So over power. Their slidding glass door is junk. I literally have to vacuum out my door track due to the metal shavings it had accumulated from it scraping and my door is very hard to open. Already had them out to fix it once and now I'm waiting for them to call back to fix it again. Also the built in blinds get stuck and are crooked every other time I use them. This is definitely not consistent with the price I paid for the door and if I could I would get my money back and have another company come install a new one. I plan on making a complaint with the BBB asap!!! Run from these people. read more

This place is first rate all the way. The first visit is a bit long....but I am assured that they are aware of this and working on condensing it. We had our sad, sad windows replaced and could not be more pleased with everything. Got a call before the appointment to make sure we were ready, got a call the day of, from the Project Manager, to ensure the arrival time. The crew arrived on time and were very professional, answered all of our questions, and spoke English. A quality assurance guy came by later (when it was convenient for us) and made sure we were pleased. Which we were. I highly, highly recommend this company. Seriously, we have been shafted a lot. The quality of the windows was really kinda unbelievable. We noticed a difference in just a couple of days. These guys stand behind their products and just do a great, great job. read more

I am not sure the standard quote for a new roof is 20,000$ but OK! I appreciate the overall inspection but the time it took and the inflated pricing was almost unbelievable! 20,000$ for 13 windows and a sliding door and 20 plus thousand for a roof? For my 'discounted' total of 42,957$ for both. All for a low monthly payment of over 1,000$ per month until I die I am sure. I am not sure who this company is servicing but there is really no way any working person can afford that. I must look like boo boo the fool. I hate that I have to write this review, the salesman was kind and professional and knowledgeable but this is a prime example of taking advantage of the less advantaged. read more

Excellent experience from beginning to end. I had new roof as well as new windows and doors. All are very high quality and have lifetime warranty that is transferable. While you can get products cheaper, you will not get the same quality and warranty. All of the workers were very knowledgeable, respectful and were hard workers. One major plus, if anything needs repair or replacement it is free to include labor. We were assigned a project manager and even had quality control inspect the installation. I highly recommend Power Home Remodeling Group. read more

Power home remodelers did a fantastic job with our windows. They arrived on time, left after cleaning up and the best part was no payment was due until the job was done. I would highly recommend them read more

Thought previously they were great, but after they put up our gutters we still found nails and stuff in our yard, then weren't informed they no longer dealt with Wells Fargo who we used to finance before with them, until after the job was done! Will not use them again! read more

We recently had six windows installed in our house and had an fabulous experience with power home remodeling. The customer service is great - we were kept informed every step of the way - from the initial visit, measurement, final install, and quality check. One key reason we decided to go with power because the warranty is excellent - both parts and labor are covered lifetime. Highly recommend. read more

A representative from Power Home Remodeling came to our house to give us a free quote. Someone in our neighborhood was using them for a remodel. We are new homeowners and we know our house needs some updates. We thought this would be a good chance to get an idea of what's ahead of us. We made that clear in the beginning of the sales pitch. Jump ahead three and a half hours later and he is still in my house. My husband and I are both working from home today. We also made that clear by constantly checking our email throughout his pitch. I finally had to get up and walk away because my phone was going off so much. Again, three and half hours later we've asked for the quote and told him we will consider it. It is NOT that we don't think their products and services will be up to standard, but this man will not take no for an answer. My husband has expressed that he really needs to get back to work but the man keeps trying to tell us more about financing and the products. I gave them two stars simply because their sales pitch is terrible. They CANNOT enter a home and take this much time out of a working families day. I understand you want to cover all the areas where your company is better than the next. (Trust me... we heard ALL of them.) If you are offering a free quote to neighbors, please be upfront about the time you will be there. And to top it all off, he is STILL here. read more

Power showed up to look at my windows and when the kid got out of his BMW wearing a suite and tie i knew i was in trouble. John was a slick talking sales person who knew almost nothing about home remodeling. He was nothing more than a 100% commission door to door sales guy. After looking at one window John accessed that my siding ( installed two years ago by my Brother) needed replacing and my roof was going to need work. After 20 mins of smok and mirrors, i told him he was a nice kid and should try selling cars or go back to school. If you want a cooperate machine to over charge you and send under quallified people to your home call Power other wise warn your family and friends to stay far away from these guys. read more

Yelp, please allow for no stars!!!! I caved and had half of my windows replaced BY PHRG. The job itself was done professionally by subcontractors. HOWEVER, the high pressure sales tactics left such a sour taste in my mouth that I cannot have this company finish my windows. They phone relentlessly and "drop by" because they are "in the neighborhood" wanting to finish the job. The straw that broke the camel's back is that they refused to deal with me directly without my husband present!!!!! SEXIST! I'm fully capable of making a decision on my own without having my husband vouch for my intellect or giving me permission to spend our money. DISGUSTING! I will replace the windows myself before I go back to PHRG. read more

Power HRG worked with me from beginning to end. Dan in Sales was friendly and knowledgable with my questions. Although there were several things I'd like to have done with house, I finally decided on replacing my windows along the front of my home. On delivery day, James and David were prompt and got busy with the work. They were quick, efficient and friendly. My experience with everyone who contacted me has been very good. When I'm ready for he other projects I'd like to have done with the house, I will call on Power HRG. read more

Echoing what others have said about the pushy tactics. I accidentally opened the door yesterday thinking it was one of my kid's friends. Guy made it seem like a quick thing but even setting up the appointment took half an hour. I told him I'm busy and have people coming the next day and he promised the guy would be only talking to us a little while and could pop an estimate in our mail box. Figured what was the harm in that. A little while, lol. The guy comes the next day and took nearly 4 hours at our house. Would. Not. Leave. Repeated the same pitch over and over and now reading these reviews I'm afraid they will be following up and harassing me to buy from them. Sigh. If you're reading this, Power, these kind of tactics make a person lose all trust and never want to do business with you. read more

This company called me again, for the 5th day in a row. This morning at 8:45 after several requests for them to stop. last night they called at 7:30. PHR, do yourself a favor.... if it isn't business hours, or probably when people are having dinner with their family, don't call. I now have you in my phone saved under contacts as "Roof and Window assholes" but will probably be blocking you today once I ask my tween how this phone works. About your estimate and in-home visit I was unfortunate enough to suffer through last month; shockingly overpriced. Your sales person, who was probably barely 18 years old, stood there and tried to tell me things about construction that I'm very familiar with..I didn't tell him I was in the building trade for 25 years...everything he told me was a total crock. Killed any chance of doing work for me. Then he asks me about my family, what they do, where they work, how many kids I have....I wasn't in the mood, nor did I have the time. I wasn't going to give some stranger my life story...I'm sure he was just trying "to get under my skin and be endearing" but people like me are busy, I don't have time for wasteful sales visits and nonsense. The sales guy tells me my "neighbors are having their windows replaced by them." I ask which neighbors...I know everyone and nobody had new windows done...he changed the subject quickly. I don't like liars..not even white lies. Sorry. Insulting to my intelligence...and again, unnecessary banter I have no time for. Then, he says "you probably hear this a lot but your daughter is very beautiful, how old is she?" WTF? I tell him she's a child and 14 and to focus on giving me the estimate for the work. This guy never so much as phased or embarrassed by himself or my reactions. Totally clueless. But at this stage I was DONE. He starts to show me a video on his ipad.....but...I stopped him...I literally turned away and started playing Candy Crush on my phone so he would realize I was done with him..I turned up the volume as high as I could....He just sat there in my kitchen, staring over into my living room, watching my 13 year old daughter doing her homework. Creepy........My wife then left the room.....he couldn't take a hint that I wanted him to give me the ESTIMATE and get out of my house quickly. Estimates I had gotten for my roof from 5 reputable and highly regarded roofing contractors: averaged $9,500 for the complete entire job. My house is only 1200 Sq Ft. He never got on my roof and I never saw him measure anything....He fiddled around in his ipad putting in bogus numbers..or maybe they have a huge standard estimate to cover twice the real costs? I don't know what they do, and I don't care anymore. PHR estimate: $25,000.00 WTF????!!!!! I started laughing. You know what the young man said? "Well, you're going to get a crappy roofing job that will fall off in a year or two or leak and cause mold and your kids could get breathing problems or die from your decision to go "cheap". At this point, my wife, who was listening from the other room came back and asked him in a nice way to leave our house! You would think that would be the end of it.... oh no.....he sat there and started talking about our windows being old and "crap". It was then that I said the "estimate" was done and said to leave my property. ridiculous. By the way, the roof has now been replaced by Alatoona Remodeling....they did a fantastic job..I watched them do the job start to finish and it far exceeded the workmanship and quality of materials used by others...and cost me way less than HALF your quote. read more

I'd give these guys less than 1 star simply based on their bullying sales tactics. The sales representatives go door-to-door (neighborhoods with a no solicitation policy are not exempt) looking to schedule an appointment to give you an estimate. Fair warning; initial scheduling and sales pitch can take 30+ minutes, easy. Once they come back to give you the estimate and are inside your home, your day is shot. These guys will spend ALL DAY going over options you don't need and they WILL NOT take no for an answer. I must have said "I'm not interested" a dozen times over the span of 3 hours before I finally had to tell the guy to get out of my house in an authoritative tone. When he did finally leave, he was sure to provide his card with a $10K+ quote to fix my 3 bay windows. Since then, they've been back 3 times, one of which happened to be after 9 PM on a weekday. read more

Never give these people your contact info or sit thru their sales pitch. Their quote was high and they never, never never stop calling you, regardless of how many times you ask them to stop. read more

This was by far the worst company to deal with out of all the ones I had interviewed for the job. The salesman was late, full of BS, and wanted to charge me 2-3 times more than other companies. I ended up going with another company that was courteous, efficient, and a lot cheaper and still ended up with some really nice windows. Please do yourself a favor and don't deal with them unless you've got a lot of money to burn and wants to listen to a lot of BS. read more

Just used Power to replace all of my upstairs windows. Their people and products are top notch, all the way from the sales process to the install. They even have QA professionals that come out to do a final clear for the project. I recommended them 100% and will absolutely use them again. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. The sales person arrived at 7:30 pm, we tried to be polite but by 11pm, I was done. They quoted a guaranteed price of 3800.00 for one window. The next day home depot quoted me 1500.00 for same window. Very high pressure sales tactics. At one point I asked him if something bad was going to happen to him if he didn't make the sale...lose his job, wife going to leave him.....terrible company read more

Ditto on the other reviews regarding disgustingly patronizing long winded scripted aggressive sales pitch. Should have known when he initial door to door sales pitch ended with a call asking about credit even before anyone reviewed our roof. Yet we set up an estimate anyway. Big mistake! These folks are scam artists. Even after informing the 6 th representative of this company that my husband had been a contractor and we did not, nor did not want a lesson in the lifecycle of a roof just an estimate the kid could not go off script. Then practically called me a liar. Thought I was going to have to restrain my husband, who is up front and mild mannered. I could write a novel on how long It took to get them out of our house. And then watched then as they sat outside our home for a good 25 minutes after being kicked out. If they come to your door, don't answer! read more

Thhe entire install process was great! Techs were very professional and cleaned up well! Positive experience !

The whole of my remodeling experience with Power Home Remodeling Group has been easy, convenient and very professional. They finished my roof a few weeks ago and their work is great. I had constant leaks during even the slightest rain; since Power finished, it has rained a dozen times without any signs of water leaking in. I have already arranged for them to replace some windows in my home, and I will surely contact them for any future remodeling work. I think the overall best aspects of my experience with Power are their professionalism and the worry free warranties that they offer. Thank you!! read more

Spoke with a young man in BJs Wholesale. He took my information and said they would come out to give an estimate, but my wife needed to be there. I told him that was virtually impossible based on our work schedules and my son's sporting events. On the follow up call I explained (after reading reviews of the company) that I am no longer interested. To date I have received at least 1 call a week for the past four weeks asking me if I am still interested. In reading the replies from the company, they state that because they visit hundreds of homes each day they are able to offer a discount for signing up as the quote is given, but if they visit hundreds of homes each day, couldn't they lump you into the next group of discounted projects if you signed on another day??? If your products are actually superior, let the literature the sale groups pass along stress that fact and stop with the pressure tactics. We had pinnacle replace our windows and the quote for 30+ windows took about 45 minutes (with only one of us present) and the measurements were done very quickly as well. Their crew was in and out in one day. No pressure, no stress and no hard selling. It was a great experience. PHR should take notice. read more

We got to work with Power on installing new gutters for our new house. Not only was each step very well communicated, but their work was excellent. They were done quickly, and ensured we were satisfied. Getting the work done right is really important to us, and we plan on using them in the future for more projects on our house. read more

The sales team was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, and it seemed like a good product. That was like 20 minutes into the sales call. Like others have said, I was totally turned off by the sales team over-staying their welcome and bullying us to make the sale. Good businesses allow people time to process information before making a huge investment. Major bullying tactics from this one. The sales team also seemed oblivious to subtle (and not so subtle) cues. After an hour, we had company stop by and they didn't seem to care or adapt their approach, right after emphasizing their customer-focus. Good grief, they stayed for 2.5 hours, and only left after I was forced to be rude and ask them to leave (again, after many polite attempts to let them know we'd follow up with them). read more

An estimator from this company came to assess my windows. He drove the tip of his pen through the wood of my picture window frame in the front of my house. The company scheduled the warranty department to come fix it twice and missed both appointments. read more

If these guys come to your door slam it right away! They are the stereotype of bad sales people who come on way too strong and won't stop bothering you. I made the mistake of giving them my number because I was seriously thinking about getting new windows, then I heard from others about how annoying they were. Now they won't stop calling me. I ask them to stop over and over again and they won't go away. read more

We were amazed with the entire process. We knew exactly when each step was going to happen, and Power showed up when they said they would. They were quick and clean, and we are now experiencing a much warmer family room than we have in the past. It was excellent quality, and we haven't had any problems since installation - I'd like to recognize the installers for the great job they did. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with Power Home Remodeling Group. read more

They installed new windows and did a great job. Very responsive and responsible! Very happy with all of their work. They examined the work before they installed it and then came back to inspect it after they were done! I would give them 5 stars! read more

Power Home Remodeling is an effective, energy-efficient, and work-efficient company. They stopped by with their door marketing offering a free home inspection for your doors, siding, roof, and windows. I loved them! Sales pitch was a little long, but with a large investment I want to make sure I get all the information about each company to compare evenly. In order to get an accurate cost you need to invest time to properly measure each window (which in our case was 29). So our sales pitch was about 3 hrs. When we did decide to go with Power (no one could beat their warrantee OR quality) the next step is a walk through to ensure all measurements were taken, verify color choices (both widow and sash - pardon if I'm miss labeling), and set a date. 3 days prior to install a confirmation call was made. On install day, the project manager called to verify who was assigned to our job and when they are arriving. ON TIME. Installer came to the door introduced himself and told me the 3 other installers would be along shortly and he was just going to start unloading the windows. Job was started 30 minutes later. During install the guys were courteous, kind and polite. Made sure I was comfortable with coming in and out of the home, etc. I was able run a couple of errands, pick up the kids from school, etc. After install comes the project manager. This is where it goes above and beyond for us. Nit picking and inspecting each and EVERY window inside and out. Made a couple of small caulking touch ups. He also noticed one more small touch up I, or anyone else would've never noticed, on one of the larger windows. So there will be someone coming out to touch it up on the outside. My point is... someone to make it 100%. I LOVE POWER! read more

These guys keep making unsolicited calls to me about replacing my windows even after asking them not to.

Today we had nine of our single pane windows replaced with double pane windows from Power. They look fantastic and we're looking forward to enjoying improved power bills and the ability to easily clean the windows. Installation team was very professional and the warranty is for the life of the home. read more

I had a very similar experience to another reviewer (Lisa J.). Theses people go door to door in neighborhoods without identification or a solicitor badge. Subtle at first, until you feign interest. They would not meet with me (THE homeowner) unless my spouse was there - HUGE RED FLAG. I cancelled the meeting and any all future contact....so I thought. They call every day, multiple times per day with an automated message or hang up. I finally navigated through the automated menu and got to a VERY RUDE representative. He was hostile. I told him I was on the DO NOT CALL list and needed to be removed - he continued to be argumentative. I have now reported them to the BBB and found them to have 171 complaints THIS YEAR! DO NOT do business with these people - VERY shady! read more

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! We had the unfortunate opportunity to spend 5 hours with a sales representative in our home who gave us relentless high pressure sales and tried to open up a credit situation when we were intending to pay cash. I believe this company takes advantage of people and wears them down with high pressure sales tactics. The salesman wouldn't leave -- we had to actually leave the room, my husband was working in another room on a ladder and I was working in the garage and only then did he leave and that was after he sat with me in the garage constantly berating me with questions about me why I was uncomfortable with his 'right now only' tactics -- he then left. It was a terrible experience and thankfully we did not commit to their overpriced windows. Also -- They brag about at better business bureau A+ rating but have 184 complaints in the past 3 years -- compare that to Pella who has less than 10 since the past 3 years. Do not let them into your home, do not commit to business with them until you have done the research. Their quote for 9 windows was a whopping $9,000!!! We had a previous quote of the same house and same windows at $4,900 -- DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME, they will not leave. On top of that - we have started to receive non-stop telephone calls from them. Look on the BBB.org site and review other complaints to confirm this -- don't do it! read more

I would highly recommend this company to anyone because the quality is excellent and the craftsmanship is excellent. Everything was done very efficiently and in a timely manner. They also clean up very well after themselves and you really don't even know that they were there. We were thinking about buying a new house several different times, but after having this done we feel like we are coming home to a new house each time, which is a great feeling. read more

Installers are finishing up and everything looks great. Sales, installers are personable, professional. Windows are really nice and have a lifetime warranty. Much better quality than the old ones they're replacing. Price was good, too. My only issue was the sales dog & pony show went on wayyyy too long (2.5 hours). Otherwise, everything else was great! read more
