Power was excellent! The representative was extremely informative and professional. Everything he promised was delivered. The installers were extremely professional and worked like a well oiled machine. I can already notice my AC doesn't run all day anymore and my rooms are cooler. Can't wait to get my first energy bill, I'm positive I'll see some savings! read more

Highly recommended this company. They're very efficient and thorough. Rep Jon Buggs sold me his presentation.

Power replaced the windows in my home today. The Windows look great and are a huge improvement. The entire process has gone well: showed up on time, kept me informed via phone of the appointment and a QA showed up during the install to ensure everything was going smoothly. The price for the Windows and install was very competitive and I am quite happy with the results. read more

Worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. RUN AWAY! Their high pressure sale tactics are over the top and their sales presentation is beyond ridiculous. I told the guy that we needed to wrap it up 5 times and he wouldn't stop, he just kept on within his presentation, WTF! I would never hire a company that makes their sales guys do this. Legitimate companies don't need to play these games. I really hope they don't call me with a follow up, I"ll loose my shit. read more

We first came into contact with PHRG at bj's in Woodstock. From that initial contact with Patrick through our estimate by Ali to our installers Jamie, Fletch and Chris, we were extremely pleased with their professionalism, thoroughness, and competence. The installers did an amazing job and we are very happy with the results. Our new windows and doors are great!! Thanks to everyone from PHRG for a job well done. I couln't be more pleased by the window install job from Power. The process was very professional from start to finish. I don't like dealing with sales people, but Kyle an Brandon gave a great presentation. We have shopped and researched windows and while Power is not the cheapest, the value is very high and I trust the company. Plus, the warranty is amazing. read more

They love to harrass our neighborhood by going door to door and leaving a bunch of flyers everywhere even though there is a clear no soliciting sign. When I do need remodeling I'll make a note NOT to use them just for the annoyance read more

The estimator was courteous and professional but he was fighting a losing battle. I can't find fault with the roofing products they use or their installation method but the price was more than triple of the other four estimates I got. If you ask for an estimate be ready for a long sales presentation. I had to cross them off my list. My experience was in the Atlanta area. I don't know why I am listed in San Fran. read more

My husband & I have a strict policy in our marriage that we never entertain the idea of a divorce no matter how mad we are. It actually crossed my mind for the first time after he subjected me to over 3 hours of torture in dealing with this company. We happen to need a new roof & so when these people came knocking at our door while I was making dinner I told him to handle it. Well 3 hours of a boring, high pressure sales pitch later we got our $30k roof quote, but if you agree today we can do it for the low, low price of $18k. The one sales man, Bugs, was actually nice and I wanted to be like "man, get out, you can do better!". The other guy was a total toolshed and was rude. I even whipped out a boob to nurse my son while they were here, thinking they would leave, nope. We happen to have a HVAC repair man coming the same day and never in my life have I been so happy to pay a repair man. Waste of my time and yours guys, guess when you over price your product by 1000% you only need one yes to be a success. Just say NO to power home remodeling. read more

OMG!!!! Color me happy. I have been wanting to redo these windows since we bought the house 20 years ago and finally did it!!! Now I can open my windows to let the brisk, clean and crisp fall air in. I can't wait to smell the fall bonfires!!!! Now I have screens!!! Now I can easily clean my windows!!! But best of all was using POWER for the install. The entire process from start to finish went smoothly. Hannah the Remodeling Consultant was knowledgeable and very patient and worked with us closely to make the right decisions in style l, etc. They are there every step of the way. Jason did a thorough pre-install inspection. They arrive on time. They are thorough and explain everything along the way. Brad and his team are crushing the install and it's quite the job with 22 windows! They use quality materials. The product has superior features. They give a LIFETIME warranty on product AND work! The list is long on why POWER is the way to go. NO BUYERS REMORSE HERE! POWER is fantastic! I am so glad Miles stopped me in Sams to share about POWER. read more

Excellent customer service from sales people to installers. Good communication, they kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. The windows look wonderful! We purchased windows for the back of our home. Power has been fantastic in terms of service and courtesy. All of our Power reps have been friendly, courteous and warm. I do like the ability to parcel out all the work and Power has made that easy. They have also given fantastic advice on how to keep our windows brand new and avoiding pitfalls within the remodeling experience. One of us has worked in the home construction / remodeling business and has been very happy with the level of expertise that was shown on the house. As with other reviews the sales pitch can be daunting so be ready to do some business before getting the full quote. Again, they do parcel out work so it may help for the long run to have a smaller piece purchased before committing to the large scale work. Power has made my home more energy efficient on terms that I can be proud to extol. read more

LONG VERSION: A few weeks ago a door to door rep came by and offered a free demo and quote (we have a few windows that definitely need replacing). I gave him my phone number and my name and he called someone at their office in Atlanta to schedule me a meeting. They were late (by an hour) to the first one so I canceled on them because my wife and I had plans that evening, I told them to get back to me in a day or so to reschedule... They are persistent, calling 2-3 times a day (I'm assuming using automated dialing systems) until I rescheduled. The sales rep shows up on as scheduled, he's polite and easy going. He goes through the entire presentation, which I thought was great. He did well and the product looked amazing... The only thing that bothered me was the high pressure sales tactic that was used: This is where we value our windows... 15+ (all roughly the same size, we have fairly large windows at 32" x 70"), the price was initially $1250+ a window (I'm being nice). Which I automatically rolled my eyes and was thinking, "heck no!" He then proceeds to say he can get the windows installed for about $1000+ a piece... I'm still unsure at this point, seeing as how I've never installed windows or even really looked at how much they cost, what they are worth, but I'm skeptical on that value. Lastly, he says... however... if you sign an agreement with me tonight before I leave, I can get you these windows for $850-$900 a piece... so my wife and I sign up. Mind you, he talked it up for a long time, the meeting lasted about 3 hours, maybe more... we fed him dinner he stayed so long. I will restate that he was an extremely nice guy, but what salesman isn't? Well... he talked about a great warranty (basically anything, my fault or acts of God) on the windows and he quickly mentioned (at some point during the sale) that we could cancel if wanted to... The next day I started reading the documents I signed (I know I should have read them first, but who does that these days... =p) I notice that the warranty doesn't cover near as much as he claimed and is subject to PHRG evaluation. I then noticed that there was a 3 day cancellation notice in the back of the packet that both my wife and I would have to sign if we wanted to cancel (and mail to to PA). I then start doing some research on windows... ultimately find out that great windows can be purchased for $230~ and amazing windows (larger than what we need and fancier) can be purchased for $380-420~). I called a buddy of mine, his Dad installs windows privately... his labor price was $150 for me (because I'm a friend) or $200 for others... That being said... I could have my windows installed well for $430 per window... so I would have over-payed by almost double if I decided to stay with PHRG... not only that... I even watched some "how to" videos on youtube to see how difficult window install was... I actually have all the tools to do it myself... (I probably won't do it myself though to be honest). Okay... this would be short story is getting a little long... I managed to cancel within the 3 day window, certified mail to the company... if I hadn't have canceled within the 3 day window they could have held me liable for 15% of the costs of the would be contract... that right there is ridiculous. I would receiving nothing from them and owe them $150 for every $1000 I agreed to!!!! Thank goodness I got out in time. On a separate note, all the reviews I've read about their product seem promising, but you will be overpaying for it, unless somehow you talk them down to about $600-$700 a window. I've also been told they do hold up to their "lifetime-limited warranty" but in all honesty they've only been around for the past 20 years. TLDR SHORT VERSION: Overpriced by nearly double of what you could get a local to do it for. Windows most likely aren't worth more than $380-450~ (depending on size and such) a piece... so all the other costs are labor and commission. Don't let them smooth talk you into a "high pressure" purchase. You only have 3 days from signing the contract to cancel, you CANNOT cancel by phone, must be by mail. If you wait until after the 3 days you owe them upwards of 15% of whatever contract you signed. Update: Cancellation went through without a hitch. I was called by PHRG to schedule a "courier" to come and finalize cancellation. I scheduled and they didn't show up. They called back to reschedule and I told them no, didn't see any reason for that. I explained that there was nothing in their paperwork saying I had to make myself available for a second cancellation signing. Eventually they agreed and said they would take care of it on their end. read more

We read the reviews and heard the demo would take time. While true the demo takes some time, about 2.5 hours, grab a drink and some popcorn. the information presented was detailed, throuogh, and Matt was entertaining. While they say no pressure to buy, the deal presented to purchase after demo was worth it to us. Make sure you are ready to buy, otherwise you will waste your time and theirs - we were not 100% ready (we were just starting to plan for the update) so we felt pressure but glad we made the decision to go. The pre-inspection was super easy. The install crew were very nice and personable. They allowed space for us to continue on with our day and interacted when needed. You would never know they were here - cleanup was great. Post inspection crew was charming and witty! It will take about an hour and a half as they try to sell you more products you need for your house. Windows have a great warranty that is transferable. read more

Excellent service before during and after replacement windows and doors installation. The sales and financing information was transparent and very consumer friendly. The Power team was fully engaged with the architectural review board and was instrumental in getting approval. The product is exceptional quality. The installation methodology is impressive as it does not require removing interior trim. The installer team was punctual, professional, courteous and highly skilled. Highly recommended. Power Home Remodeling was a great choice to replace the windows in my home. The sales rep did a great job of explaining everything. It did take a little long to get through, but so does a lot of things. Takes a long time to get through the airport, to get any kind of customer service from a Walmart , to get a response from an insurance company, it all is a time killer. The installation was great. They were professional and courteous. The price was right in the range of average for the windows that we chose. They did a great job. I don't believe that anyone gets a 5 out 5 ( maybe it is because I come from a work environment that does not give 5 out of 5 to anyone for any reason), but I believe they would come as close as it would get to getting 5 stars. read more

If these people knock on your door, DO NOT ANSWER! They go door to door and focus on older homes that have older people occupying them. The will harass you until you agree to order from them. This company is extremely over priced, as in 3 times what it should cost! They tried to charge my father $34,000 for 20 windows. That is insane!! My father was told he had 30 days to cancel is order and waited 2 weeks to cancel. However they continued with his order and then informed him that the cancelation period is only 3 days after signing the contract. They refused to cancel his order and told him that no matter what, they were dropping the windows off at his house and leaving them on his front yard and that he would have to pay, whether he wanted them or not. This company is a scam. Their windows may look decent, but they are in no way worth $34,000. The company also stated that if we followed through with "refusing delivery" of the windows and did not pay (since we DID cancel this order) they would get their "team of attorneys" involved. Absolutely the worst company to work with. Unless you have money to blow, I would not think twice about using Power Home Remodeling. I trust them about as far as I can throw them. read more

Beware: Power Home Remodeling seems to operate a bit like a timeshare sales pitch. On the positive side, the Power Home Remodeling agent was very courteous and arrived on time. On the negative side, please read below: We needed window repairs for some wood rot on two picture windows - one is minor the other more significant. My wife went to the Home Adviser website and was referred to Power Home Remodeling. She called them and spoke with two separate people that assured her that they do window repairs. So she scheduled an appointment. When the window man arrived on time, the first thing he stated is that Power Home Remodeling does not repair windows. They only install new windows - so we felt we were tricked. The man had a look at the two windows (one really only needs a bit of caulking and maybe painting on the sill). He spent the next hour pitching the company, his PVC windows, their energy efficiency, etc. We wanted a price. After a long presentation he quoted us a price of over $6000. Heck, our roof barely cost more. And we could change all the windows in our rental property for less than the cost of two windows Power Home Remodeling quoted us. What was a big "red flag" was when he said that we need to decide on the spot because tomorrow the price goes up. This is like a high pressure timeshare tactic. Also we have an oval shaped window that we wanted repaired or replaced. The window guy (i.e. sales rep) told us that Power Home Remodeling do not handle oval windows. I fear ladders so this is one reason I called a window repair service. I have fixed windows before and know that one of the windows can be repaired with a $3 tube of exterior caulk and some paint. I would gladly pay someone $300 to climb the ladder and fix it. however I am not willing to pay $3000+ for a grossly overpriced window to replace it even if I can save $10 in energy costs. At any rate it took us 2 hours to send the man on his way. The company called back next day but we did not answer. We will look elsewhere for a true window repair service. And if we need new windows, we will hire the same people that replaced the windows on our rental unit. read more

I was at BJ's and the sales guy offered a free home energy audit. Sure, why not? Then came the pressure to schedule today or tomorrow? I mentioned I live over an hour away, and they verified that yes, they service in my area. Appt for 3 days later, 10 am. Got the call at 8am to confirm, and verify that both "decision makers" would be home. Odd. Then they asked about how many windows I had. I reaffirmed I was mostly interested in the energy audit, and maybe wanted to replace one door with fogged glass. 10 minutes later, another call from them that they don't service in my area, and so sorry for the mistake. Classic bait and switch. I will be calling BJ's shortly, but after reading all the reviews here, so many horrible experiences with sales folks who refuse to leave after hours of pressure, and 4-5 times higher prices than others, I am glad I got dropped! read more

Love the windows. Such an improvement and much better view. Great product and service and I am sure that we will use their service again.

What are they hiding? Sales reps showed up at my door (on time) and I explained that I was in the process of getting multiple quotes for our window replacement project - but I specifically was not interested in a 3 hour power point presentation and my husband and I were planning to go to lunch in an hour. After an hour and 15 min of power point presentations, window measurements (we only have 11 and some are the same size, so this portion only took about 15 min), they told me it would be at least another 45 min of power point presentations before they could get to the quote (so figure an hour+). We asked if they could run the numbers and send the quote later from their office via email. They said no. Told them we'd have to reschedule. They called me back and again, asked when my husband and I (apparently, I am not capable of making decisions on behalf of my household without the approval of my husband) could schedule time to sit down to do their "presentation" - with all due respect, we are not interested in a presentation about the history of your company, that you operate out of multiple states, or that "water is not supposed to be on the inside of my windows", they already have our measurements, can they please send me the quote? They refused since they have a "proven business model" and it wouldn't "be fair for the sales reps". Well good luck with NOT getting our business. Meanwhile, I have two other groups coming out to measure who have promised not to waste my time with power point presentations (or demand that my husband be present). Don't waste your time with this group who also appears to have many "fake" Google reviews by promising incentives to people who leave positive reviews. read more

Pulled into my driveway to see the sales girl at my front door. She was extremely pushy, I tried to tell her multiple times I wasn't interested. Kept pushing me to have an estimate done today, tomorrow night, right now. Asking what time was best, when would I be home, when would my wife be home, what time do we work, what time do we leave, what time we get home from work. On and on and on. I gave her my info in hopes that it would make her go away, it didn't. And now after reading these reviews I wish I didn't give her my info. She was relentless. She wanted me to sign something that she jotted all my info down on and I refused. Finally had to walk away from her to get her to leave. Maybe you should find a different way to do business "Power". Zero stars if I could. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They spoke with my husband yesterday about coming out to give us an estimate. They have spoke with my husband today about coming out to give an estimate. I will not be letting them come by my house and give us an estimate. Horrible customer service. read more

Very aggressive sales tactics. At first the salesman was courteous and friendly and gave a great presentation of the product. We agreed to the meeting because we had been told we would be left with a free estimate. But he quoted us a very high price and then tried to make us sign up on the spot in order to get "discounts" to bring the price down some (which was still way higher than we expected). All the psychological tactics were just uncalled for. I'm not even sure the pictures that he took in our attic were even from our house or just something to make the job seem more urgent! He told us our roof was the worst he had EVER seen and pressured us to sign up on the spot. 3 hours later, he kept pressuring us and when we insisted we just could not make a decision in anything less than 24 hours, he became angry and actually raised his voice at us. No roof is worth being yelled at by a salesman. He even told us about "financing" that would end up costing an absolute huge amount, but then how they had "better" financing. He was shocked when my husband could do the math in his head that the first one would add up to over $100K! He ended up angrily cancelling the offer of any discounts as he left. read more

Making choices to invest in remodeling your home is a big decision and trusting a company can feel like a gamble, right? Well, stop worrying. Power Home Remodeling Group is absolutely incredible to work with. From the first person we met from Power HRG the day he knocked on our door asking us if we were interested is an estimate for new windows, to the last person who came to complete the inspection of the quality of the job, we were impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, and expertise of everyone we dealt with. Communication with Power HRG was never a problem. They kept us on top of the process and kept their word with everything they told us. The quality of the work and the products (new windows and new external doors) are the best of any we considered. The installation was completed in a timely manner and when promised. The workers cleaned up everything, even washing the windows after they were finished, and making sure our home was in the condition they found it. These windows are made specifically to fit your home so you get your money's worth, and the styles are outstanding. Look no further for your home improvement needs. You will NOT be disappointed with the service, communication, product quality, or management of this company. I promise you. UPDATE: We used Power Home Remodeling Group for our new windows, doors, and today we got our new gutters. Some of the reviews on YELP criticize the selling technique of this company. We did not experience anything that bothered us in their sales pitch because we were ready to replace our windows and wanted to learn everything we could about their product. Yes, it took quite awhile, but there was a lot of information that was given to us about these high quality windows and doors, especially. A year ago we had made an appointment for them to give us an estimate but cancelled it because we just weren't ready to upgrade at that time. We were never bothered again. When the young man came around this year we were ready to consider getting new windows so welcomed their commitment to telling us about their products. So let's talk about the quality of service once you've decided to use Power HRG - it's great. The communication was excellent from all levels, local and from the main office in Chester, PA. The workers arrived on time (even a half day early after calling to see if it was satisfactory with us to begin the work early and finish early the following day), were polite, industrious, and meticulous. I was amazed that there was absolutely nothing to clean up inside or outside the house (but especially inside!) after the doors and windows were installed. They vacuumed, moved my furniture back in place for me, washed the windows inside and out, and made sure everything was completed before leaving. A follow-up visit/inspection was made to ensure all was done properly and that we were satisfied. We love our new doors and windows. I got a garden window for my kitchen and it's beautiful. Our back door has the internal blinds, and I love the fact that I can close them completely or pull them up to have a complete view outside when I want to. The doors are secure and the windows look great. The gutters are gutters - I mean, how exciting are gutters? But they do look great and we are pleased with the results. The bottom line: If you don't want to get new windows, doors, roofing, gutters, or siding yet, just politely tell them you aren't interested and close the door. End of sentence, end of verse. If you ARE interested, know that they will take the time to show you their product from beginning to end to convince you that this is a fine product and one of the best, if not THE BEST, that we saw. No buyer's regret here, by any means. read more
