When they put in your windows and tell you it is a lifetime warranty, they mean that if you have pro lens you have to pay for a new window. They installed windows for us $12000 worth that started to release gas between panes almost immediately. Now, when I want them replaced, I have to pay for new windows. I had a door salesman come to my home because they were doing work in the area. They offered to do a free window estimate and I was also interested in roofing. I rescheduled a few times because of the flu but was excited and ready for the consult. Well it didn't happen. We agreed to cancel as they were adamant about my 40 year old dependent not being available be available for the quote. I explained. I am the homeowner, I am the only name listed on the deed, property tax and utility bills in my name but I guess in 2026 it's not a thing to this company that a female with a PhD could be a home owner and that a male needs to be around. Maybe they'll want my almost 18 year old to listen in on a quote who doesn't do research but as an adult should be present. That was insulting and I decided to go through total service resolution as they are doing my neighbors siding and it's coming out beautifully. Watching them work thoroughly and carefully and the consult was with me and they were understanding that I was interested in roofing and window replacement as I am buying a second property. I had trim, gutters and windows done. Eamon was the salesman and was very informative and professional. The estimate was fair for the worked being performed. Their project tracking app is great since all your documents and photos are easily accessible. All the crews arrived on time and got right to work. Everyone was professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up well once they were finished. The only issue I experienced was with my gutter install. It had been delayed several times due to weather and crew availability. This in turn delayed my trim install. Once the trim and gutter installs were finally scheduled, the guys doing the trim took my gutters down. However, the gutter installation was not done concurrently. Therefore, I was left without gutters during a nor'easter. Overall, I am happy with the work performed. I only wish there was a little more clarity on the scheduling. read more

We wanted to love Power. The team members we interacted with were all kind and knowledgeable. Our main issue is with follow through and communication. We purchased a full roof replacement ($24k) and the job was done within a day. However, on the day of installation, we had to call Power 4x times to inquire whether the correct mold areas were being removed and redecked. This was the primary reason we decided to have our roof replaced because of mold and water concerns. Upon our quality assurance inspection, the moldy areas of the roof were NOT removed and redecked. Our quality assurance team member, Peter, assured us Power would re-do that portion of the work and remove the mold and re-deck. (We were happy with this outcome.) We were told that Chris, the roofing manager, would be giving us a call and doing this work (at a minimum supervising this fix). We were told this work could be done within the week (or shortly after). *Update: However, over a week later, one team member, Greggory, contacted us about the re-installation project. He informed us that the team was originally planning to come Thursday 03/19 (we did not receive a call about this plan or agree to this date), but could no longer come and would likely have to reschedule to Friday 03/20. When asked if Chris would be present for the install, he replied it's unlikely. We have yet to receive a call from Chris or anyone with management. Overall, it feels like we have had to monitor this project every step of the way and the work is still yet to be done correctly. We really wanted to like power, and really wanted to use them for our windows (given they competed half our home with the previous owners), but we would be skeptical to return as customers given the overall customer service experience and serious lack of communication. read more

We recently hired Power for a second time recently, this time to replace our roof and gutters. With my working schedule, I was very particular about installation times and dates. They accommodated me quite well. Weather forecast that day wasn't great so they brought 2 crews to get the jobe done quickly. They worked quickly, and did an excellent job, cleaning up the area quite well at the end. The gutters were done the next day and our home looks great and our gutters are much more effective than the previous set. The two reasons I didnt give 5 stars is that I felt the original gutters they replaced (also installed by Power 10 years ago) never did work sufficiently and I felt they could have done better on the price of replacing them, and their communication after the work was done (setting up QC inspection) needs to improve. I had to call back three times to reschedule. We could have gotten the work done for half the price, but we came back to Power because they stand behind their work and will come back out make it right if something was poorly installed, or even if there is damage caused by Mother Nature. I have needed to call them a couple times and they have been very responsive, even on a holiday weekend, and they dont charge you for that. That is what you pay the premium for. read more

I couldn't recommend Power enough. I had a lot of companies knock on my door and try to sell me their business but something was different with Power. CJ was my first impression of the company and set me up with a consultation for a new roof that was actively leaking and he really was personable and not pushy in the slightest which stood out compared to other companies I've talked to. Connor came by that same day and did an estimate and walk through that was more thorough than my initial inspection of the home when I purchased it. He was super transparent during the process and helped me prioritize what projects really needed addressing first and I felt so confident in my decision after discussing in so much detail until he made sure I understood everything. Buying a roof and siding on a home is a huge investment for anyone but as a first time home owner it was extremely daunting to take that jump and I felt at ease with the team members Power has in every step. Now i have completed my roofing project which only took a day, clean up was above expectations and im so happy with how it came out. My siding and gutters project will be starting soon and again with every person I meet I am pleasantly impressed with how personable they are and how much they know and care about their trade. The window installation itself was excellent -- the crew did a great job, and we're very happy with the quality of the windows. Unfortunately, the experience afterwards left a sour taste. When the inspector came to check the work, he insisted I write a review while he was standing there, even taking a picture of it. (I updated it once he left) On top of that, he kept pushing quotes for siding and other projects, even after we politely declined. It ended up taking much longer than it should have to get him to leave, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I was given a quote for windows and sill repair (as I was advised the sills were rotting). I agreed to the work only because they told me 6 sills were rotted and I was concerned about additional damage. I already had replacement windows, albeit some of which were not installed correctly. I made it clear I only wanted to replace the windows with sill damage because I was selling the home and the windows were fine as is. When the workers came out they said there was no sill damage except one small part and someone would call me about that and an installed broken screen. I waited a week and no call. I called in and the supposed manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. I explained the high pressure scare tactics and he said there was no price difference. I was quoted 11k with the sill work for each window. Im being told there is is no price reduction although I specifically asked at the time of sale if the price included the sill work and was told yes. To find out that it was not an emergent need, and only one small piece was replaced, indicates this is nothing but a scam. I would never have agreed to this work had I known there was no sill damage. The manager tried to reinforce the work was needed; however the workers that were here are the ones that had the windows apart and they were so confused when I mentioned the extreme sill damage. read more

Worst customer service and warranty follow through. We purchased 13 windows for my home (after a very long and boring sales pitch totally about 2 hours) and we have had nothing but problems since. They came twice to replace windows that were under a LIFETIME warranty but it took 2 years to get them here. They said they production issues but interesting enough if I was a new customer they would be here in a 1 week to do the job. Now we have 3 more windows with a permanent fog and they said that the lifetime warranty is no longer valid. The window company the dealt with is no longer in business ( because their windows are terrible) and now I must pay $180 a window to replace with something very similar. So much for a lifetime warranty- which is why we paid double the price for the windows to begin with. Stay away from them. They are not a good company and the windows are garbage. read more

They talk at good game, kind of hard sell and we unfortunately fell for it. We had gutters installed and not only was the trim not done properly, but I pulled over 30 nails out of the grass in my back yard. I had 7 windows put in. The bathroom leaks, the living room window moves up and down even when locked. The crank out window in my kitchen was measured wrong and is inches too small. They had to use oversized screws, then stuff it with spray foam to take up the gap. Unfortunately they destroyed the original window (in the middle of winter) or I would have had the put it back in. I've had 4 inspectors here. The first 3 said they would get things fixed, but I never heard anything else. Upon calling to inquire what was happening, they simply sent out a different inspector. The 4th one insists everything is fine. They will replace my kitchen window at a reduced price, but he cliams that the existing one is within their tolerance. If these mis-measured, poor quality windows are the norm for this company then they're way overpriced, over 14k for 7 windows and new gutters. My husband is now disabled, but he used to do contracting for a living, their work far below acceptable. I left a favorable BBB review and signed the final paperwork with full assurance all our problems would be taken care of and fixed. Buyers regret is an understament. Beware. They're overpriced and their workmanship is shoddy and any promises they make mean nothing. I'm just glad we didn't have the money to let them do the siding and the roof right now. Power home remodeling has been a fantastic partner in the siding, gutter replacement and fascia soffit replacement. Our house was old and drafty, as soon as they got to work and stripped the old siding, they put up a proprietary house wrap, that instantly made it warmer. The siding has molded insulation for the vinyl that is imbedded with graphite to act as an I.R. reflector. Every person that has been sent, has done an excellent and very competent job. They take photos every day and poat the to the job progress page and clean up the site prior to leaving everyday. They listen to us, the homeowners and always keep us apprised and in the loop. There are no mysteries. The contractors are only allowed to do one project at a time, so when the crew is there, you know they are devoting 100% of their time and energy to your job. The project manager always keepa in touch via texts and phone calls. They tell you when to expect the crew each day and want to know if you have any queations or concerns to be addressed. I can contact my project manager anytime. I foumd him to very polite and pleasant. He even pitches in and does work when on site. Power home remodeling even sends out a quality assurance mamager, who gets no info about the project and is expected to evaluate the site once on site cold. I found this person to very knowledgeable and helpful, too. He helped us get even more done for virtually the same lian payment. We never feel harassed or put upon by any employee. We needed something for our house that was missing, and the project manager drove all the way to New York, to pick it up and bring it to the site in Willimantic, ct., the same day. They also, help get the homeowners financing at pretty good rates and even try to do better as the project advances if tgey can. There is no upfront payment. Nothing is due, until project completion. There is no penalty for paying more on the lians either. They got us a 14 year loan for about $50,000. I would suggeat to anyone that can, use them to remidel and do your home. I don't forsee you being disappointed. The quality of their products is quite good, and a lot better than most peoples stuff i have seen. They also, have a lifetime warranty on their siding, if it is damaged, snap a picture and send it to them and they will fix it ASAP, at no charge. On top of all this, they rake out a multi-million dollar policy towards it for install. It covers any injuries that may occur on site. Though, from what i have seen, it doesn't get used often.
