They obviously didn't check to make sure that things were working on the camper because every single thing on it was not built right and not working correctly. Then if they say they can only fix it at Camping world you have to bring it to them, or in my case, pay someone to haul it there. And if you want to sell it on consignment it is the Biggest Rip off ever. Apparently my camper lost a value of $25,000 after only having it one year and having everything fixed on it. On 8/2/2024 I hired the owner of this business, Ken Strantz, to 1) replace my RV awning fabric and…read more2) replace the slideout seals on the 2 slideouts in my camper. I asked if he needed a downpayment and he said "No".Before leaving the campground he said he needed $300 to buy the fabric. I wrote him a check. On 8/13/2024 he returned to do the work. When he was done, I asked for an invoice, he did not have one. He told me I owed him $1,000. I issued a second check. Later that day I received his invoice: 2hours for awning labor $300; $150 for seal labor, $200 for the seals and $350 for the awning fabric. I immedaitely contacted him and told him I already gave him a check for the $300. This was not reflected in his bill. He said he "screwed up" and would return the $300 right away. When he did not return the $300 overpayment, I texted him again on 8/24/2024. He then responded saying there was no overpayment. I contacted him again on 8/27 asking for my $300. Again he refused to return it. As of today, he has not returned the $300 overpayment. I have paid $1300 on a job he billed at $1,000. If you are going to deal with this man, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE HE STARTS ANY WORK AND PAY with a check so you have a RECEIPT of of your transaction.
