We had the opportunity to get Task Hill as our salesman. He came right at us when we walked in with a very enthusiastic friendly introduction. Very professional and courteous. We were a little undecided on exactly what we were looking for but had narrowed down a few things. Task askes all the right questions and methodically proceeded to show us what we wanted. As we climbed into each camper he pointed out the different unique items of each and was quick with the specifications and price range. Task patiently and still very enthusiastic showed us as many campers inside as we wanted to see. Which was almost all of them! We found the one we wanted and Task took care of us all the way through the sale very respectfully. He told us about all of the extras available without any over pressuring. Task and the techs assisted me with my hitch installation and showed me a few things I did not know along with sound advice. I'm thinking we may upgrade our camper in a few years and will look for Task at that time. Please take care of him till we see him again... Do not buy your camper here. They are crooks. The finance guys is like a used care salesman and cannot be trusted. He cons you into things, like the extended warranty, that he will not let you see how much you are paying for it because he wraps it all up in a package. They obviously didn't check to make sure that things were working on the camper because every single thing on it was not built right and not working correctly. Then if they say they can only fix it at Camping world you have to bring it to them, or in my case, pay someone to haul it there. And if you want to sell it on consignment it is the Biggest Rip off ever. Apparently my camper lost a value of $25,000 after only having it one year and having everything fixed on it. Again, they are Crooks!! Never again will I buy from a Camping World anywhere. read more

Starting with Micheal in sales, Jason and Corey in Service and Ryan in "all you need to know about your RV". They are amazing! Patient, thoughtful, straightforward, always answered our calls for "how to do this or that". If I could give zero stars I would. Since I was 17 I've dreamed of owning an RV and traveling the country. I've worked hard for the last 5 years and after putting everything aside at 22yrs old I was finally able to afford one and have a little extra money put away incase of emergencies. October 2022 I purchased an RV from my local Camping World who communicated with the Camping World in Little Falls Minnesota and I made plans to fly 1,100 miles to go and pick it up. Upon arriving I see the RV out front and I ask for someone at the front desk for the keys and to give me a walk through. They refused to give me a tour but after I pressed them they finally asked someone in the back to show it to me. Seeing as how I had never owned an RV before I had a lot of questions but the guy they offered to do the tour was a condescending jerk and anytime I asked him something he told me to just look it up on YouTube. Considering how he wasn't going to be of much help I decided I'd hit the road. After not even 8hrs of driving I stopped to fill up gas and checked the inside, all the lights stopped working in the coach it was dead in the water I tried the generator no good. I finally make my way to the Rochester Camping world and stay the night there. In the morning I take it in for them to look at it. The batteries are completely dead. Day 2 and I already have to buy new batteries and the generator doesn't work at all. The solenoid and battery module is also broken and I'm told it could take a while for it to get fixed. Due to the fact that I just flew half way across the country to pick this up; I don't have anywhere to stay while it's being fixed. I decide to hit the road again in hopes I can make it to my uncles house in Indiana and can stay with him while it's being fixed. Day 3 the check engine light comes on. I go to a Ford shop and they tell me I need to replace my canister purge value. Fast forward exactly 6 weeks later I have wiped out all of my savings all my investments and my transmission has since overheated and I had to pay over -$8k to have it rebuilt. It is now March 7th and I have barely drove this vehicle for a TOTAL OF 3 WEEKS! The generator still is broken. I paid $250 to fix the solenoid and battery module which has now broken again. I have already reached out to corporate and communicated with the dealership and the best they said they can do is offer me a trade allowance that is -$15,600 less than I paid for it leaving me nearly -$24,000 in the hole. read more

Let's start with the good. The employees were kind and friendly when we arrived. We live four hours away, so we made a small trip out of the occasion to purchase this particular brand new camper. We called a few weeks prior to put a deposit and have it held for us. The salesman was nice and answered our questions. The woman who called to schedule, however, was a little curt. Now to the rest of it. We got there, did the walk around, everything looked great and there weren't any issues with the unit. We were thrilled! Went to financing and then was on our way home. Made it home, unpacked the unit (took plastic off mattresses, etc). Starting adding our touches inside with mattress pads and bringing in utensils, etc. Get a call a few days later from CW saying they sent us home with the wrong camper. VIN number was off and the unit all our paperwork was under was actually still at the location. Incredibly annoyed and frustrated, we were told they would bring the correct camper down and they'd switch them out. We have questions of course regarding the condition of the other camper. How could we be sure everything was fine in it? We weren't able to do a walk around in it, and had already signed all the paperwork for it since they took us around what we thought was our camper!! We were assured they have techs and folks who make sure everything is perfect and there won't be any issues. HA. They told us they'd schedule the swap. They did not. Instead, we get a call randomly saying "oh I'll be there in about 30 minutes". This completely interrupted our workdays as this was around 10 am. They are lucky we work from home, otherwise, they would've been stuck waiting all day until we were off. We call the store again because it's raining outside and we can't pop up the camper in the rain to do a proper inspection. We are told we can use the week or so to wait for better weather to ensure all is well. Campers are switched. A week passes and we are able to open it up. And guess what? There is a hole in the canvas, a board is busted on the end inside, and there's a chain broken. After multiple communications back and forth we finally landed on someone from CW driving down to fix these issues and replace the canvas. This entire process was around a month span, and resulted in us having to cancel a camping trip due to the issues. Overall, I will never give camping world any business in the future. The entire process felt predatory and while they ended up fixing the issues, the hassle of the whole situation is ridiculous. Can't trust a company to get their product correct, and then can't trust them to deliver a brand new camper in excellent condition. read more

Worst place to purchase a camper. Bought brand new and was talked into extra paint protection by gaylan in the finance dept they never applied it and my camper yellowed after only two months. ( the slip said it was applied on a day that the camper was parked in my yard) They weren't able to fix half of the issues I had with my new camper and the ones they did fix were hideous. We had to bail out of a vacation and send the camper back to the manufacturer. Camping world offered no help. Save your money and go somewhere else. As recent as yesterday gaylan and another lady from the finance dept had reviews on here posing as customers giving a five star review. That should be all the proof you need to know that these guys are bad news. read more

Stopped in to possibly purchase a new auxiliary brake system for our TOAD. I specifically asked the sales person - who happened to be the "manager", about proportional braking systems as a replacement for my current system. It was really clear he had no clue as to what I was talking about and just proceeded to read off the web site. I can do that and expected some actual expertise when I went to the trouble of stopping into the store. After getting basically getting ignored, I left. The "manager" then starts running after me as if I owed him some attention after he ignored me and gave me no meaningful information beyond what I could read on the CW web site. I expected Changes after sale from Hilmerson's, but this experience has ended my interest in this store. I suggest you go to Pleasureland where the salespeople actually know their products and don't drive you out of the store. read more
