DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY I have complained about the window since install in September 2025. A guy came right away to see the problem gave me a wait and see answer. Windows closed for the winter. Come April still the same problem along with noticing same problem with another window. When closing the bottom window the top comes with it. If you only open halfway and don't notice the top window has come with it you get Bees and other flying bugs in your house. The tilt wash button doesn't move so thats bro. The windows dont line up for locking. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have no one until September 2026 ! If ever.... Lifetime warranty ? I guess it takes a lifetime for them to service defective windows. 4 double hung windows $4800 what a rip off for "Pella" windows. I doubt it. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Power Window Treatments. What should have been a straightforward installation turned into a frustrating, stressful, and time-consuming ordeal due to repeated errors by their management team. The company failed to measure the windows correctly on multiple occasions, which led to incorrect orders and missing windows. As a result, their team had to return to my home several times. With multiple small children in the house, coordinating these unscheduled visits was extremely difficult and created a huge burden for my family. These disruptions affected both my workday and our daily routine. These issues were not due to the installers themselves, who were professional and courteous despite being given incorrect information from the office. However, the complete lack of follow-through from managers Alex and Chris made everything worse. They never sent a quality assurance specialist to double-check the work, and I was never given advance notice of when the installers would be returning... they just showed up unannounced. Despite several attempts to contact both Alex and Chris directly to resolve these problems, I never received a single callback. Their poor communication and lack of accountability turned a bad experience into an unacceptable one. I would not recommend Power Window Treatments to anyone, especially families. Save yourself the headache and stress, it's better just to go with a company that actually follows through on their commitments and save your self all hemming and ha-ing and just go with a better company. read more

Lifetime Warranty Not Honored Power Home Remodeling Group approached me while canvassing my neighborhood and identified work that my home needed. I agreed to hear their proposal, which covered windows, doors, siding, and roofing. The presentation was polished but very long and quite pushy. While that gave me some pause, I ultimately moved forward because I needed new windows, a neighbor recommended them, and the lifetime warranty was strongly emphasized as a key benefit. In 2014, Power Home installed nine windows for approximately $9,000. The installation itself was professional and well executed, and at the time I was satisfied with the work. In 2025, I began noticing discoloration in several of the windows, which worsened over time and affected multiple units. When I contacted Power Home, I was told the window seals were failing. I was then informed that because the window manufacturer is now out of business, the windows could only be replaced if I paid for each replacement. This was not what was represented to me when I agreed to the contract. The lifetime warranty was presented as covering full replacement at no cost, and it is disappointing to learn years later that this coverage is effectively void due to their choice of manufacturer. I feel misled and believe the lifetime warranty was not honored as it was sold to me. I am sharing this experience so others are aware that the warranty may not offer the protection they expect. read more

Power installed our windows in 2013 and we've been thrilled with the look, quality and durability. The lifetime warranty was a huge selling point for us. When we knew our aging roof wasn't going to last much longer, we knew who to call. They gave us fair, loyal customer pricing and excellent financing. The team was courteous, respectful and cleaned up when the job was done. They had the entire roof complete in less than 2 days and it looks fabulous. I'm so happy I trusted Power and we just signed to have them do our siding as well. I'm excited to experience our "new house" with all the improvements! We just got our siding finished in Regatta Blue. We had to have asbestos shingles removed from the back of our house and Power worked with us on pricing to hire a local contractor to get it done safely. Power had to postpone on us twice due to the weather, but it worked out okay. I was getting nervous because of all the bad reviews on here. They said it would take three days and finished in 2. They cleaned up after themselves and everything looks perfect. The team was nice and responsive. I wasn't thrilled that they disconnected my internet without warning me, but they hooked it up again before they left for the day. I would have liked a heads up since I work from home, but I understand why they had to disconnect while they worked on that area. All in all, it was finished quickly, with minimal disruption to our routine, pricing and financing seemed fair, and I'm happy with the end result. For all of those who say they "bribe" customers for good reviews, that was not the case here at all! We negotiated on price but that was separate from any reviews or coverage and price was already determined. We didn't get anything for free or, as a journalist for top ecommerce outlets and an elite yelp reviewer, I would have to disclose that. So if other people got discounts - I'd be mad! Overpriced, shoddy workmanship. Horrible customer service. I had siding, gutters and roof replaced. There are problems with all of them. The gutters leak, the siding trim is sloppy, and the roof pitch does not channel the water properly. They refuse to even show up for scheduled service appointments. They did show up once (out of 5 scheduled appointments) but it was after dark and he couldn't fix anything. read more

First, Power Home Remodeling's price is somewhat higher than that of local companies. Second, I am not satisfied with the quality of the finishing work. The salesperson was also very aggressive during the sales process. At our initial meeting, we were told that the company would take care of everything. However, the roof installation caused damage to the interior ceiling, and the roofing crew informed me that they do not handle interior repairs and that fixing the damage would be my responsibility. After the work was completed, a quality assurance representative visited my home. He told me to keep the receipt after repairing the interior ceiling and said that he would send me information about reimbursement. However, he never contacted me again. During the same visit, he was more focused on trying to sell me new windows. There was also damage to the siding. A crew later came to repair it, but when I returned home, I found the repaired piece lying in front of my door. Next time they use glue to hold the piece, however, again, it felt. This made me seriously question the quality and durability of their work. Based on my overall experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend Power Home Remodeling to a friend. Horrible warranty on windows that cost way too much. After having windows installed a few years back we had an issue with the seal on our bay window, it took the company over 10 months to get the window in and replace it. Now 2 years later every single double hung window we have has seal issues on both top and bottom and they are telling us that the manufacturer they dealt with discontinued the windows and they can no longer fix under warranty but they can order a replacement sash for top and for bottom both coating $180 each - $360 for each window!!!!! I do not recommend going with them for any type of new window installation because lifetime warranty is not what they are offering. Its all a scam and I will not pay them $2600 to replace a sash that this will most likely happen again in a few years , it's not a coincidence it's every single window at the same exact time.... read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This is the second time I have used them. The first time in 2016, no problems at all. I had windows replaced and front siding. This time around not so much. We had over 40,000 dollars worth of work done, and they cant even return a call. This time they 1. Installed French Doors in my house. I was home while they were doing it and had to point out that they installed them backwards. They took them out and fixed it but when they did they scratched the bottom of the new doors. The door scraped and never closed correctly. They replaced the slabs but the door still does not close correctly. They promised a whole new door, with frame would be in in three weeks. It's well over three weeks and they won't return my call. 2. Then I had the other three sides sided. Day 1 the did not clean up. The perimeter of my house was riddled with nails. I have three dogs, my husband and I had to clean them up. 3. Then they did the insulation in my attic. While doing this the tube that blows the insulation in chewed up my freshley painted wall and sheetrock. They did allow us to get it repaired and reimburse us. 4. Also while doing the attic they sliced the wires to two of my security cameras. I was told to get some quotes to repair and someone would contact me. I contacted them at least 4 times and each time told someone would call back. Each time I try to call I am on hold a minimum of 10 minutes. I have spoken to Brandon, Jacob, Rob, Alex and Cassai. My last attempt was September 23, 2026. I spoke to Cassai and expressed my dissatisfaction. I said I would like 1 manager from someplace that can answer all my questions about each department because I am tired of being told that's not my department. I have been more then patient and fully understand things happen, but the COMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW THROUGH ARE HORRIBLE. Now I understand why they make you fill out the job completion papers asap. Because once they start getting paid they no longer care. I have left a positive review on Google. The guy was here and asked me to do it before he left. I Will change it as soon as I figure it out. We have had ongoing issues with this company across multiple installations. The initial window installation had quality problems, including messy grout, paint damage from tape removal, and a defective window. After replacement, the new window still does not stay open. When concerns were raised, a supervisor visited the home but also discussed additional sales for siding and a front door, which we proceeded with. During the siding installation, multiple holes were left in interior walls, requiring documentation and third-party repair work. The front door installation was also incomplete, as a promised keypad was not installed and required a follow-up visit. Communication has been a persistent issue. Multiple requests for a manager callback have not been returned, and we were informed the earliest available service appointment to address the window issue is approximately five months out. At this time, we have an unresolved functional issue with the window and have not received timely support despite repeated attempts to resolve it. We would not recommend based on our experience with installation quality and service follow-through. read more

Fast efficient installation. Salesman was straightforward ans honest. Selection was good with quick displays of the door being installed. We the customer made a mistake and once we found it in 24 hours Power fixed the issue before installation at no cost to us. Installation of the door was super fast and came out great. While they have done great work and come along to check on a regular basis, beware that the first time you have an issue they fail to live up to their service claim. They installed windows, soffets and gutters around the entire home. One of the gutters in the back is leaking and they claim that they did not install the gutters on the back of the house and refuse to send anyone to check out the issue. I recently had windows and doors installed. The lock on the door would not lock and the paneling is separating on the door along the molding. Called to have them fix the issue they sent someone 3 weeks later only to give me a temporary lock with "1" key until they get me a new lock and did not replace the paneling. They promise you on day 1 they will replace Any issue ASAP and that is not true. Now I have a gold door know with a sliver lock. The service and communication with this company is awful. Power home remodeling is no longer honoring their "double lifetime warranty" on their windows. They have sold many people faulty windows that have seal failure within a few years. All of our windows have had to be replaced with in a few years of being replaced by Power. This was frustrating but for a while Power replaced at no charge. Now they have devised a plan to make customers responsible for paying $180 per window sash. I have four that need to be replaced currently. I wish companies would do the right thing. Don't they realize that by covering the $800 to do these replacements would end up giving them more business in the long run when customers applaud them for doing the right thing. Called about the warranty and guess what they do not carry that line of window anymore. I am not shocked since the seals failed. This company is defrauding customers. I was sold windows 10 years ago with a lifetime guarantee on replacement. In May of this year, I had two sales reps come to my home and confirm that although they do not do by with the window company that made the windows that I have , they would honor the guarantee. I called today, August 7, and was told the guarantee was void and I would have to pay $180 per window to get the windows fixed. When asked to speak to leadership, I was told they don't have a customer service number. There was no communication from the company that they warranty was changing and this is crazy that they are now asking for $180 per window to fulfill their warranty. Btw, why do door to door solicitors deem it necessary to tell you that they completed work at your neighbors' home? Rob reconfirmed my 6:30p appt w/Brice who then said, 2 minutes later, my 6:30p is no longer available. Rob then asked if he could come 7p, or the following day. We paid a significant amount of money for a bow window replacement advertised as high-quality and backed by a lifetime guarantee. Only six years later, the window began having serious issues. When I contacted the company, they assured me the problem would be resolved under the warranty. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been completely unacceptable. For the first repair appointment, my husband took a full day off from work to be home. The crew arrived with the WRONG glass and admitted they could not complete the repair. We were told another appointment would be necessary. For the second appointment, I personally took a day off from work. We were told the crew would arrive at 1 PM. After multiple unanswered calls and no communication, they finally arrived around 4:30 PM, only to tell us they were once again unprepared, did not bring the required materials, and could not complete the work. At this point, we have lost multiple workdays due to this company's incompetence, lack of preparation, poor communication, and complete disregard for customers' time. A lifetime guarantee means very little if a company cannot properly coordinate repairs, honor appointment times, or come prepared to do the work they scheduled. For a company charging premium prices, this level of service is extremely disappointing. Customers deserve honesty, professionalism, and accountability.
