Wolves in sheep's clothing. As a homeowner worst mistake I've made is choosing this company. Delayed responses, double talk and ridiculously long time for repairs. I used this company for windows and a door and I am regretting it ever since. The salesman was a smooth operator and did his job well, he sold me windows. Three weeks after the installation I had a problem with one of the windows and at that time they made good on it and it was replaced after trying multiple bubble gum band aid repairs. The door which was sold to me by Robert Cisanik another snake oil salesman who also doubled as a "quality assurance manager" spoke of how the door would be manufactured specifically for my home and blah blah blah. After the contract was signed I asked if they also installed storm doors I was told that I cannot install a storm door because it would void the warranty. What!!!! I said how I need to open my "New Back Door" to allow for cross ventilation and was told a storm door would fade the exterior door paint and the company would not be responsible for it. I asked why would the paint fade when I was told that nothing but superior materials were used in the construction of doors and windows and was told it would fade from the sun. I said I wanted to cancel and he said it was too late. Since then I've had more problems with the door than I had with the window. The weather striping is falling off the side of the door frame and the door sweep is separating from the door. When after three months of waiting for the repair of the weather stripping they arrived and had the wrong part. (weather stripping, Wrong part?) After a very lengthy wait the weather stripping was replaced. As I had the trained repairman here I mentioned the door hinge was squeaking and was told to put lemon pledge on it because it would stop the squeak and it smells good. (Another bubble gum band aid fix) I also asked why does it take so long to have repairs done and was told they are understaffed and cannot cover all the installations / repairs. As another problem has begun with my door, the bottom door knob does not close properly into the door frame without pushing the door to lock into place. So now one door and I need two repairs done. As I write this review I called Power, to let them know about the door knob/lock problem and if there was any chance I can have my repairs expedited, I was told that the company that manufactures the doors is no longer in business ( does that also mean Windows too and why was I not notified.) and that Power was looking into other companies to match parts for my "specific" door. So I have a new door that needs repair and a company that cannot repair because their manufacturer is out of business. So much for lifetime warranty. Paid a large sum of money for my windows and door but cannot get repairs from them the only consistent action I get is from the company that bills me monthly. I had 14 windows replaced and some of the wood around the window were rotted according to the agreement they were supposed to replace the rotten wood and they didn't. When I went to tell them the wood is rotten instead of addressing the issue they tell me to leave the working area. They installed many windows in rotted wood. Power employees came to replace the windows at 8 am and at 1:30 pm they already just wanted to go home. Two of the window screens were warped, they tried to fix them to no avail but they tell us not to push on the screens. We didn't push the screens but even if we had the screen should not get warped the way it was. I was unable to inspect many of the windows because now while I was talking to the project manager (on the phone) they were just trying to replace the windows quickly to cover up the rotten wood. They are sneaky and should not be trusted. The "project manager" said he will come to my house "if he can" to address my concerns and he never showed up. I am not comfortable with Power and their unprofessional and offending behavior of their employees. I was never involved with such disrespectful people, I went outside to inspect some of the windows no one was speaking when I came out they started speaking and cursing in Spanish using words like "puta". And one of them spit (a nasty gooey spit) on my walkway while walking by me like he was spitting at me. Then one of them asked me were I was from (I guess maybe to see if I understood what they were saying) then when I told him were I migrated from he started laughing. I didn't understand what was so funny. Furthermore this is nothing considering what has already happed, under one of the windows there were shrubs which they destroyed (I'm including this because I feel that this was intentional). Don't buy into it when they tell you that you're going to have a "project manager" he will handle what ever you need, my project manager didn't even show up after I called him to address any of my concerns. I wish I read some of the comments on BBB and or Yelp before going with this shady company. Do not let this company come in your home. Do not work with this company. Beware wary of this shady company. I will never use this company again. I hope and PRAY that nothing goes wrong with the windows that they installed because I cannot have this disgraceful company named Power Home Remodeling Group LLC back in my home. A Power salesperson visited my home and proposed a package including a new roof, fascia, soffits, and gutters for a whopping $42,000 for my 1500 sqft roof. To add pressure, they offered an "efficiency" discount of $33,777 if I accepted the offer by the end of the day. I hadn't obtained other estimates yet, so I informed the salesperson that I was not prepared to commit to an agreement. Looking back, I am incredibly relieved that I did not proceed with Power. During the attic inspection, we discovered a gap between two pieces of plywood at the roof's eave, potentially causing a leak with watermarks present below the gap but in front of a vent. The salesperson insisted that the plywood had to be replaced and claimed that all the plywood on the roof needed to be upgraded to 1/2" thickness to comply with building codes. They even stated that Power would refuse the work if they couldn't replace all the plywood, as it would violate building codes. I discovered that the salesperson's statements were misleading. While it is accurate that new roof constructions require 1/2" plywood for sheathing, existing roofs can be replaced with the same thickness as the original plywood to meet building code requirements. Furthermore, the salesperson recommended installing a power vent despite my roof already having adequate ventilation through the soffits and eave vent. This further raised concerns and added to my frustration. In my annoyance, I attempted to involve consumer reporters from local news outlets to investigate the quote. Fortunately, for Power no local news outlet followed up. However, I had forgotten about it until I received a call from Power when I was asked about my experience with Power, and while sharing the details I have mentioned here, the person abruptly hung up on me. While I understand the limitations and potential biases of online reviews, including my own, I feel compelled to express my lack of trust in this company. Based on my personal encounter, I strongly advise against doing business with Power. If you do decide to engage with them, I urge you to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough research, and be aware of the issues I have highlighted. read more

Poor quality product, do not honor there warranty, and also dishonest when dealing with there customers and show little concerns for issues caused by there shoddy product and poor installation job. i spent over $33k on doors and 22 windows, after a few months i noticed water coming in through the new bay window installed, I called in May 2023 to report and they were not able to send someone until October. They re-caulked window and were adamant this would solve the problem. The window leaked worse after that, coming from underneith the window seat as well as in both corners ruining my sheetrock and floor with every rainstorm, i called back they were next available Dec 28th. service man Danny said they can re-caulk window, but I explained I can not take any chances and would prefer a new window as he could see water was pouring in from undernetih and at the top. he said okay he would put in for warranty claim to replace window and some one would call me back tomorrow. After 3 weeks of no contact I called back and they said that the was denied and I refused service which was a a complete lie, no body contacted me to tell me the warranty claim was denied. They said they could next send some one in May to service again. i explained I cannot wait that long as my home is being destroyed by the water, she said there is nothing they can do, when I asked to speak with a manger she said she would pass my info to a supervisor who may or may not call me back. Highly shady company with inferior product, who do not stand by there warranty or product and treat there good customers like dirt. I will likely have to replace the garbage window on my own now to avoid further damages to my home and try to recoup damages. Avoid this company like the plague!! read more

Why should I have to send email to the specific email you provide when I am on the phone & emailing your company yet still getting CRAPPY results?!? My saga still continues.... On 1/19/2021, project manager came to review all my concerns and made list. During this time he found an issue with the bathroom window they installed. He made a 'quick fix' and said he would have the contractors look at it when they came. All was scheduled to be taken care of on 1/20, this included our front window installation which they moved up from 1/29. On 1/20/21 the same contractors who started the project came again to install front window and repair some of the issues that were listed on email. There were issues NOT addressed, and the bathroom window was deemed broken, we were told it needed to be replaced. Contractor informed the project manager of all this over the phone, and also informed the project manager that we would not sign the form they wanted us to sign saying they finished what they came to do. Project manager called me & left voicemail saying he would call back, but never did. I sent an email on 1/21, advising of all the issues and what was not addressed, received no response. I followed up with a call on 1/23 [notice I let a whole day go by], left a message and now I am forced to wait until beginning of week to start this all over. I am beyond frustrated, and to receive NO type of response is SO UNPROFESSIONAL! Do I need to mention that project is still not completed?!? If I could give Power 20 stars on here, I would. From start to finish, my husband and I have been blown away by Power's care, hard work and efficiency in installing all new windows in our home. Our sales representative, Connor, blew us away with an amazing product that was presented to us in such a way that we did not feel like we were being "sold" on something. The product speaks for itself, but Connor certainly helped facilitate the message. Then, Michael was amazing for the pre-install inspection. He measured everything and made sure we were clear on everything that was being done. Our project manager Rob Stoher was also always in communication with us, always keeping us up to date and informed on the project and install instructions. Luis and his team of installers were wonderful. Even on a very very rainy day, they kept my house clean and dry. I was blown away when I saw the finished product. I never thought new windows could make me so happy!! Even Jed who came to us for the final inspection to sign off on everything was incredible and made sure we were happy with the product and the install. From soup to nuts, the whole process was so easy and everyone that we ever dealt with treated us with the utmost courtesy, professionalism and care, including everyone at customer service. I have already scheduled my estimate for siding!! I can not wait to use Power again. For someone who has a pretty nasty track record with contractors, if I'm giving them 5 stars - that really says a lot! Thank you Power for the amazing job you have done, start to finish! We hired this company to replace every window in our house, including what they proudly called the largest window unit they had ever installed. My husband worked closely with them to complete the job. They were polite, responsive, and full of promises--right up until they got our money. Soon after installation, the massive window began to leak. They came back to replace part of it, then returned again to add braces, admitting it was too heavy. But the truth is--they never anchored it properly. Now it's pulling on our roof, causing flooding every time it rains. Our interior has been severely damaged--floors warped, walls ruined, and constant stress trying to keep up with the mess. To make matters worse, every window they installed is now covered in spots and sun damage. The materials are clearly low-quality and not built to last. What should've been a solid investment has turned into a complete nightmare. They promised to come back and fix the major issues in April of last year--and never showed. And the final slap in the face? They've been sending salespeople to our house, trying to drum up new business, while ignoring the disaster they left behind. We are filing a formal report, and I will be posting this experience on every platform possible. Their customer service is nonexistent, their installation was negligent, and they refuse to take responsibility for the damage they've caused. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Power Home Remodeling replaced all my Home Windows and sliders just 2 months ago. Joe Walsh, the salesman, apparently duped us into believing that if anything happened to our windows or screens, (such as broken glass, broken handle, ripped screen etc.) that they would be replaced under the warranty by this company. When I called today to inquire about a screen repair, I was specifically told the exact opposite. I was told that the warranty really only covers manufacturers defect and installation issues. When I was told was that they could "as a matter of courtesy" fix the problem, but that it was not covered for payment under the warranty. I told him that the salesman specifically told us that the only thing that would not be covered under the warranty was if we screwed through the framework of the window. The response I got to this was "I was not there when the sales person spoke to you so I don't know what he told you, and I can only tell you what the warranty covers." They played a game with words. What he said was that "they would replace or fix anything that breaks" but and apparently did not mean that I wouldn't have to pay for them to do it. This is clearly a bait and switch operation. When the salesman came into my home with a sample window and hit it with a 2 x 4, it didn't break. He sold us on the purported quality and his expressed guarantee/warranty. I'm pretty confident if I did it to any of the windows in my house now, it would shatter. read more

This company has been a horror from the initial stages!! My nightmare began the day they were scheduled to install the windows. They didn't show up, but called on the day they were supposed to show and said the order wasn't ready. This happened twice!! When they finally show for the installation, they didn't close off of the sections they were working in, left my home exposed to the cold, they were supposed to work on 1 room at a time, but they were all over the place. Needless to say, NONE of what they claim to do. They didn't finish the job in the 2-3 days as they promised. The job actually took almost 3 weeks before they came back to fully complete. Now to make matter worst, 3 months later we find 1 of the windows are defective. We call and are told that we cannot get a replacement window until early 2022!! We tried to push them for earlier, so they told us our window would be replaced on July 6th. Today is July 6th and we received a call saying our window is on backorder! Would you believe that?? And their customer service representative told me [verbatim] "You have been told that we cannot tell you when the window will be ready, we will call you when it is and that is the best we can do." Their customer service people need to be more informed and better trained to handle unhappy customers since they are working for a company who doesn't provide the product or service that they advertise. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Power Home Remodeling. My siding project started back in February and has been nothing but delays, poor communication, and unfinished work. During the process, we even experienced burst pipes, which added to the stress and disruption in my home. Now it's mid-April, and my house is still noticeably drafty--completely unacceptable after a full siding job. To make matters worse, my gutters and air conditioning conduits have still not been properly reattached to the house. What's most frustrating is the lack of follow-through. "Leadership" assured me that a crew would come out, remove all siding, perform a full inspection, and properly cap around all windows and doors. That never happened. Instead, crews show up and only do quick patchwork recapping in certain areas, leaving the core issues unresolved. I have made multiple calls to the company, each time being promised a callback that never comes. At this point, it feels like I am being ignored while living in a home that is clearly not properly sealed. This has been an incredibly frustrating and exhausting experience. I am updating my review. House came out wonderful. Crew was fantastic. Clean, great. The only thing I would be aware of is after the work is done, they try to come on hard and sell more services. Now, we made it very very clear that we could only do the front of the house for siding. With college tuition, etc we simply could not side the whole house and made that clear to gentlemen who came for final look. He was extremely insistent with my husband. I had a webinar to go on and he asked my husband to get me off webinar so I could listen to his pitch. My husband emphasized that I could not be interrupted and I too, only wanted the front siding at the time. I am giving 5 stars because house came out great, Nelson and his crew were clean, efficient and responsive. Eric, Mike, Ryan were all helpful, courteous and gracious . But just be alerted that once job is done, they come on hard to hard sell you more services. It's a shame because Power does an excellent job on the house. The salesman made me feel like I made a great choice when choosing Power. Everything was downhill from there. The rest of my experience did not meet my expectations. I was not made aware of the multiple credit inquiries until after they where done. I was told that they couldn't do a portion of my roof because they could not promise their lifetime warranty on it, which is fine, but my price on contract did not decrease. I was also told that I had to be on site after being told I did not have to be on site. When I took the morning off to be on site I was not asked to varify anything. A dumpster was left blocking my shared driveway overnight. Loose nails were left on my roof. They did not initially do my windows which was in my contract. A Power sign was put outside of my house without my knowledge. I was naive to think that they actually cared. They care about making sales and that's it. All the work is now completed and my house does look like it's in good shape but I can't help but wonder how will Power disappoint me next. I'm sure some sort of disappointment will come out of their "Lifetime Warranty". read more

This company recently did a roofing job over a garage/family room and we are extremely pleased. When we had the roof done years ago by other contractors-unbeknownst to us things were not done properly and we had developed leaks when it rained. The project manager from Power Home came to explain everything-we were very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. It was very comforting to know that things would be done and done well. It's so important when fixing a roof that things be done right-we never knew the proper way/technique previously but now seeing how well protected our new roof is-and how much effort this company puts in to doing things right, I can honestly recommend them. They are fairly priced-and we were a previous customer(they had also done our 3 front bay windows). I had gotten a couple of other estimates for a new roof from other companies that were absurdly high. This company stands behind their products and workers. The workers cleaned up very well after the job. If we need any further work done in or on our home-we will definitely be calling them. read more

My parents and I have lived in our house for about 15 years. We had never changed the windows , but they needed to be changed out . The previous owners lived here for decades and they were starting to get very foggy and were letting in the cold making the heat bill sky rocket every month. My mom was approached by a man named Justin in bjs and he introduced himself and the company and she became very interested. Fast forward a month my parents decided to go ahead with the company. Justin came by for a few hours explained everything to us showed us pictures of windows . We explained what we wanted and he made it happen . They came and installed 7 new windows and wow are we happy. Theres no draft the people were friendly did not leave 1 piece of anything behind they sealed everything perfectly. The windows are beautiful very modern and very clean looking . They are going to be very easy to clean and perfect for the summer months to come over all we are so happy with everything and would definitely recommend them in a heart beat . read more

I chose Power over Pella, and I was not disappointed! Excellent communication between the original visit, discussing our needs down to the installation team, that ensured our needs were met. Jesus, Luis and Christian were our installers... terrific team work. I especially liked the fact that they took care to cover furniture and cleaned up very carefully. Even though I insisted that I would clean after... they ensured that they did their part regardless. I absolutely loved that an inspector came down just about 2 hours after install to ensure windows were in properly. He inspected every window very carefully. I did not get that service from Pella when I had my first set of windows installed. I received two calls during the installation process, just to ensure that everything was going smoothly and to ensure they were no questions nor issues. Lots of communication left me at ease. I love the new windows and I am very pleased with the installation. read more

We are extremely disappointed with our experience. After having a bay window installed by this company, we began experiencing significant water leakage through the window. What should have been a beautiful home improvement has instead caused immense damage to our property, along with ongoing stress and additional damage. Since discovering the issue, we have repeatedly reached out to the company seeking assistance and accountability. Unfortunately, the customer service has been incredibly poor. Our calls and messages have gone unanswered or have been met with little urgency or concern. There has been a clear lack of care and responsibility toward resolving a serious problem caused by their installation. When you invest in new windows, you expect quality workmanship and a company that stands behind its product. Sadly, that has not been our experience. We feel let down not only by the workmanship but also by the complete lack of customer support afterward. read more

I am very happy with the work done by Power Home Remodeling Group on my home. Thus far the roof and siding on the house have been done with thorough inspection and utmost care. The project manager is very helpful, knowledgeable and thorough when answering our questions. The pre-install inspector was very thorough and quick making sure that my husband and I knew exactly what we wanted. The install crews for both the roof and the siding were amazing. They did their work efficiently and wonderfully and were very clean when they were done for the day. Power has the best and most efficient customer service. I called with some adjustments and they were able to give me a call back within a day and also send someone out to the house later that week for measurements and adjustments. I would recommend Power to any one who is looking to have their home remodeled. I am also looking to use Power for another project in the near future. read more

DO NOT USE !! WARRANTY IS BOGUS !! They talk a good game, but there is no point in having "Lifetime warranty" when you come home to water leaking into your window and down your wall in May, and they tell you that October is the soonest they can get there - Either they are so swamped with repair work ( I doubt ) or they just hope you'll go away, but either way You are the one STUCK. When I told them that I would be returning to Florida for the winter in September and would need an appointment before then, I was told that if we weren't available for October, they could do it NEXT YEAR !!! I said that was NOT acceptable, because no one would be here to clean up the ACTIVE LEAK and it would destroy my home ! I was told "That's all I can do - Have a nice day" and was then HUNG UP ON ! Thinking of contacting a lawyer for breach of contract, but my biggest regret is that I referred friends to them. read more

Had my gutters replaced. They left over a dozen brackets with rusty nails sticking out of them, as well as dozens of loose screws and nails scattered all over my lawn. There was even a bright white piece of plywood with nails sticking up left by the gate to the backyard. Prior to this I had scheduled to have my siding done by Power but decided against it after seeing how careless this company is about the work they do. After reaching out to the company and waiting days to receive a response, the representative i spoke to offered to come over with a magnet to try to pick up any screws or nails still left in the lawn, which I said that I would appreciate but as soon as I mentioned that I would like to cancel the upcoming siding work, he said that he couldn't hear me due to bad cell service and rushed me off the phone. Never heard back from anyone from power since. read more
