Power window installed and wiring not left to middle of window framing.
Robert H.

I contracted with Power Home Remodeling to install Vinyl windows in my home. I am satisfied with the Pella windows but I am not at all happy with the installation crew or Power. The job was to replace my wood windows with the Pella vinyl windows. (1) When install crew arrived I did a walk through with them and pointed out my wiring for my security system that needed to be left exposed and where to leave the wiring. Not only did they not leave wires where I had directed them but they left very little wires exposed. There was ample enough wire to be left but that didn't happen. (2) I knew I had some water damage to one of my windows and payed extra for the window framing repair. The window installers tried to install new window without repairing water damage. I was observing them and stopped them and had them to make the repair I had payed extra for. Also there was a communication issue with install crews. I would not recommend Windows installed by Power.

I had 7 new windows put in my kitchen. They are very thorough. One person did the initial measurements (Kirsten) who spent 2 hours going over window styles and features, another person came prior to the windows being made to measure a second time for accuracy. Alex and Yuri were the installers once the windows were made. They were very kind, efficient and cleaned up behind them. They also had tips about my new windows which also was great. Finally, Mike came by at the end of the job for QC and to make sure I knew about the lifetime warranty etc. So far, I've been very happy with my new kitchen look and will definitely use them as I upgrade other parts of my house.

The whole process to get our hurricane impact windows and gutters installed was fast, professional, and affordable. They went above and beyond in giving recommendations for other quality contractors for another home remodeling project that didn't fall under the services they sell, but they still helped us with guidance and recommendations for free. Will purchase again for future projects.

Damage from their dumpster

Work was good but the customer service is horrible! Once they got our money we couldn't get in touch with anyone. They left their stuff in our driveway a week after they were finished. Also when the dumpster was taken away they left 2 big scratches in our driveway. We have not heard from anyone after letting them know. All I get is damage control responses on my reviews VP Brantley Friend what kind of business are you running over there?

Power Home Remodeling came out on Friday, June 5th, 2024, to replace four (4) old windows in our home. Our installers were Mikail and Pedro and they were fantastic!! They arrived on-time to the appointment and were incredibly professional. They got right to work after the arrived and were easily able to take out and replace our own damaged windows. They were both incredibly efficient and had the project completed in 3 hours. The cleaned up their work, put in new sighting, and cleaned the windows before they left. Absolutely love the work they did and the windows look great!! Plus, both of the guys were very attractive. ;) Mike was our Quality Assurance Manager and he came out to inspect all of the work and talk with us on Monday, June 8th, 2024. Mike was also incredible friendly, professional, and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend Power Home Remodeling if you have any home repairs or remodeling done! They offer competitive pricing, friendly and fast service, and exceptional quality.

Dirty $10,000 Window

I want to let Power Home Remodeling know how dissatisfied I am with their service. PHR team is GREAT with getting the sales, making sure customers keep their appointments and the number of phone calls they make to you TO GET THE SALE. After they complete the install, they are through. What about a call to see if a customer is satisfied with their install? What about a call to see if was to their satisfaction. None of those things happen. I know PHR is big on reviews so I want to make sure that I give one on every platform. When they installed my over$20,000 windows, the windows were left dirty, chips of glass was left on the floor and the trim around my custom window made the window look like it was out of shape (and still does). I called them to express my dissatisfaction and they sent the guys out to correct everything (except my custom window), they said that was the best they could do. Well, it's my fault for using them again to install my over $20,000 doors. When the guy came by on my complaint about the windows, he saw that I express interest in doors and again that great sales pitch happened (and I loved the doors). Well, again they installed the items and you should see how they left them. Wow! I did bring it to the installer attentions about their framing being smaller than the one that was up there. He stated they didn't have anything to go around it. Wait, you have an entire remolding department, why don't you have some to fix it. You tell me, my doors are suppose to look worst than when you came? I called once again (because as mentioned before, they call to see if you are satisfied). Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me for hiring you again.

My husband and I had recently discussed replacing our upper windows and decided to move forward after Joey came to our house. Call it "right place, right time". Our questions were answered clearly and were provided with different options that worked for us. For 8 upper windows, the pricing was fair and financing was available. Although our installation window was pushed back a couple times, when the team came, they removed the old and installed the new windows efficiently. Power Home Remodeling stands by over-communicating which we appreciate; however, when we missed calls, we were redirected multiple times or voicemails were nondescript. Overall, we were satisfied with the service and will certainly be returning customers.

Leaks from shoddy window installations.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!

Completely seamless for us and by far our easiest home renovation project. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct Of Atlanta.

We called the major window companies for quotes and were shocked by the super-high prices and the pushiness of some sales reps. One rep for a company that advertises on the radio only left my house when I told her she was officially trespassing and that I would call the cops! Enter Windows From Warriors. We found them on Nextdoor, and they had decent reviews. We went to Yelp, read through the reviews, and decided to give them a chance. Their quote was less than half of the lowest price we got from the more prominent companies. I also liked that they have a brick-and-mortar building, are local and family-owned, and were veterans building a business. Jim came out, measured our windows and doors, and we received a quote in less than a week. We agreed to the price, and when project day started, they arrived on time and quickly got to work. Our home took two full days to complete, but we also replaced our three entry doors. Their installers moved quickly, cleaned up wherever they worked, and even reconnected our door contact alarms. They installed the new locksets we had purchased as well. We feel strongly that the expense is truly worth it and increases our home value if/when we sell. I highly recommend Windows From Warriors to update your home. The new windows alone dampen road noise, look great from the street, and make our house look five years old or less!

Only way he would come down if I did lot of out pocket cash. Average price if patio doors installation is 2K-6K, yet he called them a platinum company doesn't do stuff close to that. We'll I don't have platinum monies to spend 12K-18k on patio door is ridiculous. I was told to call 800 back and got the same runaround when I called earlier in the. Jonathan (owner), Kevin (salesman), Jeff (installation foreman), Clint (QA/project mgr), and Christine (accounting) were responsive, timely, and thorough in their explanation and clarification of all charges, transactions, and day-of processes. We got an estimate for 18 window INFINITY replacements (upgrade from 1970s construction) including two large picture windows, in early April 2020, with installation on May 26, 2020. After a wonderful day-of installation experience, we moved forward with french door MAX CRAFT replacements for the singular front door; installation occurred on July 24, 2020. The front door had some irregularities in the sealed glass panes and required entirely new door replacements after the initial framing was installed. The QA/PM (Clint) personally oversaw the replacement process to find the best door panels with the least glass imperfections, especially knowing that we will (have) look out new front doors regularly! NGRW was wonderful in working with us to secure project funding (Synchrony), include credit card deposits, and augment final settlement with cash funds. Once you buy even one window with them, you are locked into pricing for life! The manufacture of these fiberglass windows avoids the warping with vinyl and rotting with wood; the insulation presents a new level of sound insulation (we live on a busy through street) and better climate control in summer (our upstairs HVAC died at the end of the cooling season) and winter. We are now moving on with window replacements at the back of the house, along with a new backdoor of a more-simple design. We refer Jonathan and his team to anyone/everyone looking for window--or door--replacements, and we are happy to be included in their business family for the life of our home ownership.

Also, during the month of February we also switched from an electric stove to a gas stove so that added to our gas usage and we still saved $75 the very first month. Our electric bill was also a good bit lower. It will be interesting to see our electricity savings this summer when the a/c is on. When you compare the 4.034 therms per day prior to the new windows being installed to 1.838 therms per day after, you can see that we are now using less than half the gas therms, even with now cooking with gas instead of electric. Even with this savings, it will still take many years to recoup the cost of the window purchase BUT the comfort of not having a drafty house is also a huge benefit to my family. The other thing that we have noticed is that the road noise is significantly less. We live on a four lane divided highway with lots of traffic. Other than the loudest mufflers and big trucks we no longer hear the majority of the traffic unless the roads are wet and even then it is subdued from the previous level with single pane windows. But the second time, I'm giving them a 3 star. I don't have much to say about the first experience since I thought that they did a great job that I hired them for the second job. However, the second job was riddled with issues and heartache. I shopped for quotes from different companies and I awarded the job to Mark and his team. The reason I award the job to Mark is not due to the price but due to the thoughtful and experienced comments he made and when he addressed my questions. I thought that this guy was someone who care and was not in the job just for the money. However, Mark is not the one that actually does the door install. He had a different team install the door and that would be fine as long as there were no issues with the door install. But there were issues. The installation team are great people - someone you could grab a beer with and chat. But they lacked the problem solving and attitude of someone who owned their own business. Issue #1: After the door was installed, the door did not close well. I had to push extra hard to get the door to shut. I asked the installer if there is something he can do to fix that. He did what he can on installation day (took an entire day to install and they worked past 5pm) and had to come back on a different day. On the second day, they made some changes to the door sweep. This made the door close better. However, this created an issue with a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. While walking outside at night, I saw streams of light shining from under the front door. This allowed insects to enter my house. I brought this to Mark's attention and asked him not to send the same crew to fix the issue because the installation guy had already told me that he did everything he can. Mark was able to ask another guy to come and fix the issue. The new guy showed up and fixed the issue within 30 mins or less. This guy owned his own door installation business and does the door install himself. During the whole ordeal, Mark showed up on day one to supervise and ensure everything was on track but he did not attempt to remedy the work himself. Issue #2: I paid the original door installers $xx (i forgot the amount) in cash to install a nest doorbell. The doorbell was installed but did not work because a transformer was required and they do not install transformers. I had to pay a separate guy to install the transformer. In hindsight, I would should have paid a separate guy to install doorbell who can also install a transformer if needed. This was probably my fault but I felt like I paid for something that didn't solve my problem. Issue #3: 1-2 months after the door was installed, i noticed that pads at the foot of the door had ripped. I asked Mark to fix and his response was that he would send some pads in the mail for me to fix myself. It's been a month and I haven't seen any pads in my mailbox. I paid almost $6K for doorframe and door (which i still have to paint myself). For this amount of money I was expecting a better streamlined, worry-free experience.
