lift it up. He went all the way in so he could move it forward about 5 feet. The motor had to be checked. I asked him how much it would be and David said just send him a check that I felt was an honest price for his work and trips in below zero temps. I can't say enough about what it means to have service provider that believes in what he does.

This place is an ABSOLUTE JOKE and I wish I would've listened to the previous reviews. I was asked…read moreto arrive prior to my 12:00 rental in order to fill out paperwork so I was there at 11:45. CJ did not arrive until 12:15, I was stuck waiting for him. I had a half day rental so when 4 pm came around, we were waiting at the dock. At 4:21 I received a text saying they were running 10-15 minutes late. Then another text at 4:28 from CJ to let me know if Fred was not there within 15 minutes to let him know. Then was charged for the boat rental from 12:00-4:20...so I spent an hour total waiting on them before and after. Also was told the propeller was damaged and I was charged an additional $75. $443.36 total for four hours of boat, one hour of waiting for them to get their shit together. This place is an absolute joke. I was told to I use the depth finder which absolutely didn't work.

We were staying at a local resort for a few days and wanted to rent a pontoon for a day. The resort…read morerecommended Dockside as they had pontoons with larger motors good for pulling tubes. From their website, Dockside has 2 pontoons to choose from, a 115HP and a 150HP. Their site quoted $395/day for the 115 and $430/day for the 150, both being good for pulling a tube. When I called, Fred (who I assume to be the owner) told me that only the 150 was available for the day we wanted. We agreed to reserve the 150 HP and set up the reservation for 10am the next day. I was told they would call when they were to leave to deliver the pontoon to our resort and that it would be about a 20 min trip to our resort. We were at the marina promptly at 10am. 10 am came and went, no call. I finally called them about 10:15 and was told they were just loading the the pontoon and would be about it 30 min. Just before 11 a guy finally arrived with the pontoon. It was the 115HP, not the 150 that we were told we were reserving. Being that both could tow a tube, I didn't really mind and decided I would call Fred about adjusting the pricing when we were done. Fred was the one to pick up the pontoon when we finished (note that even though they were an hour late to deliver, we didn't get an extra hour added on to our rental). I told him that we got the smaller engine pontoon and expected to only be charged the $395 rate that was listed on their website. He told me that their prices had recently changed and both pontoons were $430 but that he just "didn't have time to update the website". I told him that i was fine paying the higher price for the larger motor if that's what I got but that because I got the smaller one, he should honor the price listed on the website for the 115. He basically told me off and said that he would not honor the price on the website. Dont get me wrong, I am happy to support small businesses and with the economy these days, I understand having to adjust prices. But I also believe that you should honor the prices that you have stated. It is not my fault that you haven't had time to maintain your website. The fact that they arrived late and shorted me an hour of my all day rental, brought the wrong boat and refused to honor the correct pricing on their website is reason enough for me to NOT support this small business. We are hoping to visit this area again in the future and I will NOT be giving them my business again. All for $35. Wow, nice Fred...
