Salesman "missed" things in the quote that were later ironed out and included but it took some small pushback from me, and I am not sure every customer would have done the same. Work took a little longer than promised but the guys were generally good and kept the area around their work clean and picked up. Siding crew was very good and the walk through after their work required just a minor touch up or two. The paint crew was not as good, and they had to come back twice to finish the work as discussed. The key is having a good project manager, and I was fortunate with James. He stayed on top of things, responded within 24 hours and had both crews come back to finish the work properly. He even noticed things I would have missed. We did choose the interest free financing, and it has been a little confusing to understand their billing and statements though a call did clear that up. I would recommend Pacific, but I would make sure you are diligent about the quote process and make sure you establish a good relationship with the project manager.

I talked to several companies about this job (initially, we weren't sure if we were going to go back with real cedar that was originally on our house or the Nichiha cedar shake) that Russ recommended. I had many questions, and he answered all of them! His crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. My wife and I were initially nervous about how the shake siding would look compared to the real cedar we had before. But as you can see in the pictures, it turned out wonderfully, even better than we expected. Russ immediately followed up to ensure I was satisfied after the job was done. This is our second time using Russ. He also replaced the siding on two of our chimneys a few years ago and did a great job with that as well. I had other estimates but Ryan provided a fair estimate and it was similar to another I had. I enjoyed his enthusiasm about concrete and I felt like I was learning something at the same time. And the crew, they were respectful, kind, easy to talk to and could answer questions as well. I was most surprised to see how hard they all worked. The digging never ended and they never showed signs of complaining. These guys were the hardest working people I had ever seen. On top of this, they did a beautiful job and most of all, pitched and leveled the concrete so all the water ran away from the house. They went over and beyond when they waterproofed the 2 sides of the foundation walls and added french drains and downspout drains to take the water from the roof rain gutters and out to the back yard. This was extra in cost and I was more than happy to pay them more. The job was well done and the water no longer enters the lower floor. I am happy to receive calls and give an exceptional referral for Ryan's work and work ethic. People and companies that provide this superior service deserve great success and I am happy to fuel that for them any way I can.
