Two were "Big Box Stores," and the third was The Window Source. The Window Source estimate was considerably lower and the window quality and warranty was equal to or better than the Big Box Stores. The salesman Adrian Salazar called me the morning of the appointment to make sure I was still wanting him to come out, which I always appreciate a heads-up. And of course I was, I had lots of bugs coming in through the old original windows in my house I had recently moved into. Adrian was very personable, and full of information that I was seeking, in order to make sure all my needs were met. He quickly measured and gave me an estimate (at my urging because of those bugs!) I didn't even need to think about it, the product looked amazing, and with SO many choices. I loved the aluminum "capping" in a choice of colors for the exterior, with the interior being nice and white. I might point out that I got the 9000 series because the glass area size is greater, with a thinner vinyl frame, and I want all the glass I can get for that natural light! Adrian warned me that the email with the timeframe would be way out in the future, but it wouldn't really be that long. To say the least, when I got a phone call from Eric Rice the Project Manager saying my windows were ready, I was in shock! It had only been 25 days since that appointment with Adrian! And better yet, Eric asked if I could have them come the next day "or is that too short of notice?", my answer was a resounding not too short of notice, but yes, please. I might add that Eric also answered my myriad of questions because I wanted to make sure I had the house completely ready to get those windows installed. The next morning Marcelo and his crew started right away and knocked it out, working the entire day, even through the rain. And the results are wonderful. I absolutely love the aluminum capping which they form to the exact profile of your window trim, complete with mitered corners. They also use matching colored caulk, so that the gorgeous trim is seamless. Another great thing about these windows is the locking mechanisms on them, since they are low-profile and have a smooth feel to them. These 9000 series windows also have super smooth operating lifts in the sides, so they're easy to raise and lower both sashes and they also both tilt-in for cleaning. I only have wonderful things to say about this company and have never had such a positive experience with any type of home repair or renovation company.

I reported the problem to the owner the day after they were installed. He was less than helpful on the phone but agreed to come out one evening and see them. I did forward pictures to him. He came a week after they were installed, looked at them and told me I was the first person that ever had this problem. He also said that he would not tell me what the manufacturers said when he called them, no explanation. He told me that if I was unhappy with the way the manufacturer had to follow federal guidelines, I should call my congressman. He told me I should have asked the salesman if I could see out the windows at night. (???) It is evident he had no intentions of offering any explanations, support, guidance, compensation and let me know I was "out of luck." I will be contacting Window World Corporate as well. DO NOT buy from them. Pictures were taken with my cell phone with no filters or color correction. And I am out of luck and need to learn to deal with this?

I'd give one star, but the people that answer the phone when you initially call are very friendly…read more I tried for two months to get an estimate from this company for a simple window install in my home. I sent 5 emails with pictures of the window and other info to Hope Little at Quality Glass plus a series of phone calls over 2 months. I even called back to the front office 6 weeks into this to ask if the residential installer was a subcontractor that they outsource too...which it is not. I did finally get a time set up for an estimate, but City Glass came out the day before and actually installed the window the next day an hour before the estimate appointment with Quality Glass (which again took 2 months and a lot of work on my part to set-up). I don't think Quality Glass is interested in doing any installs that they don't also sell you the glass for. My window was provided by Ply Gem as a warranty defect so I just needed a capable installer. They will also tell you repeatedly that should they do the install it is at your own risk and they will not pay for the glass if they break it. Which sounds like a blank check for negligence on their part. Also Hope Little, the person you'll deal with for residential installs has a demeanor, while perhaps professional could be described as gruff at best. My experience with City Glass was almost 100% opposite to this and I would strongly recommend that you look to them for your local glass needs.

First he power washed off all the algae and mold, let it dry, repaired broken parts and then put two coats of Sherwin Williams stain on both sides of the fence.
