Stopped here for lunch. We were seated quickly but about 20mins to take our order. It's now been 25 mins since order taken and not even the salad or soup yet. Food finally made it to the table, burger small and no flavor. It doesn't come with any side so I ordered soup. The soup was beef barley and there was one piece of meat in it. Service was terrible, only came by for refills as I was finishing my meal. This is obviously a dishonest rating the food I had was sub-par at best. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the french fries were awesome, super crispy and delicious, but what kind of burger/pizza place doesn't have ranch dressing? Yeah the green goddess dressing is much better than ranch but sometimes you just want ranch. Tried to order a pepperoni pizza with sausage and mushrooms but they said we couldn't add any extra ingredients, we asked are they frozen or something? She responded nope they're handmade but no substitutions. I guess they're just too lazy to add extra toppings when they're sitting right there in front of you while you're hand-making a pizza?? There are several things I love about this place: 1. This is literally the only place in the entire valley where whoever is acquiring the beer really knows what they're doing. They use Taphunter so you can see what they have on tap at any given time, and as a brief glance will indicate, they actually typically have a surprisingly solid list. I recently had a long-time personal wish list beer here the other day: Tripel Van de Garre! Incredibly hard to find. They often have other beers you don't really find elsewhere in the area, such as Firestone Walker's barrel-aged stouts and some Melvin beers that aren't 2x4 (though of course that beers amazing), Hubert, or MPA. That said, they do charge more standard craft beer prices, not Idaho prices! 2. An amazing veggie burger (assuming you like mustard) and fries. I'm even going to mention the pickles on the side, because they are freaking tasty. 3. The feel of this place feels like somewhere far, far away. It's modern and feels like your more typical craft beer-centric place. It doesn't have the resort town vibes most places give off around here. On the note of service however, the first time I was here, it was fine. The dude behind the bar had on the Pixies, so I was happy. Second time though, there were a few female server's who I guess were busy (there was about 12 people inside... less than half capacity), as they informed us there was about a 30-minute wait for food, which is acceptable. After handing us the food menus though, it took about 7 minutes to place our first drink orders, which is a really long time to wait for your first drink! Also, within a minute of finishing our second round of drinks, we received the check without being asked, which I understandably find to be quite irritating. For now though, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming the first experience would be more common. I'll certainly be back several more times to re-verify this thanks to their beer selection! read more

Met up w/ 3 new librarian friends in for the #ICfLSummit conference and made our way over here for a late lunch. They got the: IDAHO NACHOS "hand-cut fries covered in chili, cheddar, goat cheese, sour cream & onions" Small $8.25 ~ Large $11.25 I got a Single Wide - which was one golden corn dog & a small bowl of their WAGYU STEAK CHILI which is "Texas style served with onion, sour cream & cheese" - Single Wide - $6.95 Double $9.50 ~I asked for my corndog on the side because I don't like soggy food, or certain food touching, and I'm charmingly OCD that way! See the pictures. I liked this place! It had a hipster, funky, fun, steampunk vibe that was grownup friendly. Want a place to go to with your kids? Here's a Tip - Don't go to a BREW PUB! Don't let your little kids mess with the Bocci court when grownups are playing. Pretty disappointed in the food from here. My husband and I both got chopped salad with chicken. We paid $42 for 2 salads in to-go boxes that were only 1/4 full with food. The salad was warm and mushy. I feel like it sat out for hours. It wouldn't have been enough food to feed a 10 year old. read more

Get the Wagyu Chili! It's amazing! Along with the hot chicken wings and the Ahi tacos! Great service! And cool environment.

1st off: Great Beer Menu. Seems even more special in Hailey. I do recall more rare/ special beers on tap than were tonight but still. 2nd: I'm a vegetarian and the oat burger is one of my favorite burgers. The fries are as well. The homemade hot sauce is fucking delicious and the homemade ketchup is on point. I could eat that for dinner for weeks and not get tired of it - they do it that well. 3rd: The new spot across the street is nice but not as special as the old spot. That was special. More so if you came on open mic night when the crazy talented folks came out and put on a show. This place had the WORST service I've ever experienced!!!!!!! It took over 45+ minutes to get 2- chicken sandwich to go - the waitress was rude, until the owner (I think?) ended up comp'ing the meal. She could never give us an idea of time or how long it would take to get the actual food - we watched numerous other people order after us and get their food before. She seems WAY more concerned about pouring beer then getting food out. About 40 minutes in I walked over towards the kitchen and could have sworn I JUST saw the chef putting the chicken on the grill... While we were there and waiting, I noticed that a few other orders came out in correct and We ended up leaving without food. Pretty disappointing. The very best thing about this place is the prosecco And how much they pour ! Okay and the fries .They have a cute patio to sit at in the summer otherwise it's a bit loud at night and during ski season . The food is good - not amazing but good for a small town in Idaho . The homemade ketchup is better than most . As well as the green goddess hot sauce they have that go with the chicken fritters . The service seems variable . Out waitress wasn't good , and very out of it but the rest of the staff accommodated . They were nice . So I would probably go again when I'm in town like I usually do . read more

Was in Hailey for a Professional Development conference and was looking for somewhere to get something to drink and eat. Power House Bikes, Burgers, Beers came up on one of our searches. Bike shop by day and restaurant by night. Ordered a Finnriver Farmstead Hard Cider and a Sullivan's Irish Red. The cider was very good, and the beer was excellent. We then ordered a Power House Pretzel appetizer which was warm, soft and came with a cup of PH cheese sauce, very good. The side salad was typical 'ditch weed' greens with candied pecans, nice sized and very good. Then came the featured item, the Double Wide. Two deep-fried batter dipped franks smothered in Wagyu Steak Chili, topped with cheddar, goat cheese, onions and sour cream...sooo good. The chili had chunks of steak and was fantastically flavored without being over spiced. If staying longer, would need to go back and try other menu items. read more

I came in for the oat burger and beer and enjoyed both, the green goddess sauce on the side was really good and I loved the presentation of the food and herbs surrounding my plate. The waitstaff seemed robotic and lacked facial expressions that would indicate they enjoy their job and are happy that you are dining at this establishment. Nobody asked how I was doing or how my meal was, just plopped my bill on the table . Thus the 3 star review. I accidentally touched the 20% tip on the pay pad and wish I had not. Really promising menu and set-up, but surprisingly bad on the delivery. It's got a great vibe and when you look at the menu you're like, "oh yeah, this looks really good." But then the food arrived. Burger was shockingly small for the price you paid, and was flavorless to boot. Same with the chicken finger appetizers, which were basically four pieces chicken about the size of a 50 cent piece and essentially unflavored. We also ordered the seasonal vegetables, which were equally lifeless. We also had guacamole, which was watery and possibly the worst I've ever had (and which you had to pay extra for). On the plus side, the beer was good and there were a lot of interesting beers on tap and the staff were friendly. Probably a great place for a drink while you're getting your bike repaired. Several different waiters so of course our meal was messed up. The chilli was sour/off and sent it back. The beer was good but that wasn't the problem. What pissed me off the most was the kids meal was $6.50. We added a extra patty to it (and it wasn't huge it was a small kids patty) and they charged us an extra $5.50! Wtf! This is our favorite "Friday after work" place to go get a great beer, great service and great food. Everyone here works extremely hard! Being locals, we understand that all restaurants are suffering from workforce shortages. Found Power House by chance across the street from our hotel. We loved it. Friendly, helpful staff. When we walked in, the bartender smiled and waved and came out from the bar to help us to a table. Food was delicious. Parmesan truffle fries rocked. Great options for vegans or vegetarians---the oat burger was awesome. Pepperroni pizza got a big thumb up from our 12 yr old. Food and atmosphere are great! The service was amazing and everyone was super sweet. Beer selection was awesome and they had a lot of great food options. We got the sweet chili wings (highly recommend) and we both got the power burger which was pretty amazing. Left full and satisfied. They also had a special soup that I got to-go that was a carrot-ginger leek soup. Wasn't sure about it when I heard it because that could go either way but it was absolutely delicious! Oat burger tacos!!! I get them every time! When ordered with no sour cream, they are vegan and absolutely delicious. My only complaint would be that I think they keep some of the taco toppings close together and I think there is an issue of cross contamination because half the times I order these tacos I find a stray shred of cheese in my tomatoes or greens. I don't mind picking out because they're delicious and vegan options are hard to find in Hailey, but a little closer attention to detail would be much appreciated for us 100% vegans :)) read more
